So, basically what happens is, when I'm trying to make my char, and get to the gender options and choose my gender and then press "Start" my game crashes, I've tried troubleshooting literally everything, I've been sitting on the forums for like 3hrs now and still no solution. I'm running gta from epic, everything's on administrator mode n all that stuff. Can someone please help?

From what I've seen on the GTA:W Discord, it seems that several people like myself suffer from issues with loading up information from the server when spawning in or crash looping. I figured it would be worth making a general discussion on the forums for temporary solutions and workarounds we find. Generally, there's a few things I've spotted that can be done to reduce the chance of crashing when spawning in, hopefully others can share their work arounds: I've opted not to put this in guides as it's not really a guide and more an on-going discussion on workarounds as the script develops and new things are found. Crash loop workarounds I have found: Parking a car at the Vinewood Sign and logging out there sometimes works, if not at least when you get in you'll have a car. It's not been as successful recently, but it can be worth a go. Normally I've found one of my characters works better than other characters on a certain day, or for a few days, so when I find out which one is loading better I'll usually load onto that one before doing /changechar to whichever one I actually want to play on. I've also had some success in using a character with a pedskin to spawn at the airport which usually lets me log on maybe 2/3s of the time. Crash loops are possibly linked to your end, for example when me and @shaobadman deleted our GTA V folder in Documents\Rockstar Games we had some temporary success. I might try verifying my cache, although I feel I have done this relatively recently, and trying to play around with my end more and see what happens. Using up your character slots is probably worthwhile too, as this maximises your chances of having a character that loads successfully. I'll keep this updated if I find more things that work and hopefully others will be able to find workarounds for it too until the issue is fixed, or we find out we've been morons all along.
