  1. Detailed Description I believe the current Police Computer Aided Dispatch (/pcad) offers minimal features and functionality, and there are rooms for additions and improvements. The following is the list of the suggestions: Statewide Duty Roster | Addition I believe LEOs should be able to see other agencies' roster as it would be useful for coordination. For instance, if the Sheriff's Department has an available helicopter up patrolling, and there's a vehicle pursuit called in by LSPD. LSPD's supervisor can check the roster and request assistance. Example posted below: Inbox & Messenger System | Addition I saw @Barross's reply to a suggestion, and I think it would be a great idea to have a messenger system between LEOs in a department, where a unit under a callsign can send a message to another unit. I can think of a few example of uses out of this feature: Send descriptions of a vehicle or suspect to a designated unit Send information to other officers such as: Sending video evidence, witness statements, etc to a detective in-charge of a scene Forwarding evidence log number to the arresting officer of a suspect Send any alerts or information of interest Example Below was posted by Barross. Adding Notes to & Changing Status of Calls for Service |Addition & Improvements Currently, there is not much you can do with a 911 call on the CAD except respond to it. I believe adding the two options would help with advising other LEOs of the state of an emergency call. The following is the example: Daylong Logs of Non-Emergency (991) Calls | Addition Currently, non-emergency calls are not logged. They come and go, which is not known to be an issue. However, it could be useful to have them logged as an additional tab (maybe next to 911 calls), at least until the server crashes or restarts, just like how the list of 911 works on the CAD, so law enforcement officers know which calls have not yet been taken care of. Stolen Vehicles List | Addition Although there is already a command /stolenvehiclelist, having a small tab with list of the reported stolen vehicles would be neat. I suggest adding vehicle paints to the information as well to save the extra efforts similarly to how it shows on the mobile data computer (MDC). I have made an example of how it could look below. Unit's Assigned Vehicle Tab | Addition (Suggested by @415 Man) On the 'DUTY ROSTER' section of the CAD, add a 'VEHICLE' column which displays the license plate of the vehicle that unit is using to help keep a track of who is using what vehicle. This could be added to the /pcallsign command: /pcallsign [callsign] [licenseplate] For example: /pcallsign 2T18 12130795 Visual example: Or, if you're already sitting inside the vehicle, you could do /pcallsign 2T18 like normal and the license plate would auto-fill. The above are the suggested features I have right now. More may be added if ideas come up. if other fellow LEO roleplayers have any ideas, please suggest, and I'll add them here in the main post! How will it benefit the server? Without a doubt, the police computer aided dispatch will be more useful and informative, and potentially used a lot more. Law Enforcement will be able to communicate more efficiently with some of the suggested features. Some of the features would be quality of life improvements that help law enforcement with their regular duties.
  2. Right now, in the UCP you can check every text message that's ever been sent by or to you on the UCP, in the 'character details' tab. However, this feels like a weird place to put your phone messages when there's a tab labelled 'phone contacts', and trying to look through messages is a bit of a pain as it only shows the sender and recipient's number, not the nicknames you've given them. Which brings me to my suggestion; remove the 'character details' tab entirely, and move the text messages to the 'phone contacts' page. Also, in the phone contacts tab, add a 'message history' button to every contact, so that we can quickly and easily filter messages based on contact. To allow us to view message conversations from numbers we've never saved, simply add them to a new list of 'unnamed contacts'.
  3. While mapping my house I started to notice that my ui wasn't quite disappearing when I needed it to. I haven't changed any of my game files or updated anything, all my drivers are up to date, and I can't seem to fix it. It was annoying but bearable until recently when I discovered I cant use my phone, the UI doesn't go away so the screen of the phone doesn't change at all but clicking reacts like it has.
