Development of the A Character Name: Angel Varela Origin: Mexican-American Occupation: Davis High Family: N/A Story: Angel Varela is a 15-year-old male from Davis Avenue South Los Santos, San Andreas. Like every other Mexican American man who was born and raised in inner-city Los Santos, he had a rough upcoming as a kid. With a mother with two jobs, and an absent father who left him once he was conceived, Angel had no father figure in his life, and quite frankly he had to be his own father figure. Growing up off of Davis Avenue there was no doubt that Angel would fall victim to the streets. Though Angel was tied up in the streets, he still attended school and eventually graduated from South LS High at the age of 15. Not interested in any post-secondary education, Angel continues his dedication and dependency on the streets to make money for himself. As time passed, Angel is moved out of the spotlight of being the only child, not knowing how to handle this change, he becomes a growing reckless hazard, which causes him to eventually be put out of his mother's home. Today, Angel crashes on a couch every night that sits in government housing in the area of Brogue Avenue quiet, content, and to himself. Current Faction

Following the life of Pablo "Paco" Cortez Pablo "Paco" Cortez is a first gen Mexican American. His Mother worked as a sex worker and came from Mexico with an alleged pimp. Once she touched Los Santos, she was pregnant but shot her alleged pimp. After doing 2 years for self defense, she moved into the Brogue neighborhood. It is unclear about her alliances with the neighborhood, but since then, Paco has grown up in the neighborhood. He was quiet but observant during his first years in elementary school. He would experience a lot of bullying at school, which led to him constantly fighting. After elementary school, he would break out in middle school. His mother would barely be home, and would cause him to be out late. Paco would eventually become more goofy in class, and not take school seriously. He was suspended multiple times in middle school, and now is known for fighting. He is know a freshman in high school, and struggles with day to day problems with living in a gang infested neighborhood.

ES PLAYBOYS 13 ES Playboys 13 is a street gang that was formed in the 1950s. The gang originally started out as a car club by the name of 'Southern Califas Latin Playboys Car Club' however quickly gained notoriety and a reputation on the streets, it formed into a gang by the name of ES Playboys 13. The gang was funded by the sale of cocaine during the crack epidemic. ES Playboys 13 claims the Jamestown St. housing and surrounding areas as their main turf. The ES Playboys 13 gang are identified by their tattoos and sporting brands that the gang wears. Members of the gang sport Pittsburg Pirates sporting apparel as well as Philadelphia Phillies baseball caps, both of the logos are Ps which stands for the gangs name 'Playboys'. ES Playboys 13 have many enemies, a few being Mara Salvatrucha and 18th Street. The ES Playboys are controlled by the Mexican Mafia and show their alliance with the 13 at the end of their name. The group set out and spread all over, bringing a range of violence with them. The group began as solely Hispanic, but now recognizes members of all racial groups due to their physical expansion throughout the years. E/S Playboys originated during the 1950s in the Pico-Union of central Los Angeles. The stronghold of the gang is near Fedora street, Pico Boulevard and Normandie Ave. The most well known cliques within the ES Playboys are the 35th Street Zoo Riders (35ZR) and Chico Locos (CLS). ES Playboys 13, also known as the Eastside Playboys 13, originated in South Central Los Angeles. Dominating the drug trade in the area in the early 1970's, the gang made a name for itself. The cliques within the Eastside Playboys consist of groups formed on their respective street, such as '56th Street'. The cliques of E/S Playboys 13 are known to have a strong bond with each other. Even though Playboys are a known Sureno gang and use the number 13 to showcase their alliance to the Mexican Mafia, it's very common for them to beef other sets that are also allied with La eMe. The roots of these disputes always lay in money, drugs and territory, with the Playboys holding the mentality that anyone other than their own are enemies, and against them. The large number of gang wars involving the 'Rabbits' have lead to them gaining a violent reputation. Due to the intensity of the fighting, it is very common for cliques to 'bleed out' due to the death of relatives and friends. Calvin 'Spanky' Hastings, a Chicano rapper and Playboys member was shot and killed in one of these wars.

Yesenia Campos is a 15 years old teenage girl from Jamestown Street, Rancho. She can be often seen around the Playboys 13 gang, trying to prove herself as much as possible in front of everyone, being a spontaneous and big mouthed child. She is known for taking risks and making quick cash, involving herself in all such activities as dealing drugs and robberies, or luring people into getting robbed by "the homies". She is around 158 cm tall, being a normal skinny teenager girl around the hood. She has medium sized brown hair, mostly kept in a pony tail, but from time to time she can be seen with black braid extensions in her hair, cheap and sloppy applied make-up stolen from her mother would be visible on her freckly face. Big loops in her ear, clearly fake gold and used clothes took from her mother or mostly thrifted would accomplish her hood rat look, and designer shoes that are mostly one or two sizes bigger than her feet, clearly stolen from everywhere she could put her hands on. Currently, Yesenia formed a girl clique in the faction along with the big homies, rebooting a defunct clique that was once banged by the females of Playboys13, named " Pink Bunny Locas Clicka ", trying to take the female role in the sureno scene as a gangbanger more seriously, as they are mostly seen as objects than human beings. She tries to prove them wrong, underlining the fact that females can be more down for the varrio than most of the guys that fake claim the set. She lives with her mother, but she is mostly away with business or her step-father, her real father being sentenced to prison after severe domestic abuse, possesion of multiple firearms and multiple money laundering businesses.
