"77 Main Street Swans, one of the comments on this posted picture being MAIN STREET SWANS “ELITE” Yall better know about these 🦢..77str FINEST" Main Street Swans - 77th Street Bloods, Original Byrd Gang The Eastside Mad Swan Blood (MSB) presently known as the "Main Street Swans" is a long-standing and active African American street gang formed in the 1970's in Rancho, San Andreas. This gang is believed to have been a dominant factor in the formation of the Bloods alliance in Rancho back in the early 1970's. The Eastside Mad Swan Blood were founded by a man named Elvis Dexter who grew up in one of the first neighborhoods to oppose growing Crip aggression in Rancho, which was centered around Carson Avenue and considered the mecca of the Mad Swan Bloods. Their territory in Rancho is dissected by Carson Avenue to the north and Brogue Avenue in the west to approximately Roy Lowenstein Boulevard in the east. Their cliques consist of 77th Street (the 7), Covenant Ave., 79th Street (the 9), Roy Lowenstein Blvd., and various other streets. They also have a second set further south, San Andreas. However, the Rancho Swan Bloods down South falls under the family line, referring to themselves as Neighborhood Family Swan Bloods. Compared to the Mad Swan Bloods, the majority of their members are of African American and Belizean/Mexican descent. The Rancho Mad Swan Bloods mainly, but not only feud with the Eastside Crips, some of those being the 6 Pacc East Coast Crips, Main Street Mafia Crips, and 88 Avalon Garden Crips. The Swans made John C. Fremont High School in Rancho, the predominant school for the Bloods in Davis, Rancho, and parts of Carson. The school is attended by the Harvard Park Brims, Hoover Criminal Gang, Bloodstone Villains, and many more Blood/Piru gangs. John C. Fremont High School also lies in the heart of the Rancho Crip territory. Students who were from rival Crip gangs often fought on the school campus or at the "Davis Car Wash." Which acts as the border line between the Eastside Mad Swan Bloods and the Davis Mafia Crips. After school, the Mad Swan Bloods would meet at "Bishop's," a restaurant located at the corner of Carson Avenue and sitting on Davis Avenue. This was a popular hangout spot for the Mad Swan Blood students. However, this bishop's location has since closed. - Main Line Babies, The New Generation (2024) In the early 2000s, the Eastside Mad Swan Blood (MSB) lost their hierarchy and were tossed in prison on multiple charges, costing them around $4,000,0000 in fines overall, and around 50 of their members, mainly being high-ranking, were incarcerated. This made the two sets MSB and FSB stronger due to the loss of numbers, having their name be known as the Mad Family Swan Bloods. They were still at a seemingly never-ending war with the all Rancho Crips at this time, which led them to war with their strong numbers and brains. Decades later, the Eastside Mad Swan Blood gang now stands stronger than ever, with their members ranging from 400 to 500 all across the Rancho area. Present-day Mad Swan Bloods, specifically the 77th, 79th, 80th, and 84th Street sets, have a clique under the alias, Mainline Babies (MLB), which resides mainly but not only on 77th Street and 79th Street and is now one of the most dominant blood sets in Los Santos residing in the Rancho area. It's known that they've been in huge crowds in these areas and stand around the many hotspots in this area. Some of those hotspots are Ronnie's Luxury Car Wash, Rancho's Liquor, and Covenant low-income housing. They run the narcotics scheme that runs through Brogue and the mainline Carson Avenue. It has no leadership but is run by small cliques of around 15-20 members each; they have one goal, which is to make money by any means. Till this day, the members wear distinctive red color clothing, San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Nationals, and Mercedes-Benz accessories. Rancho is a hotspot for gangs, which also means there are many rivalries between the majority of gangs in the area. Eastside Mad Swan Blood has always had run-ins, hence their being sworn enemies to both the Davis and Rancho Crips. Eastside Mad Swan Blood (MSB) are enemies of all Rancho Crips, in particular the 73 Gangster Crips, Mafia Crips, 88 Avalon Garden Crips, the 87 Kitchen Crips, 73 Hustler Crips, as well as all the East Coast Crips. They are also hostile towards some gangs under the Mexican Mafia/Sureños banner, such as the Varrio 38, Barrio 18th Street, Barrio Mojados, and the Playboys 13 with the exception of Florencia 13 one of their close allies. However, the Mad Swan Bloods are friendly towards most other Bloods and Piru sets except for the Pueblo Bishop Bloods, 892 Bishop Bloods, and Bebop Rancho Bloods, whom the Eastside Mad Swan Blood have had past conflicts with. Their conflict stretches for many years with their V.S.O.P. (Villains, Swans, Outlaws, Pirus) alliance against all Pueblo & Bishop Bloods. The Mad Swans younger generation is a more ruthless and nasty group. They've been at war with the Crips, and a slew of other rivals for years, due to politics and longstanding feuds that predate many of today's youth. Their rivals aren't the only ones they face; on a daily basis, the East Los housing developments are being targeted due to gentrification. Furthermore, many long-term residents of the region have been relocated or lost their homes as a result of the city's regeneration. Los Santos' future is considered to be haunted by its history in Rancho, a neighborhood in East Los Santos. A community that has suffered from decades of social, economic, and environmental neglect is now at the focus of the city's ambitious ambitions to improve housing and transportation access throughout the increasingly expensive metropolis.

Season 1: "Street Gospel" “Before you can step in, you have to stand on the sidelines.” In Season 1, we meet Homer Frazier, a 15-year-old navigating life on Covenant Avenue, a neighborhood steeped in gang violence and survival. Homer spends his days loitering with his best friend Dylan Vera and observing the older homies who rule the streets. Drawn to the allure of power, respect, and fast money, Homer begins taking small steps into the world of the Eastside Mad Swan Bloods. But the streets don’t just offer excitement — they demand sacrifices. The tragic murder of Dylan in a drive-by shooting shatters Homer’s world and pushes him closer to the streets he once only observed. By the end of the season, Homer begins to flirt with the lifestyle, setting the stage for a deeper dive into the gang’s dangerous orbit. Season 2: "Street Gospel" “The deeper you go, the harder it is to climb out.” A year after Dylan’s death, Homer Frazier is now 16 and finds himself pulled deeper into the gang life dominating Covenant Avenue. The war between the Eastside Swans and rival Crip factions has escalated, and Homer’s closest friends — Kentay, Hakeem, and Mekhi — have all joined the Swans. Struggling to stay on the sidelines, Homer’s relationships with his friends and his grandmother begin to fracture as the pressure to pick a side grows stronger. After a failed burglary lands him in juvenile hall, Homer learns the hard lessons of survival behind bars, earning respect and sharpening his edge. Upon his release, Homer is thrust back into a world where gang affiliation isn’t just an option — it’s a necessity. The season ends with Homer vouching for his put-on, stepping fully into the gang life and preparing to take his place in the Eastside Mad Swan Bloods. Season 3: "Street Gospel" “Being put on was just the beginning — now comes the real test.” In Season 3, Homer Frazier is no longer an outsider looking in. As a newly put-on member of the Eastside Mad Swan Bloods, he must navigate the dangerous reality of being part of the set. The streets are both an opportunity and a minefield, and Homer quickly learns that staying out of trouble is just as important as proving his loyalty. Balancing the need to make money, build respect, and avoid unnecessary heat, Homer’s life becomes a constant tightrope walk. Rivalries with Crip factions intensify, law enforcement presence looms large, and the expectations of the older homies grow heavier. With every decision Homer makes, he must ask himself whether he’s solidifying his place in the set or digging himself into a deeper hole. Season 3 dives into the day-to-day grind of life on the block as Homer experiences the rewards, the risks, and the relentless pressure of gang life. With the stakes higher than ever, he’ll have to decide if he’s cut out for the streets — or if they’ll cut him down first.

A music video by a public member of the Madd Swan Family Bloods a/k/a Byrd Gang. WELCOME TO SWAN LAKE— The Mad Swan Bloods or Byrd Gang, are a blood gang located on the East Side of South Central, Los Santos. Their hood stretches from Macdonald Street to Carson Avenue. This gang is predominately African American, but in recent years the Swans have amassed a large amount of Mexican members. This group was originally known as the Main Street Swans, but they eventually changed their name as well as their alignment after their original founder was murdered. Elvis Dexter, the original founder, was often seen hanging around some of the most original gangs in Los Santos. Surprisingly, Dexter was close in relationship with many of the Original East Crips in the early 1970's, but he eventually broke off and founded the Main Street Swans. Within a couple of years, Dexter was murdered in a park by the alleged Hoover Crips. The Swans then carried on his legacy by establishing many new gangs as well as sets under the gang. When it comes to the Madd Swan Bloods, they are located on the eastside of Los Santos, but can be seen around different areas of south Los Santos. The Madd Swan bloods are broken down into different sets, and these sets consist of the 77th Street Madd Swan Bloods, the 79th Street Madd Swan Bloods, the 80th Street Madd Swan Bloods, and the 84th Street Madd Swan Bloods. Although the Madd Swans are one of the largest Swan subsets, there is also the Swan Family Bloods. The Swan Family Bloods emerged from the abyss along with the Madd Swan Bloods, but they kept their own identity. The Family Swans get their name because of their alliance with the Madd Swan Bloods and their alignment with the Family Bloods umbrella. Gangs like the Innoncence Family Gangster Bloods and the Centinela Park Family Gangster Bloods are both closely allied with the Swan Family Bloods as well as the Mad Swan Bloods. Even through their affiliation with the Family Bloods, this gang is located on the eastside of Los Santos. Their hood stretches from Carson Avenue to Covenant Avenue. Inside of the Family Swans umbrella there are two subsets, the 89th Street Swan Family Bloods and the 92nd Street Family Swan Bloods. THE SAN FRANCISCO 49ER'S— The Swans has many different internal alliances, with one of them being the 849 Mad Swan Family Bloods or the 49 Swan Family Bloods. This alliance is between the 84 Mad Swan Bloods and the 89 Swan Family Bloods. The area they call home is located inside of the Shady Eighties. The Shady Eighties is also claimed by numerous gangs that fall in the streets of 81st through 89th. Gangs like the 83 Hoover Criminals, 83 Gangster Crips, 88 Avalon Gangster Crips, 89 East Coast Crips, 87 Kitchen Crips, and the 84 Main Street Mafia Crips are located in the Shady Eighties as well and you might hear them claiming it as well. Obviously, the eighties varies depending on which side of Los Santos you are from. Of the two gangs, there are numerous clique inside of the gangs. In modern day, the 849 Madd Swan Family Bloods are in their "YG" or "Young Gangster" generation with many of their members being between the ages of 12 to 20 years. Many of the young forerunners within the gang fall into different cliques between the two gangs. One of the newer cliques in the 84 Mad Swan Bloods is the Young Park Boyz or the 8500 Young Park Boyz. This 85th street clique is a band of young Swans who pursue many different tasks around the neighborhood from drug sale to armed robbery. A few streets down, newer cliques of the 89 Family Swan Bloods have came to be as well. For example, the newest clique from the 89 Swan Family Bloods is the 8800 Young Bird Gang or YBG's. This group shares the likenesses of the 84 Mad Swan Bloods. They both focus on making money and running their neighborhoods in number. Both gangs find themselves beefing with similar hoods around Eastern and South Central, Los Santos. Crip gangs like the 76 East Coast Crips, 89 East Coast Crips, 97 East Coast Crips, 87 Kitchen Crips, 84 Main Street Crips, and the 88 Avalon Gardens Gangster Crips are all common enemies of the 849 Mad Family Swan Bloods. In addition to the crips, the 849 Mad Family Swan Bloods beef with a handful of blood gangs. Blood gangs such as the Hacienda Village Bloods, Bebop Rancho Bloods, and the 92 Bishop Rancho Bloods are all relative enemies in the area. There are also distant beefs and neutralities as well. The Swans beef with many west side gangs like the Neighborhood Crips, 83 Gangster Crips, Denver Lane Gangster Bloods, and sometimes the Hoovers. THE SWAN BLOODS AND THE EAST COAST CRIPS— The Swan Bloods and the East Coast Crips have had a very violent rivalry since the beginning of both gangs. On February 2, 1990 a shooting broke out between two parties. Allegedly, two un-affiliated males were standing in a neighborhood belonging to the Mad Swan Bloods. Eye witnesses state that the two males were in red attire as well, which was a common indicator for bloods at the time. Within moments, a green Cadillac drove past the duo, doing a double take after noticing their clothing. The driver then pulled into a burger restaurant parking lot and hopped out, then making his way towards the group. Upon the male's approach, he began unveiling a weapon from his right side. Once the two males spotted the weapon, the young boys took off running. The shooter then started firing at the two, and while shooting, he shouted "East Coast Crip" and kept sending shots at the group. The male had appeared to be firing a .22 caliber pistol from a distance of approximately 30 feet. Although the male missed many of his shots, he eventually struck on of the male's in his lower back, killing him. When you think about this situation in today's time, this un-called for murder was probably a result of the rising "color-banging" epidemic back in Los Santos during the early 90's. For those who are not familiar with color-banging, it is the idea of "banging on" someone who is wearing the colors of your enemies. For example, if someone were to wear blue or red in the 90's, they would have most likely been subject to gang violence because of the color they are wearing. In the sense of now, color-banging is seen as a pre-historic idea. It was abandoned as the years passed because of how "silly" the idea is. In today's time, you will see bloods dressed in all blue and crips dressed in all red.
