This thread will document the development of Elena Velázquez, an undocumented woman from Jalisco, Mexico fleeing the violence of the Mexican Drug War. Age: 18 Birthplace: Guadalajara, Jalisco Background: Elena Velazquez is an undocumented immigrant who hails from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Her mother worked as a doctor, while her father served as a local police officer. Elena fled Mexico at the age of 15 for the United States, due to the rampant violence in her hometown. Elena's father was killed in a shootout while on duty. With the family in crisis, Elena’s mother paid a coyote to ferry her into San Andreas across the border in the hope of reaching her uncle who lives in Los Santos. She was smuggled into Los Santos with the help of an affiliate of the Hoy Ping Association - James Yan, an experienced coyote. Upon arriving in Los Santos, Elena set out to link up with her uncle who was renting a property in the Charleston projects of Davis. She spent the first few months navigating the wild environment that is South Central. Over a period of two years she has managed to adapt to her environment; becoming friends with affiliates of the local street gang in her area, 500 Block Piru all while attending Davis High and hustling as a small-time street drug dealer to make ends meet. Elena's stay in Davis was only temporary, she spent two years in Davis before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona to live with her aunt. Special shout to Dimmi for the smuggling RP below.
