This thread will follow the story of two youngsters growing up on Bridge St. as they develop, individually and within their friendship. ((hope you enjoy the read - open to feedback)) Born and raised in East Vinewood, Steven grew up with his parents Jamar & Kendis Dixon. His early childhood was not particularly happy, but not miserable either. Steven always felt as though they just "existed"; Nothing special about himself nor his family. Unable to get work with a good wage, Jamar spent many hours of overtime working hard to financially support the family. Meanwhile, his Mother, a prescription drug abuser, never had the mental surplus to deal with Steven, leaving him to fend for himself most of the time. As a result of the lack of attention, Steven began suppressing his feelings, and acting out in the classroom. Nowadays he spends most of his time watching boxing, browsing FB or roaming the streets of East Vinewood with his friend. His desire to become someone rather than just to exist and survive remains. Date of Birth: 5th August 2004 Nationality: American Heritage: African American Height: 5'7 Weight: 150lbs Prominent Features: Large nose Hobbies: Boxing, BMX, social media Felix was born to Miguel & Leticia Urdaneta, two Venezuelan nationals seeking asylum in the city of Los Santos. The couple, after going through the difficult immigration process, settled in a small apartment on Bridge St in search for a better life, giving birth to their first and only child a few years afterwards. The financial burden that came with the infant was overwhelming, but they remained a tight-knit family, often sacrificing the clothes off their back to ensure Felix was cared for, and working many hours doing any job they could get. Felix was a timid child, and was often the easy target to bullies, something that continued throughout the majority of elementary school. Despite this, he always had a kind home to return to, spending a lot of his time inside and entertaining himself with YouTube and carpet boarding on a deck with no wheels that he found in the trash on the way home one day. 2014 was the year this changed. Whilst he was at school, a car crash occurred that hospitalised both of his parents. Leticia sadly passed away only hours later from the injuries, whilst Miguel recovered. However, the recovery was only physical, the guilt, pain and stress gradually developing into an alcohol and gambling addiction, something that would put a strain on the household's finances as well as the relationship with his son. Nowadays, Felix spends most of his time trying to stay away from home, enjoying the park and roaming the streets with his friend, the anxiety of feeling as though he can't depend on his Father to survive weighing on his shoulders more each day. Date of birth: 20th October 2004 Nationality: American Heritage: Venezuelan Height: 5'6 Weight: 124lbs Prominent Features: Prone to spots, two small scars on right side of jaw Hobbies: Skateboarding, soccer, BMX riding, reading (non-fiction)
