  1. FRANK BUNTZ for CITY COUNCILMAN SOUTHERN DISTRICT, LOS SANTOS Family. Freedom. Future. "When the voice of freedom talks, Los Santos better listen." BIOGRAPHY: Frank Buntz was born in a working class household in Detroit, as the son of Jewish German immigrants. Frank's father Rudolf worked for decades in a meatpacking plant in Delray, while his mother Barbara was a homemaker and part-time accountant. Frank attended a predominantly African-American high school, where he held interests in sociology. Despite facing much discrimination due to his religion, Buntz persevered and stayed true to his beliefs in family, freedom and the future. After high school, Frank pursued a law degree at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. He began practicing criminal defense in downtown Detroit, representing falsely accused citizens. In civil court, Frank also represented members of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and was a known ally of Teamsters Local 337. During his time in Detroit, Buntz stood up for the working men and women of the city, of all colors and backgrounds. Seeking to grow his practice, Buntz moved to Los Santos twenty years ago and began representing its citizens in court. Much of his work came from criminal defense trials, as well as seeking people compensation in civil court for failures in our municipal system. Throughout his career, he has represented many homegrown Southern District businesses, including IcyDoll Enterprises and Rich Money Records. He's also maintained friendships with many other prominent institutions of the Southern District, including SheNailz and Bishop's Chicken. Outside of the courtroom, Frank enjoys jazz music and is a talented pianist and saxophonist. He had the pleasure of meeting many in the Davis jazz scene, including Chico Hamilton and Bob Obry. Frank enjoys attending local events and socializing with his fellows in the Southern District, and occasionally showing up to a car meet in one of his custom American classics. PLATFORM: Frank Buntz stands for three things - family, freedom, future. He upholds the American way of life, and firmly believes that the American Dream can be attained by anyone, including residents of the Southern District. If elected, Frank will bring jobs back to the Southern District, strengthening its economy and putting money back in the hands of the community. He'll work to privatize some services, while offering universal benefits of safety, security and sturdy infrastructure. Frank will work first-hand with families and businesses of the Southern District to address key and contemporary issues plaguing the community, and with the grace of God, fix them. He'll work to keep our streets cleaner, our children safer, and our community more prosperous. For too long, the residents of the Southern District have faced turmoil in regards to youth homicide and drug-related deaths. Frank plans to offer resources to parents and youth alike, to promote a healthy and wealthy life in America, and off the streets. By bringing a sense of community prosperity back to neighborhoods like Davis and Rancho, perhaps our lives can change for the better. Frank plans to work hand-in-hand with existing Southern District institutions such as Davis High School, as well as the local Los Santos County Sheriff's Department office, and others in the city government to bring about this positive change - not only for today, but also for tomorrow. A vote for Frank Buntz is a vote for a positive change. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! Those interested in donating to Frank Buntz's campaign can send a wire transfer of no more than $50,000 to: FRANK BUNTZ - 010040820. LSVIXEN XOXO ❤️ A Vixen's Guide: To Entrusting Others With Power Deep breaths everyone, I know... it's election season and the talking heads have been trotted out of their respective enclosures. If you're getting that sticky-yicky feeling from people you have never met before in your life now approaching you with glaring smiles online and in person assuring you that they truly care and that they've always cared, I am happy at least to inform you that you aren't alone. Politics attracts a range of personalities. There are the populists who will tell you what you want to hear but also get steamrolled by whoever shouts the loudest at their rallies. There are the ones that fancy themselves shrewd politicians, ever always with an answer that spin spin spins away any negativity or aims to destabilize the critic. And there are those in it because they intend to stand up for their community. Rare as the last category may be, they still do exist. But how can we tell the difference? I wish I had an easy blood test to figure out which people have lizard blood and which ones are hot-blooded humans, but I don't. What I do have is a phenomenal sense of detecting bullshit however and instead of playing the shit-sniffing dog for you all each and every cycle, I am going to let you in on the way my mind works. What's the saying... yeah let me uh... "teach you to fish" or whatever. Questions to Ask Yourself, When Asked About Your Needs 💮 Any political schmuck worth their weight in salt is going to ask you what issues you're concerned about. That's an attempt to figure out what you most care about so they can swing around and provide you with the strongest assurance that they are the ones to trust on that issue. But we are human beings, we are complex. Can our desires, our dreams, our hopes, and our aspirations be boiled down to issues? I don't particularly think so. These are some questions I ask myself each election cycle. May they help you to identify where the role of the politician may grease the wheels on your personal journey. Controversial opinion time. Money isn't the goal. It's a tool used to get your goals. If you want a house, more often than not you want a sense of security. If you want the recognition that having money brings, more often than not you desire a sense of being seen and respected. All the luxuries that money brings have core reasonings like this and it's important to realize what the underlying desires are. And the needs of our neighbors are equally important because let's say I don't feel safe in my neighborhood because of something like crime. Well, if my neighbors had more opportunities to make money legally and had more pathways to success, they'd be less likely to commit crimes and both me and my neighborhood would be safer. In short, their success and safety secures my ability to be safe and successful. With those questions in mind, what do you ask when you meet a politician? They want something from you. Your vote. Your support. Your acceptance. Maybe even your love and adoration. When they ask you what you need, they're asking you to put a price on it. Questions for Them, Putting a Price on Your Faith. ⭐ At my core, I'm an optimist. I want to believe that when people tell me they care that they truly care, but I've lived on this earth for almost three decades and I do in fact know better than to trust someone at their word. Their word however still is important. If a politician tells you for example that they are going to "look into" an issue such as tribal recognition or public housing initiatives, do not take their word for it, ask for their number, ask for a follow up discussion, send them materials. The moment your attention diverts from the issue is the moment they have succeeded at moving onto the next issue of the week without addressing the first. Here are some questions to ask politicians seeking your support. If they can survive this battery of questions, they may even deserve it. I know a lot of these seem redundant but they aren't. The deeper the candidate must dig themselves in, the more authentic they must appear. By switching topics, they can appear authentically surface level passionate about pretty much any topic, but the more you go into painful detail, the more you ask for written evidence and proof of conviction, the more evident it will become whether they want to authentically show you with pride the efforts they have undertaken and will undertake on your behalf or whether they simply want your vote and will hope your attention span won't bridge into the actual calendar year. Ugh, what's the fucking point, dude. It's all fucked. 😥 I know. I know. I'm not dumb. I've been disappointed by politicians and bosses before. I've held my hope out only for it to be slapped down. I'm not going to ask you to pretend those experiences never happened or that they will never happen again. But if you have the energy and the strength, I do have a favor to ask of you. The more people who passionately and full-heartedly ask the above questions of themselves and candidates, the more likely we are to get the type of leadership we deserve. The politicians of years gone by have thrived in anonymity and silence on all levels of government. They crave your involvement briefly during the election cycle and then they pray for your attention being diverted. Intense questions like the above show them a new kind of public that requires a new standard of effort and it's my hope that maybe, just maybe, it'll produce even one or two of the types of community heroes we deserve. You can mock me because I'm hopeful, but I'd rather have some clear-sighted, active, and energetic hope than be exhausted with a well-founded but tiresome apathy. When in doubt. Support each other. 🔥 We can't always wait for the right ones to come by. This means two things. One is supporting one another the best we can. Your neighbor might be short on rent money and if you're in a time of plenty, it can only make the world a little less shitty if you help out. The old lady might be hands full on groceries, open that door your fuckin' schmuck. It's a nice thing to do. Little kindnesses make a better world. The more people that do little kindnesses and well... it adds up. The second thing we can do is become the leaders we wish to see in the world. If you care about your community, I urge you to talk to your neighbors about their needs, identify which ones everyone keeps mentioning, and find the people who are supposed to be responsible for its solution or resolution. If you keep doing this and if you make real change, you become the type of leader we deserve. All in All. 💋 The final thing I'll mention is that each and every election is a job interview. We are the potential bosses of these politicians. They have to prove to us that they can do the job and that they are prepared to do the job. Even when they get in power, we have the ability to fire them through popular will. This is one area the Karens have trained us well for. If they fuck up, speak to the manager. If that manager fucks up, speak to corporate (aka the Governor). But never ever get it twisted that these individuals are superior to us or derive their power from anywhere but us and our public mandate. Do not forget. You are their bosses. They are your employees. Love you, cuties. ❤️ XOXO, DISCLAIMER >Comments are enabled!

Also Like, Subscribe, Share, is this your first time online? Click HERE ! LSVIXEN XOXO ❤️ Survey Says: LS Voters May Favor Zhao & Martinez in City Council Race! Hey hotties, so as you may have guessed from the whole "Survey Says" series here on the LS Vixen Blog, I'm big big big into data. I learned about how to organize a decent survey in college and babe, there's no rush like analyzing a hot, spicy, ready to burst data set. As part of my consulting firm, VIX Public Relations, I conducted a survey of voters to check in on which candidates they were vibing and also to get some insight into what they care about. First off, for the nerds who want to dig into it, you can find the data linked here. Your welcome. Send me love in the comments if this hits you right in the Chi Square. For those who aren't total dorks, I managed to get Los Santans from all over the state with a wide age range to put their two cents in. The best best best part of this is that we managed to avoid "partisan flooding" of the survey. You'll see why I determined that in a bit. But for now, let's get to some of the interesting things we've learned! Okay, but like politics sucks. Does this study reflect how much it fucking sucks? (Yes) Basically, yeah. So one of the first questions I asked was "Who among LS Politicians past and present do you find inspiration in?" 47.9% of voters surveyed said None. Lol. Burn. The only person who came even slightly close to having any amount of the respect of these people was Republican Senator Andrew Brandenburg and I'm pretty sure it's because he's the most visible attendee of State Senate meetings. So while we may know politics is shitty, we can still identify some of the real ones who proverbially "throw their back into it." WHO ARE THE FAVES, BABE?! Fine, fine, we'll get to the super cool part. I asked voters to select their favorite candidates in the election. This means they could choose multiple if they so desired. The top two candidates in this election according to the data are Democratic Candidate for the Central District, Olivia Zhao, with 57% favorability and Republican Candidate for the Northern District, Josely Martinez, with 52% favorability. This is spicy for a number of reasons. First off, from like the nerdiest excitement I can possibly imagine- it means my data wasn't flooded by partisan douchewads. More people selected BOTH a Republican and Democratic candidate based on their sheer favorability. That's so hot. I need a moment. Okay, I'm better now. The second interesting thing is that they're both part of heavily contested races. The Democratic Northern District challenger David Wu only came in with 33% favorability against Martinez and Republican Central District challenger Garrett Baker only managed to elicit a measly 9.5%. Yikes. Of course, there's a debate today at ULSA that might tweak some numbers for either Martinez or David Wu, so we have to like... mentally factor that in? Maybe? I dunno. (Yasss. Charts.) How much did voters align with their candidates on the issues? 🎆 (lol words.) So this is where it got all heart warming. Voters mostly agreed with the candidates stances on stuff. I'm talking all of the candidates we actually got platforms from like Frank Buntz, David Wu, Sophie Wu, Olivia Zhao, and Josely Martinez... I'm not seeing major discrepancies between their platforms and voters needs and wants. That's excellent. If they actually put those needs and wants into action. Fingers crossed babes. The most notable deviation I could see was with the controversial idea of a Curfew for Unaccompanied Minors. In our first post of this Survey Says series, we found out that minors are dying at alarming rates on the streets of Los Santos and that a majority of surveyed LEO and EMS officials supported some form of a curfew for minors who are unaccompanied by an adult. The candidates seem to have uniformly been neutral on this topic but voters more often supported such a curfew than opposed it. The median age of the survey was 34ish however so it could literally just be bitter childless millennials being bitter childless millennials, however.... the range in ages was from 18 to 70 babes... that's a solid range. Who knows. It's not a Personality Contest, it's an Election.... but if it was...? 👀 I threw these questions in for fun. Just to kinda see what you'd say. Sue me, I'm a nosy reporter and blogger. I have every right to.... inquire! Let's get ready to RUMMMMBLE!!!! Which candidate would you be most likely to win against in a fist fight? 52% indicated Ted Cook Which candidates are the most authentic? 42% indicated Olivia Zhao and 38% indicated Josely Martinez Which candidates are the hardest-working? 47% indicated Olivia Zhao and 33% indicated Josely Martinez Which candidates are the wealthiest? 71% indicated Josely Martinez Which candidates are pro-Gun Rights? 52% indicated Ted Cook, 33% indicated Josely Martinez, and 28% indicated Garrett Baker Which candidates are pro-LGBT? 80% indicated Olivia Zhao, 38% indicated Sophie Wu, and 33% indicated David Wu Which candidate could you outdrink? 57% indicated Josely Martinez Woosh, this was a jouuuuurney. The only comment I will endeavor on the above is that I have seen Josie's wine cellar and I believe she might secretly be able to drink me under the table. The party line questions went exactly as I somewhat expected! ALL IN ALL What do we make out of all of this? Well what I'm taking from it is that Los Santos is a diverse place, but we all agree on some basic issues. We agree that the government should be staffed by diligent hardworking dudes and gals, the government should be well-funded and use those funds to everyone's benefit, and it kinda shows how much we're willing to put party aside even when the talking heads online are yelling at each other over this or that scandal of the week. Anyway. Just wanted to share with you this cute lil thing I did. Love you all. XOXO, DISCLAIMER >Comments are enabled!
  6. Hey everybody. We're still figuring out how these clubs work but I figure I'd post the first topic. Straight to the point, what are some things you'd like to see out of the government on this server?
