------------------------------------------- About Us ------------------------------------------- Bushwookie Ben’s is an independent outdoor equipment specialist and information hub for guidance to local outdoor activities and nature. Founded in 2022 by owner Ben, the store builds off of an old business venture founded by the Simpson brothers in 2019, but has a focus on information and equipment opposed to outdoor extreme activities. LSOR (Los Santos Off-Road) was a foundation that unveiled a passion for the outdoors and paved the way for Bushwookie Bens. Bushwookie Ben’s provides high quality outdoor equipment from various suppliers across the US and Canada, but also acts as a guide to the wilderness of Los Santos. All our gear is tested in a real-life scenario, and only the best equipment is sold in the store. We mean it when we say we care about the products we sell. We have confidence and order specifically for our customers needs. Trail maps and info-guides are there to share knowledge of the local area and to treat you to the true county experience. Rentals and programs are also available at Bushwookie Ben’s, from mountain bikes to ATV’s, to canoe training and hiking trips. ------------------------------------------- Our Store ------------------------------------------- Located on Tongva Drive, Bushwookie Ben's is situated along the river, making for a perfect spot to get passionate about the outdoors. ------------------------------------------- Rental Fleet ------------------------------------------- Outlaw: $1000 per hour, Dune $1000 per hour, Verus $800 per hour. Our current vehicle fleet includes the Outlaw, the Dune Buggy and the larger ATV, the Verus. All our vehicles undergo frequent maintenance by Sanders mechanic garage, ensuring they're safe for use, and are checked over before and after every rental. You will sign a simple waiver on rental, confirming your acceptance of liability in the case of damage or injury. Scratches and dents are part and parcel of the outdoor experience, you'll only be liable for significant damage. You must provide ID in-store, and you'll be provided a clean helmet and set of gloves. You must be suitably dressed or be willing to rent appropriate protective clothing, otherwise we will not continue with the rental. Your safety is the priority. If at any time we have concerns over your ability to control the vehicle, we will terminate the rental for a refund. ------------------------------------------- Stock List ------------------------------------------- Our stock varies heavily, depending on the season, manufacturer availability and quality testing. If we find a better piece of gear, we'll stock that instead. We have various manufacturers we're working with to ensure we get you good quality gear at reasonable prices. Our most commonly ordered stock is viewable on the website, but if you need something specific, you can order directly from us. Axes, knives and other tools will not be delivered, you must attend the store and present ID before continuation of sale. Recruitment - Job Description (Hangventurer) - Hangventurers are the backbone of the company. As a Hangventurer, you could be out in the ocean assisting a scuba diving tour, jumping out of airplanes on sky dives, guiding an off-roading excursion, amongst other customer-serving activities*. It all depends on the day! Hangventurers are expected to sign up for bookings that come through, at whatever your comfortability level is. Hangventurers also have the ability to work vehicle rentals and in the store if they'd like. * You will need to complete training/certifications with your manager prior to taking on scuba diving/skydiving bookings on your own. ---- Job Description (Sales Associate) - Sales Associates man the Hang Ten store, and they are just as integral as the Hangventurer. Sales Associates are expected to open up the store (with a manager present), as well as handle our numerous vehicles for rent. They may help do basic maintaining of vehicles (checking mileage/refueling/verifying registration and insurance paperwork are present) as well as the selling of merchandise. This role is for the applicant who does not want, or meet the criteria to go out on tours as guides. ---- Pilot - Hang Ten pilots provide customers with unique tours of the coast and countryside, aerobatic experiences, and assisting with skydiving/base jumping related activities. We also offer ultralight instruction courses where members of the public can learn to fly without a license. Pilots are provided with extra training to ensure they are comfortable with taking groups to various locations for jumps, sightseeing & making sure they get an adrenaline rush along the way. If they are interested in any other activities at Hang Ten, they are more than welcome to get involved. Pilots are expected to sign up to bookings to assist with activities, hold clean licenses as well as no criminal convictions. Extra training can be provided where necessary. Must have at least a rotor license, preferably both rotor & fixed wing & be willing to learn to fly the ultralights. Job Requirements - Sales Associates and Hangventurers - Must have/obtain valid Driver's License for the state of San Andreas. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have received a high school diploma or GED. Presents strong writing and communication skills. Must be able to follow precise instructions, especially the use of maps. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. Pilots - Must have/obtain valid Driver's License and Pilot's License for the state of San Andreas. Must be at least 18 years old. Our guides also receive 80% of the booking total on solo trips, or 40% of the booking total if done with a partner. If 2 or more bookings are completed by the end of the week, guides will receive an additional $500 per trip bonus. ---- Pilots - $6000 per hour (which is tracked by a clock-in/clock-out timekeeping sheet).
