  3. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION CITY OF LOS SANTOS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INTEGRITY WAY 1, TEXTILE CITY, LOS SANTOS, SA Starting from the 4th of July a new bus line will be opened and existing routes adjusted 2 July 2022 Beginning at Monday, the 4th of July, we are glad to announce that we will be opening our brand new Red line. This line serves a special purpose as it is the first and only one with a circular pattern. It duplicates elements from most of our existing lines across the City of Los Santos in order to provide the best possible coverage when fewer buses are available. The travel time for a full revolution is kept under one (1) hour in order to accommodate the needs of our citizens. Additionally, some changes will be made to our existing lines to increase their efficiency and passenger experience: The Blue line: - The route now loops through Rockford Hills between Little Seoul and Downtown areas, adding new connection points with Purple and Orange lines - In Little Seoul, the line now goes through Ginger Street which serves as the main activity hub for the area The Orange line: - Textile city stop has been moved from Little Bighorn Avenue to Sinners Passage All changes are in effect starting from Monday, 4th of July. The new route plan and adjusted timetables can be accessed via our phone app starting from Monday. (( https://gtaw.link/lst-live )) However, the route adjustments are already visible on our homepage: gtaw.link/lstransit Thank you for travelling and commuting with Los Santos Transit!
  4. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Starting from 25.04 bus routes around Los Santos are changing CITY OF LOS SANTOS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INTEGRITY WAY 1, TEXTILE CITY, LOS SANTOS, SA Starting from 25.04 bus routes around Los Santos are changing 22 April 2022 In order to accommodate the needs of an ever-evolving city and its citizens Los Santos Transit (or formally known as the Bureau of Transportation) is overhauling its current bus lines. This decision is based on the feedback we've gathered from drivers, passengers and potential passengers across the entirety of Los Santos County. The new routes will become operational starting from Monday, the 25th of April, 2022. Some notable changes: Orange line: Being our most popular line, it has been extended. The line will now continue on through La Mesa, Mirror Park and Vinewood to Rockford Hills. Violet line: Further adjustments have been made to cover more of the Vinewood area and include ULSA area. Blue line: Expanding from Davis into Vespucci and Del Perro Beach to allow for better mobility across the city along with an adjustment of the existing stops. Green line: : To enhance the public transit network, the county line has been reworked based on the feedback gathered from local residents in unincorporated areas of Los Santos County. Overall more connection points between lines have been established to allow for faster travel. Accompanying this, there are some timetable changes. Together with the new lines our buses will start operating on a better timetable system, giving you, our passengers a better overview when the bus should arrive at your stop. An example of our new line system can be found down below! New route plan and timetable system are viewable from our phone app starting from Monday (( https://gtaw.link/lst-live )) New route plan is already visible on our homepage gtaw.link/lstransit
  5. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION Los Santos Transit acquired by the government and leadership change CITY OF LOS SANTOS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION INTEGRITY WAY 1, TEXTILE CITY, LOS SANTOS, SA Los Santos Transit acquired by the government and leadership change 27 January 2022 Over the holidays, Los Santos Government has finished the process of taking the ownership of Los Santos Transit. We are now a division of the government, named Bureau of Transportation. The name of Los Santos Transit will be kept in use publicly due to familiarity. As result of this process any non-public transport services (like taxis and private hire) have been removed and now unneeded vehicles will be auctioned to get more buses to serve you better in one area. We will only be focusing on public transportation continuing forward. As a result of this our homepage has been revamped and re-opened. You can find it here: We have also managed to get ownership of an old Los Santos Transit Facebrowser page, which we will also be using to keep you up to date with our happenings. Sadly the merger proccess has been taking time and has been more complicated than needed due to the passing of the previous Comissioner of Transportation - Jenna Gardiner. Her position has been taken over by her Deputy Commissioner of Transportation, Lylian Starlight. Lylian has been living in Los Santos for around 4 years. She has had previous experience in management of a bus company and a trucking company. As the trucking company moved around multiple times, she is familiar with Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay and Los Santos. Lylian and her team are currently working in getting the merger process finished and operations back running smoothly. We are soon re-opening the hire of new bus drivers.
