Vespucci Beach is a popular seaside area. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and outdoor activities. Despite being the most popular beach in the country, it is also the most dangerous. The beach has the highest rates of theft, robbery, and violent crime like assault, homicide. The area is full of street gangs, the main cause of crime. One of the biggest street gangs in the area is the Asian Boyz Crips. The band was formed in the early 90's. The main reason that local Asian refugees banded together was to protect their community from atrocities, Latino and African-American gangs, and from racial attacks. The gangs were largely filled by Cambodian immigrants, but also included some from Vietnam and the Philippines. The gang is now well known, with several illegal activities to its name, such as car theft, drug trafficking, extortion, burglary and murder. The ABZ gang is a section of the big Crips gang.They are allies of several Crips sets, such as Sons of Samoa Crips, Insane Crips,Rollin 20's Crips. Another big ally is the Vietnamese Boyz gang. The gang also has other names, like Asian Crips, Asian Boys, 1226 or just ABZ. Their enemies are the East Side Longos and the Tiny Rascal Gang, but their biggest enemy is the Wah Ching Gang, with over ten murders in the conflict between the two gangs. Present day Dennis Vong spent his days at the home of one of his friends after the OGs were shut down by law enforcement a few weeks ago. When he finally ventured out onto the streets, he immediately contacted his homies to discuss what to do next. The gang picked up where the OGs left off and started reaching out to their old contacts to raise money. Out of Character Our aim is to give a realistic representation of the ABZ street gang on the streets of Vespucci. We also want to pay great attention to the gang's activity and the character development of the characters. Three arrests, multiple guns and $25.000 worth in illegal narcotics seized by the LSPD. by John Qunios and Adam Emamdjomeh | Local 10 | June 16, 2015 After a shooting in Vespucci Beach and the murder of two men on Melanoma Street, various 911 calls have been reported shortly after, which lead to a raid of the gangs frequent hang out spot, a small apartment in Melanoma Street. The Gang Unit had already been investigating the group for several months and was able to arrest three people as a result of the raid. Allegedly, the individuals were two Shoot To Kill Asian BoyZ Crip members and one Suicide Town Crip member who ruled the streets in Melanoma with their respective groupings. In addition to the arrests of the individuals, several ounces of drugs were seized as well as smaller handguns. The Los Santos Police Department estimates the value of the products at approximately $25.000. Two of the found handguns are linked to a shooting in South Central where three rival gang members got shot and killed. But who is the Asian BoyZ Gang and what are they known for? Here is a quick run-down for one of the most violent gang in Vespucci: The Asian Boyz, also known as ABZ, is an Southeast Asian American street gang founded in the late '80s after the Tiny Raskals split up. The majority of their members were Cambodian immigrants who fled Cambodia during and after what's now known as the Cambodian Genocide. now, the Asian Boyz are being held together by a tightknit community of Southeast Asian teenagers and early adults stepping in the shoes of the generations before them. The Cambodian Genocide resulted in the killings of over two million Cambodians in the span of only 4 years. Upon fleeing their home country due to extremely brutal living conditions, refugees settled in the more affordable ghetto hoods in the state of San Andreas, particularly Vespucci. The children of these families were often bullied and discriminated against because of their race. As a result of the constant harassment from the local Hispanic and African American gangs, young Asian boys banded together to protect their own. TRG was the first Asian gang in Vespucci and when TRG split up, ABZ was formed in the late '80s. All known sub-sets of the ABZ gang in San Andreas rep Crips. They're a part of an alliance known as the Suisidal Exotic Asians (SEA) Crips. This alliance consists of Asian Boyz, Suicide Town Crips, Sons of Samoa, and Exotic Family City Crips. They're also known to be cliqued up with Insane Crips and some sub-sets of the 18th Street gang. Asian Boyz gained notoriety for what's now known as the "summer madness." It all started because of a pool hall shooting where a member of the Wah Ching shot and killed Asian Boyz member Kicker. After this shooting, Asian Boyz went on a murder spree which later became known as the "summer madness." The official death toll of the summer madness was 42, however, law enforcement officials think more people were killed. Who is responsible for the founding of one of the most violent ABZ subsets ever? It's believed that after the mentioned shooting and the killing of Asian Boyz members named Daniel N. and James B. a car rode out to the rivals set in South Central, shooting and killing the responsible shooters the same night. The friends earned the respect of the higher-ups, shortly after starting their own crew which is now growing every day and is responsible for shootings all over Vespucci Beach, the infamous Shoot To Kill Asian BoyZ. Several shootings all over Tug Street and Melanoma are being linked to STK ABZ, such as the killing of Krazy Miller Boyz affiliates Victor S., Jordan K., and female clique-leader Vivian H., as well as an old lady with no affiliation to the Krazy Miller Boyz whatsoever, leading to KMB going defunct. W/S Longo 13, one of the biggest hispanic sets and the biggest rival of STK ABZ, was also announced defunct after several shootings and a stabbing in a short period of time, resulting in the main-figures dying, it's also believed that STK ABZ is the main reason for that, however, no arrests have been made due to the lack of evidence. But STK ABZ is not only actively beefing in Vespucci, it's known that they also are responsible for shootings in the area of the Chamberlain Hills where the Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods are currently residing at. It's safe to say that STK ABZ is one of the most violent ABZ-subsets that currently exists, if not the most violent one ever. The Los Santos Police Department has since taken steps to prevent upcoming altercations like those that have occurred in previous years. "We hope, of course, that the violence will drop down and that the streets become a safe place for our kids again. Shoot To Kill is known as a very brutal group. Accordingly, we want to prevent the members of the SEA alliance from creating major problems. Nevertheless, we are positive about the future." informed us, Sergeant M. — Overview — The Asian Boyz Crips (ABZ) is a relatively active street gang, mainly based in the LBC but they are also located in other areas of California along with other states in the US. The Asian Boyz are also mainly known in Boston Massachusetts. The street gang mainly consists of Cambodians, the Vietnamese, Koreans, and some members of Laotian descent. Asian Boyz also has quite a bit of African Americans along with some Hispanics and some other races. 1226 gang was established during the mid-1980s and began in the LBC. BACKGROUND — To first understand Asian Boyz (1226), you have to understand its enemies. In the mid to late 1970s, the communist Khmer Rouge (translated to Red Khmer) took power in Cambodia, forcing hundreds of thousands of Cambodian refugees to flee their country. The Khmer Rouge’s power came after a bloody civil war against the Cambodian government, which led to the mass killing of several political figures, their families, religious leaders, and members of the Buddhist church. Many immigrants moved to Cambodia town in Long Beach to start their new lives. The Khmer Rouge’s power fell after the country of Vietnam went to war with Cambodia and saw the removal of power from the Khmer Rouge. In 1981 the first Cambodian gang was formed in Long Beach, called the Tiny Rascals Gang. The name of the gang was a jest to their small size, and the gang was formed after racial tensions with rival Hispanic gangs, primarily the Varrio Longos gang reached a boiling point. The Longos-Rascals war was started after a group of Tiny Rascals members killed a member of the Eastside Longos in a drive-by shooting. This war has been going on since the conception of the tiny rascals gang and continues to this day. In the 1980s the first cliques of the Asian Boyz gang formed, following infighting with the Tiny Rascals Gang. The Asian Boyz gang split off from the Tiny Rascals, and the two gangs have been mortal enemies ever since, even to this day. The Asian Boyz inherited the rivalry with the Eastside Longos, and the ABZ-Longos war kicked off. Asian Boyz chose the color blue and fell under the Crip card like all other black Long Beach gangs. They formed a very close alliance with the Sons of Samoa gangster crips, and many other Asian Crip gangs such as Exotic Family Crip, Suicidal Town Crip, and the 18th Street gang. The gangs fell under the SEA card, which stands for either South East Asian or Suicidal Exotic Asians. The gang got its start by robbing homes, which became their signature crime. Most of the firearms the gang acquired were from home invasions and stolen from a house. Another large staple of most Asian gangs is grand theft auto, breaking into a car, stealing it, and stripping it for parts and money. SUMMER MADNESS — The Asian BoyZ Gang is known for its chaos in 1998. The riot of the Asian BoyZ gang was called "Summer Madness" leaving around 12 Wah Chings (Triads) dead, in LA, CA And in 2005 4 Tiny Raskal Gang member's dead, in Fresno, CA And 5 Tiny Raskal Gang Member killed, in Lowell, MA and around 20 Tiny Raskal Gang Member's killed, in Long Beach, CA And 8 Left Out Kidz (Blood Gang) dead, in Santa Rosa, CA And Much more murders across the country. The Asian BoyZ is on the American's Most Wanted List. The one who created the Asian BoyZ Gang is now in Cambodia. The Asian BoyZ Gang is well known in Long Beach, CA, Lowell, MA, Fresno, CA, Santa Rosa, CA, And Cambodia. MODERN DAY — 1226 even till this day are outside active and programing, the young niggas all around are getting active on Roaches, Peanuts, Bean Pies, and most definitely the Chongo's out of all of them. When it comes to the beef between Chongos and ABZ, ABZ completely mashes on them in the current day. Chongo's claim the entirety of the LBC but for the most part they really don't be on shit for real. With this day and age the newest generation out go by the InfAnts / InfAnt Locs. Anybody getting their put-on / Official in this time period is becoming an InAnt. The Infants are the most activated and the most active outside nowadays. You can constantly see them out programming and patrolling the set and also getting active on the gram. The Infants, with them being the newest generation out are still learning the ways of banging and often look up to the Tiny Locs for guidance. The InfAnts consist of young teenagers and the oldest Infants around these times are at most in their early twenties.
