  2. About Us & Employment - Our Brands & Products - Advertise With Us - Disclosure - Send Us An E-Mail SUBMIT ONLINE TIPS: https://lsi.gta.world/TipLine SUBMIT HOTLINE TIPS: Dial #151 Founded in January 2023, the Los Santos Insider ("LSI") has become a dominant media outlet within San Andreas, and operating out of Los Santos. With a objective of providing the general public with reliable, credible, and entertaining content, the LSI strives towards modernizing the media (and news) industry. Some of the content our outlet is most known for are: Local Crime, Investigative, Business & Finance, Sports, Breaking News, and other types of critical opinion pieces. The Insider is mostly known for its renowned team of journalists, and the incorporation of modernized Stringers operating throughout Los Santos County. Focused on the reliable and credibility of content, the LSI invests in it's ability to obtain local stories, photographs, and footage of things happening within your locality. Equipped with one of the biggest fleet of vehicles in the industry, the outlet also utilizes one of the first and newest approaches: Stringer vehicles to allow our journalists to focus on the content that matters with a sense of job security, the right tools, and a supportive team environment. LSI is known for some of the most eye catching reports and articles published in the last year such as The AdmireMe Shutdown, Little Seoul Riots, 2023 Mayoral Elections & Inauguration, and some of the most in-depth perspectives of the criminal underworld, all from our perspective for our readers. We are not a traditional media outlet, and neither do we identify as a news agency: we are a passionate team of journalists, photographers, and videographers that share similar traits with one another.. truth, creativity, and thriving to produce the most trustworthy - and eye catching - content throughout the entire City. Stringers are not well known in Los Santos - and being an open market, the LSI capitalized on the opportunity to support a reliable concept. By providing full time employment, job security, and the equipment needed to get the job done; our team can focus on what matters.. bringing content for you to read, for you to become aware, and for you to form your own opinion. "Our readers deserve factual, credible, and resource based content. They deserve to know what is happening in their locality without obscurity." (( OOC Information )) The LSI is a Legal Faction focused on preserving media roleplay on GTA World. Our ultimate goal is to achieve a realistic journalist environment of a non-traditional media outlet by focusing on "first hand" reporting, investigative articles, entertaining live broadcasts, and creating a unique experience for players with interest in media and/or journalism roleplay in general. Throughout our time we have been known for finding scenes by complete chance and turning that into actual content for the community to read in an IC Context; but also utilize things such as faction radios, the PIO frequency (communicate with LEO/Fire), and the Flight Radar. Media roleplay can be time consuming and requires a little more attention in regards to article creation or photography. While we understand this completely ourselves, our Faction has minimal requirements in terms of contribution so that our members can focus on genuine, realistic, and wholesome roleplay development of their character. We do not consider ourselves an entry level Faction, but we welcome anyone who has an eye for journalism, photography, and/or videography. In addition, the LSI has a "on demand" Corporate system in place for those who want to roleplay with our Faction, but not necessarily do journalism. The Los Santos Insider is committed to contributing to community lore and showcasing what our characters see while doing our best to keep media roleplay stimulated. If you are interested and share the same mindset and goals, you are most welcome to apply regardless of your roleplay experience. Proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and the ability to format forum posts (articles, blogs, etc.) are a basic requirement when joining, but are open to teaching the right candidates to make media on GTAW thrive. Our Faction focuses on Stringing, but also encourage traditional journalism such as news reporting, live news, and other concepts. For more of an understanding what a Stringer is, here are some resources: • Stringers LA: Playlist (YouTube) • Stringer History (Wikipedia) • Stringer (Britannica) All of our applications and the employment system is handled through Discord - and is required when joining the Faction. (( DISCORD )) The LSI is always seeking talented writers, photographers, and video editors to grow our family of journalists. Our outlet provides one of the highest paying positions in the local industry while ensuring job security, generous bonus programs, private health insurance, and paid sick leave. The ideal candidate will be in charge of their own talk show or podcast under the LSI brand. As such they will be expected to host their show a minimum of once a week. While our journalists are our main source of employment and the resource to keep the content flowing to survive as an outlet, we still very much require corporate staff that focus on behind the scenes priorities. No successful company can survive without a team of corporate staff, support staff, or general staff. When applying for this position please provide a cover letter and/or resume with your highlighted experience. The LSI is very much committed to job creation and providing job security, and are well known to introduce new positions simply based on your experience and desire to thrive in your choice of specialty. From account, human resources, conduct & safety, client service representatives, all the way to fleet mechanics and janitorial duties - if you are interested in any of these positions, we welcome you to apply.

The event featured an awe-inspiring array of cars, where owners proudly displayed their cherished vehicles, representing the epitome of power, design, and craftsmanship. From classic American muscle to modern marvels, the car show captured the essence of automotive excellence. A Jewel on Wheels: The Tulip M-100, the star attraction of the raffle, is a breathtaking masterpiece of automotive engineering. Known for its powerful engine, elegant design, and flawless performance, the Tulip M-100 exemplifies the epitome of a classic muscle car. Its sleek lines, roaring exhaust, and sheer presence command attention and ignite a sense of admiration in every car enthusiast's heart. The winner of the raffle was "Will"! Congratulations to him. The Sandy Shores Experience: Marie-Julie Flores, with her attention to detail and commitment to excellence, ensured that the Sandy Shores Muscle Car Show was a memorable experience for everyone involved. The event provided a platform for like-minded individuals to connect, share stories, and indulge in their shared passion for muscle cars. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with fellow enthusiasts, exchange knowledge, and forge lasting friendships. We asked Marie: "What was your favorite car of tonight?" And Marie said "Oh, that's difficult. -- I saw a red Dominator GTT with a pretty lady next to it. I didn't get a chance to talk to her, it had faded livery on it. I think that's my favorite. But there were some strong contenders, there was a Visiris I believe, I haven't seen that before." Acknowledging the Collaborators: Keith from High Desert Motorsports played a pivotal role in the success of the raffle and brought his expertise and passion for muscle cars to the event. Through his collaboration with Marie's, the raffle added an extra layer of excitement and anticipation, making the Sandy Shores Muscle Car Show an unforgettable experience. With the triumph of the Sandy Shores Muscle Car Show and the overwhelming response from participants and attendees, Marie and her team at Sandy Shores Car Wash are already envisioning future iterations of the event. They aim to expand the show, attract even more exceptional vehicles, and offer an enhanced experience for all car enthusiasts. Interview with Marie: Neo Trudgill: Marie, before we really start the interview, can you tell us something about yourself and this carwash? Marie-Julie Flores: Before, it was Sandy Shores Used Autos, which I ran from 2020, that dealership was focused on trucks and muscle cars, I retired from that business, The car wash is a bit easier on the working hours, also because I live in Sandy Shores. Neo Trudgill: Can you tell us about your experience organizing the Sandy Shore's Muscle Car Show? How did you come up with the idea, and what motivated you to organize such an event? Marie-Julie Flores: This technically isn't the first time, we had another one, but this was at least two years ago part of the reasoning is to get some life into our town here, that's very important to me, people need to be out here to see this is a vibrant place. Neo Trudgill: There wasn't a lot of parking space, and some people had trouble finding a spot. Have you ever thought about organizing it somewhere else, but here in Sandy? Marie-Julie Flores: Hmm, I think we did well on the spot it's important that its in the middle of Sandy, there's lessons to learn for next time sure, Sandy struggles sometimes, so it's important to take the opportunities to help liven up the place get more people acquainted with the area who wouldn't otherwise be here, and of course it also about the cars. Neo Trudgill: Tell us about the raffle that took place during the event. How did you organize it, and what prizes were offered? Marie-Julie Flores: My friend from High Desert Motorsports Keith came up with that idea! he's planning some races on the redwood lights track in the future he had a heavily modified Tulip that he raffled, it went very well! There was a lot of interest in that! Neo Trudgill: Based on your experience, what advice would you give to someone interested in organizing a similar car show or community event? Marie-Julie Flores: You'll always have to have some friends around to hand out drinks or snacks, guide cars in the right spots especially in such a small location. Make sure everything is done safely, it doesn't have to be difficult either, if you have space for it, like we do then you don't need to involve the government or whatever, for community events in general, you'll want to make sure there's enough to do! Neo Trudgill: What factors did you consider while choosing the location? Marie-Julie Flores: Well, for me it was easy, I own this location, I know exactly how to manage it and how to coordinate cars here, so it was logical. Private is definitely preferred. Public land brings red tape, paperwork and problems. Neo Trudgill: What was your favorite car of tonight? Marie-Julie Flores: So I saw a red Dominator GTT with a pretty lady next to it. I didn't get a chance to talk to her, it had faded livery on it. I think that's my favorite. But there were some strong contenders, there was a Visiris I believe. I haven't seen that before. but that GTT just had it right. Maybe you took a picture of it! Sandy Shores Car Wash and the collaborative efforts with Keith from High Desert Motorsports brought the automotive community together in a truly remarkable way. The Sandy Shores Muscle Car Show celebrated the timeless beauty and power of muscle cars while fostering connections and camaraderie among enthusiasts. With the unforgettable raffle and the chance to win the coveted Tulip M-100, the event will be etched in the memories of car enthusiasts for years to come. All the photo's of this event. 10. Tune in on station 108 or 169 History PlaybackFM was the popular radio station you listened to in the 90's. Featuring nostalgic Rap and East-Coast Hip-Hop, PlaybackFM educated its listeners in the the Golden Age of Hip-Hop and introduced up and coming artists from across the states including Los Santos, featuring the likes of Mad Dogg, OG Loc and more. Although originating from the East Coast, PlaybackFM's popularity shot up in the West Coast, specifically Los Santos where it delved further into West Coast Hip Hop, featuring artists such as 2Pac, Dr. Dre and other founding fathers of Hip Hop. PlaybackFM eventually fell in popularity with the rise of popular radio stations such as Radio Los Santos, iFruit Radio and West Coast Classics. (( Actual PlaybackFM GTA San Andreas Wiki that this faction has been based on. We have made adjustments to the backstory to fit our needs )) Overview - Presenters - Shows - Competitions - Media - Advertising - Contact Us Overview After PlaybackFM's collapse in the early 2000's, two avid fans and close friends Isaac Freeman and Pierre Cloud, sought out to re-establish the radio station, and re-grow it's following. Moving from Liberty City to Los Santos, they duo worked tirelessly to fund the equipment for their home studio and acquire the necessary licenses to get the show on the road. With the launch of PlaybackFM, the duo will bring a comedic take to Los Santos' airwaves, rivalling current radio stations who only seem to run playlists on the air. PlaybackFM brings quality entertainment to Los Santos, be it on the radio, live events or competitions and raffles. You'll have no reason to listen to other stations when we're on air. Tune in on station 108 or 169! Presenters Pierre Cloud (( @DoctorJxy )) grew up in the projects of North Holland, Algonquin, Liberty City with his mother and sister in a low income household. During his teenage years he was employed at a local internet café, TW@, part time whilst attending school in order to support his family. During this time, Pierre found himself constantly tuning into Playback FM hosted by Forth Right MC at the time. Not soon after, Pierre would then grow to form a friendship with Isaac Freeman who also worked part time at the internet café. Trying to escape the life of quick money and short-term goals, Pierre knew he wanted to expand his horizons and within those years his favourite childhood radio station turned defunct. From a few conversations with his friend Isaac he was convinced to move from his hometown in the east coast, where he journeyed west to San Andreas' Los Santos in pursuit of starting something big in the name of continuing Forth Right MC's legacy. Isaac Freeman (( @Leecho )) grew up orphaned in North Holland, Liberty City where he spent most of his time earning quick money and getting into trouble. He met Pierre Cloud at a local internet café where they both worked and vibed out to PlaybackFM, but soon after he left for London, England to escape troubles that were brewing in Liberty City. Five years later, Isaac flew to Los Santos, San Andreas after brewing an idea with Pierre to restart PlaybackFM after its fall and make it the best radio station in America. Owning a few bars in Las Venturas, Isaac has sold all properties and invested all his capital into making PlaybackFM grow. Shows TBA TBA
