Join us in creating a vibrant homeless and drug addict community where the streets are our playground and every alleyway holds a story. There is a distinct lack of unkempt, broken, vulnerable, misbehaving drunk/drugged people in this server. Together we can build a community that people are nervous to walk past in the streets. We could fuel the drug trade to new heights, thus enhancing the crime-based roleplay for us, gangs, and the police. Here's what I can envisage for us: Immersive Roleplay: Dive into the shoes of a homeless person or a struggling addict, navigating the challenges of survival and the allure of the next fix. Have you only just fallen into hard times, or are you a veteran of the concrete jungles? Be violent, unpredictable, cunning, dirty, tired, and rough. Endless Possibilities: From makeshift camps under freeway overpasses to hidden drug dens in abandoned buildings to bothering high-end stores by sleeping outside, explore the nooks and crannies of Los Santos as your character seeks shelter, sustenance, and their next high. Protect one another and backstab one another. Community Events: Plan heists to score big, or gather around a makeshift bonfire for storytelling sessions and camaraderie. Establish your own drug ring, peddle substances on the streets, sell your body and soul, or struggle with the demons of addiction as you chase the ultimate high. Run-ins with the Law: Dodge the watchful eyes of law enforcement as you engage in illegal activities. These cops have it too easy, let's be the nuisance that bothers them every damn day. With a low recovery rate for addicts and even those who manage to get clean often relapse, returning to the substance. The relapse rate is believed to be around 88%, that being the average number from multiple studies carried out, in comparison the relapse rate of cocaine is somewhere around 55%. With euphoria just one needle away, it's hard to refuse once hooked. "According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), in 2016 about 948,000 Americans reported using heroin in the past year,1 a number that has been on the rise since 2007. This trend appears to be driven largely by young adults aged 18–25 among whom there have been the greatest increases. The number of people using heroin for the first time is high, with 170,000 people starting heroin use in 2016, nearly double the number of people in 2006 (90,000)" "From 1999–2018, almost 450,000 people died from an overdose involving any opioid, including prescription and illicit opioids." Scott Rampart, a/k/a Spanky, is a peckerwood gangster from Vinewood. He's a career criminal, drug addict, recidivist, and tagbanger. He's affiliated with the Vinewood Stoners (VWS) and Always There Krew (ATK). Drug addiction (methamphetamine/heroin) and relapsing are recurring struggles in his life that often lead him to incarceration. His criminal career began early as a juvenile offender and carried on into adulthood. He hops from motel to motel, couch to couch, cell to cell, and looks for the next quick scheme to make him some money. His brother is part of the W/S Rebels 13 gang. I'll use this thread sporadically in case I feel like showcasing any developments.

Ronald Portis Ronald "Bugs" Portis is a homeless drug addict and dollar-cigarette connoisseur. He can be mostly found walking the streets downtown to South Central, selling cheap cigarettes to fund his addiction. Biography Earlier Years Ronald Portis was born June 26, 1981 at the Central Los Santos Medical Center in Los Santos, San Andreas. Portis was born to Leticia Walker and John Portis, both African-Americans. In late 1999, the older Portis removed Ronald from his home in response to his poor performance in school and has remained homeless. He has since then found solace in a plethora of drugs, thus earning his nickname "Bugs" among his fellow street folk. Current Life Bugs is often found roaming downtown Los Santos and the adjoining south central neighborhoods. He has cited to have been seen selling individual cigarettes by the dollar and very rarely with anything more than that.
