Dating back all the way to the 1960s, the Rollin 30s Original Harlem Crips were formerly known as the Harlem Godfathers. Also known as Dirt Gang, the Rollin 30s Original Harlem Crips cement their presence in the West Side in the Jefferson Park region of South Los Angeles, California. The Rollin 30s Harlem Crips fall under the Rollin' 0's umbrella and consist of numerous cliques; each hailing from 35th Street, 37th Street, 39th Street, Avenues, and Denker Park. With the presence of the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips still in effect, the Harlem 30s Crip are considered to be only the third largest Crip gang in Los Angeles. The Rollin 30s Harlem Crips are known to be found in different parts of the world, predominately in areas such as Belize, New York and Harlem. A recent string of investigations conclude that membership base consist of about 600 to 1000 active members. Since the 1980s, the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods had been the sole rival of the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips and is regarded as one of the most bloodiest ever-lasting feuds. The feud decimated neighborhoods and took the lives of dozens of African American youths, both gang affiliated and non-affiliated. Rollin 30s Harlem Crip member found Guilty in Federal Trial August 7th, 2018 Malcolm "Trigger Man" Rowell New York By: Peter Tilersman A federal court jury has found 34-year old Malcolm Rowell, a high-ranking and reputable Rollin' 30s Harlem Crip gang member guilty on two charges. The trial went on for 4 days before being concluded. Already a convicted felon; Rowell was convicted for 1st degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm and will be sentenced later on this year. Rowell is a convicted felon facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 20-25 years without the chance of parole. NYPD officers arrested Rowell outside of his home on 37th Street and was prosecuted under the Protect Safe Neighborhoods, originally initiated by the combined efforts of Burea of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the United States Attorney's Office, and local law enforcement. In the early 2000's, M. Rowell's reputation as a ruthless and tactical enforcer began to bare fruit during the ever-lasting feud between the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips and the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods. In the 1990's, Malcolm Rowell's older brothers, Christopher "Warlocc" Rowell and Antonio "Ace" Rowell were known to both law enforcement and several witnesses to have contributed to the feud by brutally decimating their rival counterparts. Under their tenure, Malcolm Rowell fostered a reputation as a well-rounded soldier who specialized in tactics that triumphed against the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods in their bloody feud with the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips. M. Rowell adopted the persona "Trigger Man" for his lack of hesitation to act on the gang's behest. In 2013, brothers Christopher and Antonio Rowell were indicted and convicted for a string of burglary and drug charges. In their absence, Malcolm "Trigger Man" Rowell reigned as the leader of the notorious hit crew; which bares only the responsibility of carrying out murders on behalf of the gang's hierarchy. During his five year reign, M. Rowell along with a contingent of foot soldiers would carry out murders and enforce the rule of law at the behest of the Rollin 30s Harlem Crip leaders. In late 2016, in an effort to establish dominance, an attempt on M. Rowell's life was carried out at a drive thru Wendy's line on 39th Street by members of the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods. 7-year old Trinity Rowell was shot in the chest 3 times in what law enforcement believe at the time was targeted at M. Rowell and would later succumb to her injuries at the local hospital. In early 2017, in retaliation, Dontavious "Zooka" Loury, a Rollin 20s Neighborhood Blood member was murdered outside of Stiletto's, located on 37th Street. The murder of rival gang member Dontavious "Zooka" Loury would go on to be M. Rowell's nail in the coffin. Tristan "Trigger" Rowell 37th Street, Harlem, New York Born September 16th, 2002 - Tristan is the oldest son to Malcolm and Annette Rowell, and the older brother of 7-year old Trinity Rowell (deceased). Since Tristan's youth, his father Malcolm "Trigger Man" Rowell had been grooming him to carry on the family tradition by devoting his life to becoming a member of the Rollin 30s Harlem Crip gang. Both of Tristan's uncles, Christopher "Warlocc" Rowell and Antonio "Ace" Rowell were notorious Harlem Crip gang members hailing from 37th Street. In 2012, aged 14, Tristan began his tenure as an affiliate of the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips as a lookout on the corner of 37th Street for the "corner boys" of his father's up and coming hitman crew. Receiving lectures from several well-known soldiers and the wisdom of his father, Tristan's capabilities proved to be vital to many corner hustling operations in his neighborhood. He was often called upon to watch over the areas his father deemed as being apart of their turf. In the midst of Tristan's tenure as an affiliate for the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips, the feud with the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods were brewing each and everyday. Despite Tristan's family history of gang influence, his mother Annette ensured he and his younger sister Trinity maintained high grade point averages, though her efforts at steering Tristan on the right educational path proved to not have any influence on his decision to follow in his father's footsteps. In 2013, Tristan's uncles Christopher and Antonio Rowell were convicted on a string of burglary and drug trafficking charges. The following year, Elijah "Loony" Perkins, Tristan's best friend since the 4th grade was murdered in cold blood by a Rollin 40s Crip member who Malcolm Rowell knew personally. In an effort to win over his son's unquestionable loyalty to the Rollin 30s Crips, Malcolm informs Tristan that his friend was murdered by rival Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods instead. Malcolm, being Tristan's father and mentor throughout his tenure as an up and coming gang member, would go on to successfully win over Tristan's full devotion to the 30s Harlem Crips under the false pretense of his best friend being killed by rivals. During the summer of 2016, Malcolm and his youngest daughter Trinity were in the drive-thru line of a local Wendy's restaurant on 39th Street. Several rival Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods open fired on the vehicle in an assassination attempt on Malcolm, who managed to survive the onslaught of bullets. As the smoke settled, it was 7-year old Trinity Rowell who was shot 3 times in the chest. Infuriated and with his emotions in a turmoil over his sister's death, at age 17, Tristan embarked on a vengeful warpath without the approval of his father Malcolm. On March 8th, 2017 - a shootout erupted outside of Stiletto's, a strip club on 37th Street, which left Dontavious "Zooka" Loury, a Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods gang member in cold blood. The tactics that were utilized in the effort to assassinate Loury were similar to Malcolm Rowell's tactics which left many Harlem residences believing that he was the assailant and not his son, Tristan. That night, when Tristan returned home to inform his father of how he avenged his younger sister's death, Malcolm instead scolded his efforts. According to witness statements, the car that was used was later found in a nearby alley and was in Malcolm's name. A joint investigation was ensued in the death of Dontavious Loury and in 2018, Malcolm "Trigger Man" Rowell would later take the fall for his son Tristan Rowell and serve a minimum of 25 years for his murder. Christopher "Warlocc" Rowell, Antonio "Ace" Rowell and Malcolm "Trigger Man" Rowell are now serving lengthy sentences. On the day of Malcolm's sentencing in late 2018, Malcolm informed Tristan behind a glass window that the death of his best friend was a lie. The two severed their ties that day and Tristan has never spoken to his father or his uncles ever since. Chamberlain Hills, Los Santos, 2021 Tristan Rowell touched down in Chamberlain Hills in March of 2021 at the age of 19 and currently stays with his grandmother on his mother Annette's side, Gloria, in her apartment along with his cousin. Tristan's distinct Harlem dialect makes him stand out from the residents of South Central. Since his arrival, Tristan has incorporated tons of knowledge from his relatives during their era as leaders of their own Rollin 30s Harlem Crip clique into his daily routine. He was welcomed into the fold of many Forum Drive residences; quickly becoming another corner lookout under Zaquan "Quan" Heard. He stands at exactly 6"1, weighs around 136 lbs and has a medium body build. Tristan typically wears a lot of Jordan Retro shoes and is well-known around his counterparts as "Trigger", a name he intends to carry on despite his rocky relationship with his father.
