  1. MARAVILLIANS - THE GREEN LIGHT GANG A group of street gangs emerged in the East Los Santos area during the 1930s, it was later known that these gangs were "Maravillas". The Maravillas consists of several gangs across East Los Santos, such as Ford Maravilla, Gage Maravilla, Lopez Maravilla, El Hoyo Maravilla, Arizona Maravilla, and many more to count. The the late early 90s, the Mexican Mafia also known as La eMe began taxing Mexican-American street gangs, most gangs fell in order but for the ones who didn't felt serious consequences. The Maravilla gangs in East Los Santos were one of the few gangs who did not fall in line with the Mexican Mafia tax. It is said that when asked to pay the tax to the Mexican Mafia, Lopez Maravilla were being charged for something in South Los Santos that they had nothing to do with. So, Lopez refused to pay the tax, which revolved to a greenlight on the Lopez Maravilla. Shortly after, all of Maravilla Varrios were greenlit by the Mexican Mafia. Sometime in the late 1990s, all Maravilla factions preformed a truce to defend themselves against the Mexican Mafia. Things were getting deadly on the streets, and in the Los Santos County Jail, also known as the Twins Tower Correctional Facility, or "The Twins". It's said that the greenlit was ONLY acknowledged in the streets, and county jail, not prison. While in the county jail, things were getting bad, so bad that the City Of Los Santos had placed Maravilla in their own module, away from Surenos. About a few years later, in the early to late 2000s, the greenlit was taken off of Maravilla. Although the blood that was shed behind it can never be forgiven. Nowadays, Maravilla involved themselves with the Mexican Mafia, although it is still stated that the Mexican Mafia and some Maravilla factions maintain a shaky relationship. Some factions within the Maravillas have grown since the greenlight was lifted. While others have shrunk, some are even presented as "Defunct" which is another way of saying something is not active anymore, or "dead". Ford Maravilla's turf has since shrunken, and they're now at beef with neighboring Maravilla gangs, such as Fraser Maravilla, and Marianna Maravilla. Some say this beef sparked from backdoors, while others may say it's because Ford is trying to take territory from the two. Although we may never know what's the real meaning behind it. A COLD SUMMER - JEFFERY "CRITTER" VALDEZ Around 9PM on a June night, a Los Santos Deputy responded to a 911 call about a shooting. When they arrived to the area, they found Jeffery Valdez, a documented gang member from Ford Maravilla. Jeffery suffered from five gunshot wounds, two to the chest, one to the cheek, and two to the face. Jeffery's injuries were fatal, and Law Enforcement knew he wasn't going to make it. Jeffery was then pronounced deceased on the scene, and transported to the Los Santos Morgue. Law Enforcement reported that they had found a .45 caliber handgun not too far away from the scene. When a dummy test was preformed, it was proved that this was the gun used. After tracing the fingerprints, they'd found that a Michael Jefferson was responsible for this murder. But by time they'd gotten to Michael, he had fleed the state. Warrants were placed for Michael's arrest, and he was found in a abandoned barbershop in Arizona. Michael was then charged with Jeffery's murder, which he pled not gulity. Michael was put on trial, and they also found a cigarette with his DNA on it close to Jeffery's death-site. This dug Michael a deeper grave, and his lawyer even told him to take a plea. Michael still fought the case, eventually losing. The Los Santos Police Department department threw the book at Michael, and gave him life in the San Andreas Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Later rumors suspected that this was a gang-related shooting. But others said this was more personal. Jeffery had recently been involved in a spring of drug-deals, and some said his product was being stepped-on, also known as laced. Michael's older sister was a drug addict, and she'd recently been pronounced deceased after purchasing drugs from Jeffery, he denied that he'd sold drugs to Michael's sister, and only knew her from hanging around the neighborhood. Many suspected that Jeffery was murdered in revenge of Michael's sister. CURRENT DAY FORD MARAVILLA Nowadays, Ford Maravilla is slowly climbing back to it's reputation. With the Mexican Mafia greenlight, and Los Santos gang injunctions, it won't be easy. And they know it. Kids as young as age 12 are getting recruiting into East Los Santos gangs, although it's heavily frowned upon. Ford Maravilla now /functions/ in a small area of El Burro, mainly Fudge Lane, alongside neighboring Maravilla, and Sureno factions, such as Gage Maravilla, ES Lott 13, Krazy Ass Mexikans 13, Arizona Maravilla, Lil East Los 13, and more. Although these gangs are quite larger than Ford in numbers, Ford Maravilla has still maintained it's reputation.
  2. Daniel 'Blast' Portillo Birthplace: Paleto Bay AGE: 16 Orgin: Mexican/Honduran The New Kid Daniel moved to the neighborhood of El Burro at the age of fifteen when his mother won custody of his sister and him from their father. Daniel would frequently get out the house spending time with his dog Rocky to avoid the chaotic home life with his mother and stepfather. After sometime Daniel met Arturo 'Hopout' Diaz and Dylan 'Looney' Reyes. After some time hanging out with the duo Silent, Hopout, and Looney, Daniel was brought into the loop of the drug game. Enticed by the lure of money and financial stability Daniel began to sell more and more spending many hours outside of his home to push his product. Daniel didn't have interest in the gang life as it didn't appeal to him. His only goal was making more and more money and he got good at it taking advantage of fiends and Facebrowser to make sales. His Name is Blast Over time Daniel started to be lured to the gang life realizing that dealing drugs made money but didn't guarantee protection. Slowly over time Daniel began to pursue the gang life by choice as he watched those he called friends fall into it. During his early months in the area Daniel grew up in the heat of the war between Hillside and the 60s. After multiple affiliate deaths of Hillside and the war intensifying Daniel's change came at the death of Nicky Gomez who was someone Daniel found willing to listen to his issues. It was then he adopted the racist vibes of the area that the older members held which intensified due to the only smoke Hillside had at the time were with black sets. After a house fire that damaged his home and resulted in his dog perishing rumor from Armando Gomez circulated it was the work of a rival set which turned out not to be true. That night Daniel was taken to the 60s neighborhood by Hillside members in a attempt to strike back for their losses. A short search came up empty and in a fit of anger Daniel against his better judgment let lose a flurry of shots to a house in the neighborhood. From then on after members joked on Daniel's blasting at the home it was decided Daniel would be called Blast. Put on to Hillside X3 The following night affiliates took Blast again to the 60s neighborhood and like the night before it seemed to be an empty hunt. When the group prepared to leave a female walked down the road catching their eyes. When she was checked another car approached to pick her up. Armando 'Trigger' Gomez challenged them demanding they claim their set but the group didn't offer a response. Trigger opened fire on the group with a automatic and Blast followed up shooting aswell. It was unknown if the duo were indeed 60s affiliates but the group convinced themselves they had to be. That night Trigger and Blast were put on in a vicious beat in that made them full fledged Surenos and members of Hillside Trece Hellside X3 Younger members began to push the Hellside name and being misguided as they were old alliances forged by Hillside OGs began to become strained as younger members became careless and easily irritable to outside gangs. While remaining loyal to their Southside roots they began to show resentment for their fellow Southside sets feeling disrespected. Blast was one of the leading members who spurred others to this thought process. The resentment continues to grow and only time will tell the ending .
