Consult legal experts before proceeding. Introduction Hello, GTA WORLD. In this Guide you'll learn how to Re-Rock (Cutting Cocaine and pressing it back into Rock form) your Product! Please notice the Disclaimer above, I do not take any responsibility and strictly recommend this for Roleplay purposes only. From time to time I've come across various ways on how to Re-Rock Blow and experimented for myself, obviously not the REAL thing. The items shown in the pictures following are props and only for scientific reasons. So you've got your hands on HQ Product and obviously want to make the most of it, so you decide to cut it right? But how? You've come to the right place! iDrill will guide you along on how to maximize your profit on these virtual streets and bring quality Roleplay Content to this awesome Community! Requirements - High Quality Cocaine - Digital Scale (Pocket Scale) - Pressform (DIY or Bought) - Acetone (Binding Product & Cut) - Utensils Pictured may be useful Cutting Agents (Main Cut) Inositol Creatine Powder Milk Powder (Pictured) etc. What is this for? We use Cutting Agents to up the weight of our Product, always keep in mind that more cut means less quality. There are Cutting Agents which add weight and have similar effects to Cocaine but I will not feature or share these methods. Visual Booster (Secondary Cut) Boric Acid Creatine Powder Phenacetin etc. What does it do? It gives the Product a glitter/shimmering effect, basically makes it shiny and raw. Effects Benzocaine Lidocaine Speed etc. What does it do? Adds a numbing effect to your Product, however, you shouldn't add more than 1/8 of the cut. Speed gives your Cocaine a kick, it's a booster. But I wouldn't recommend. The Recipe Figure out your product your product to cut ratio. Most go with 1:1 cut. DIY Press Form 1.) Weigh the Product Begin by accurately weighing the Product you intend to process. 2.) Weigh the Cutting Agent Measure the appropriate amount of cutting agent needed for your product. 3.) Crush Product on Plate If there are any remaining rocks in the product, place it on a flat surface like a plate. Cover it with baking paper or a clean money bill to avoid contamination. Apply pressure with a card to crush the rocks effectively. 4.) Finely Crush Into Powder Remove the baking paper or money bill and continue crushing the product until it reaches a fine powder consistency. 5.) Spread the Powder evenly Spread the powdered product evenly on a clean surface. This step prepares the product for mixing with other ingredients. 6. Thoroughly Spread Cutting Agent Spread the additional product evenly over the powdered one. Ensure thorough coverage to facilitate proper mixing and consistency. 7. Mix and Spread your Cut Product evenly Mix the combined products thoroughly to ensure homogeneity. Spread the mixture evenly on the plate once again to prepare for further processing. 8. Spray Acetone Lightly spray Acetone dust over the mixture. Exercise caution not to spray too much, otherwise your Product will have a bad taste. This step helps in binding the ingredients together. 9. Mix Again on Plate Utilize two cards to mix the moistened mixture thoroughly on the plate. This ensures even distribution of moisture and cutting agents. 10. Pour Into Press Form Once properly mixed, transfer the mixture into the press form. Ensure even distribution to achieve uniform results. 11. Clamp in Vice and Apply Pressure Secure the press form in a vice and apply significant pressure. This step compresses the mixture, forming it into the desired shape and consistency. 12. Final Product After applying pressure, carefully remove the final product from the press form. I recommend leaving it out to dry if there's any moisture left. Despite the potential downside of flat rocks, the product is now ready for packaging and distribution. Final Product Packaged Hope you enjoyed this guide, let me know. 🙂
  2. Hello! I'd like to initiate a discussion on ROLEPLAY servers regarding gaming addiction. I personally went through a phase of gaming addiction when I was younger, back in the SAMP days but have since learned to strike a healthy balance between my real-life commitments and gaming. Let's dive into the challenges associated with gaming addiction and how we can maintain a healthy equilibrium between our real lives and gaming.
  3. This thread will follow a character development of Anwar Muhammad. An Egyptian young adult that is passionate about getting into the money world, and starting his dream business. His dream is to become like his father a famous business man, and continue his father's steps. The development will not be focused in the legal side of the character, but will also be focused on the illegal side of the character, that will happen if the development lead him to that.
  4. Absolutely adore this game, especially since I grew up playing DnD and World of Warcraft. I feel a sense of nostalgia playing BG3 and have never been so deeply invested in all the characters along the journey. You don't need a regular subscription to play as it is a one-off-payment. Highly recommend this game!
  5. A Guide to Roleplaying Intoxication (or Impairment) Preamble In 2020 there were 11,654 fatalities in motor vehicle traffic crashes in which at least one driver was alcohol-impaired. This represented 30 percent of all traffic fatalities in the United States for the year. Spread across the year, this amounted to 32 people dying each day in alcohol-impaired crashes, or one person every 45 minutes. Alcohol is the most abused drug in the United States. Twenty-six percent of all fatal crashes on weekends were alcohol-impaired. Alcohol-impaired drivers involved in fatal crashes were 3 times higher at night. 1.02 million drivers were arrested for DWI in 2019. These alcohol-related fatalities represent an average of one alcohol-related fatality every 52 minutes. Based on the most current cost data available, these alcohol-related fatalities cost society approximately $44 billion in lost productivity, medical expenses, property damages, and other related expenditures Impaired driving is one of the most common law enforcement involvements in the United States. Here's a (quick) guide on how to roleplay impairment. Intoxication/Impairment - Lack of Divided Attention One of the biggest concepts to understand is the effects of alcohol (or other impairing substances) on the human psychophysical system. Most notably and easiest to roleplay, it impairs the ability to divide attention. Divided attention is simple, it's putting your blinker on while turning, or slowing down while changing lanes. The NHTSA released this graphic table illustrating the effects of different BACs. Drivers who are impaired frequently exhibit certain effects or symptoms of impairment. These include slowed reactions, impaired judgment as evidenced by a willingness to take risks, impaired vision, and poor coordination. These are the most common signs of impairment and the most detectable. We've all seen a drunk person attempt to perform a task, slur their speech, or just generally appear drunk. It's extremely difficult to conceal and typically readily obvious. Operating a Vehicle Law enforcement officers in the United States are trained to recognize the following signs of impaired driving: Problems in maintaining proper lane position Weaving, weaving across a lane line, drifting, straddling a lane line, swerving, almost striking an object or vehicle, turning with a ride radius. Speed and braking problems Stopping problems, unnecessary acceleration or deceleration, varying speed, 10 mph or more under the speed limit Vigilance problems Driving without headlights at night, failure to signal or signal inconsistent with action, driving in opposing lanes or wrong way on one way, slow response to traffic signals, slow or failure to respond to officer's signals, stopping in the lane for no apparent reason. Judgment problems Following too closely, improper or unsafe lane change, illegal or improper turn, driving on other than designated roadway, stopping inappropriately in response to the officer, inappropriate or unusual behavior, appearing to be impaired. Performing Standardized Field Sobriety Tests Standardized Field Sobriety Tests are a battery of tests that detect the signs of impairment of a person. They are not a pass or fail test, but present clues to lead the law enforcement officer to develop an opinion that the motorist consumed a sufficient quantity of an impairing substance so that their mental and/or physical faculties were appreciably impaired. Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) This test attempts to discover nystagmus in the different placement of the eyes. Nystagmus is the involuntary jerking of the eyes. HGN is the most reliable field sobriety test. Especially when used in combination with the divided attention tests, it will help law enforcement officers correctly identify subjects who are impaired. Involuntary jerking of the eyes becomes readily noticeable when a person is impaired by alcohol and certain drug categories. As a person's blood alcohol concentration (BAC) increases, the eyes will begin to jerk sooner as they gaze to the side. HGN refers to an involuntary jerking occurring as the eyes gaze toward the side. In addition to being involuntary, the person experiencing the nystagmus is usually unaware the jerking is happening. This test is performed by presenting a stimulus in front of the offender and having them follow the stimulus with their eyes and eyes alone. The stimulus then moves in three distinct manners: to maximum deviation in a single pass checking for lack of smooth pursuit, to maximum deviation and held for four seconds checking for sustained and distinct nystagmus at maximum deviation, and a slow pass to 45 degrees checking for onset nystagmus prior to 45 degrees. If you are roleplaying impairment by alcohol with a BAC above 0.08; you should always roleplay displaying nystagmus during each of the HGN tests (lack of smooth pursuit, distinct and sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation, and onset nystagmus prior to 45 degrees.) An additional test may be performed to check for vertical sustained nystagmus. If you are roleplaying impairment by alcohol with a BAC above 0.10, you should roleplay nystagmus during this check (finger/stimulus to maximum elevation) Walk and Turn (WAT) This test attempts to divide the attention of the offender to prove significant impairment of mental and/or physical faculties. The Walk and Turn has a total of eight clues, where two of the eight clues showing has a 79% accuracy that the subject has a BAC of 0.08 or higher. This test is performed by having the offender stand heel to toe on a line while providing instructions. They're then told to take nine heel-to-toe steps while counting out loud, complete a series of small steps to turn around keeping their lead foot on the line, and return nine heel-to-toe steps. The clues of the test are: can't keep balance, starts too soon, stops walking, misses heel to toe (1/2 inch or more), steps off line, uses arm(s) for balance (6 inches or more), wrong number of steps, improper turn. This is the common and popular "take nine heel-to-toe steps" that we've all likely seen on TV. When performing the test, here are a good few ways to show clues: Start as soon as the Officer states "Do you understand" after providing the instructions. Fail to keep balance during the instruction phase, stepping off line or swaying with arms. After completing the turn, stop walking entirely to regain balance. Complete normal strides and not heel-to-toe steps. Wobble or step off the line to catch balance. Bring your arms up high from your sides to keep balance. Take more than 9 steps. (I've seen people go to 21 before being stopped) When performing the turn, do a military-style about-face, or jump into the air and spin around, or any other action other than a series of small steps. Failing to count out loud is not a clue, but it is a cue, and often what drunks do. Stop in the middle of the test and ask for clarification on the instructions. Fail to look at your feet, look straight ahead at a fixed object. One Leg Stand (OLS) This test attempts to divide the attention of the offender to prove significant impairment of mental and/or physical faculties. The Walk and Turn has a total of four clues, where two of the four clues showing has an 83% accuracy that the subject has a BAC of 0.08 or higher. The test is performed by instructing the offender to raise a leg of their choice, six inches off the ground, keeping it parallel with the ground, and count out loud in the form of "one-thousand one, one-thousand two" until told to stop. The Officer times them for thirty seconds. The clues of the test are: sways, uses arm(s) for balance (6 inches or more), hops, puts foot down. This is the well-known "one-thousand-one, one-thousand-two" balancing test we've seen. When performing the test, here are a good few ways to show clues: Put your foot down, repeatedly and often. Ask for clarification on how to perform the test during the test. Raise your arms beyond six inches to keep balance. Sway back and forth. Failing to count aloud. Conclusion The SFSTs are not pass/fail. They show clues that help lead to the opinion that a person is impaired. This guide is currently only for alcohol impairment and not impairment on other drugs. I encourage you to roleplay impairment if you wish to. It's an enjoyable, unique, and different experience for all of us, especially us law enforcement roleplayers. I race to any mention of a DWI as they're always such great fun. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the International Association of Chiefs of Police are to thank for the sources of this information, in addition, I am a certified SFST law enforcement officer in North Carolina. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. My discord is oksam.
  6. There are many different personalities and quirky individuals that can usually be found underneath highway overpasses, usually in large groups. Most can be found wearing old, dirty clothing. The homeless tend to creep around small communities, which are usually situated close to the highway overpasses and are littered with garbage and other debris. Tents and sofas can be found in these communities, which is likely makeshift shelter, providing very basic, limited comfort. Homeless can also be found pushing around shopping trolleys and raking through dustbins. Though don't be worried, they won't attack unless provoked, and if so... you have to remember they have strength in numbers. ROLE-PLAYING THE HOMELESS Treasures / Food / Findings. Starting from the top, when you're homeless the thing you want to get is food, some clothes and perhaps something in hopes to aid yourself further through the day, may it be a sandwich, maybe finding an old hammer or perhaps even finding a plastic bottle to make-shift pipe for any sort of substance that comes your way. If you're walking around on your character, it's always good to show that you're going the extra mile, you're homeless, but you're not dead. You're hungry, thirsty and always looking for your next hit and or to complete some sort of goal for the day, unless you're burnt out from the night prior. If you see something of a pile, trash or maybe you're digging through a large trash bin? The best thing I'd do is start getting familiar with use rolling system, /roll 1-10. Here's how I use the system myself. 1-2 - You find nothing what so ever. Nothing of use that is, maybe a small piece of plastic to scrape out your next pipe or something of use to just chew on, a stick? 2-4 - You found a small piece of food, a little bite of a sandwich or a nearly finished donut that's stale and has a slight bit of mold, that or maybe a small bit of water in a finished cup that's collecting rain. 4-6 - Alas! You've found some sorts of drink and food, this time it's half eaten, oh boy! Maybe you've found a half eaten sandwich or a half finished cold and expired coffee! 6-8 - This is where the fun comes in, usually if anything rolls from 6-8 is where I like to say I've found a piece of clothing, some sort of artical I can wear, maybe a unmatched sock, unmatched blown out shoe, a scarf or some grimy looking beanie that can be dried by a fire. You can always put your own twist on it, perhaps you found a tooth brush or a pencil, maybe a pen that you can defend yourself with. 8 -10 - The Holy Grail, you've done it lad, you've done it. You found the "treasure" you've been looking for! This could be anything from a full meal... too a sandwich that's untouched and slightly expired and has been thrown away from the LTD or maybe you found a half case of donuts, no bites taken out of them either! You could also find a nice artical of clothing that isn't completely sacked to shit, maybe a military jacket or a matching pair of socks that little Timmy didn't want for his birthday, the options are somewhat endless, just make sure that it's still reasonably trashy, we're homeless... we aren't upstanding models. If I manage to roll a perfect ten? The options are truly endless, you could find anything from an piece of clothing to a full blown pizza that only had a slice taken out of it, maybe you found another piece to a bike you're repairing or a ripped blanket, some sort of piece to a contraption you're working on, make it up as you go! Tents / Shelter / Home / Turf The most known place for homeless activity is in the underpass leading into Strawberry. The place is riddled with rats, mice, various other lingering filth. Those who surround the community are without a doubt homeless, trying to push through their own struggles and demons, most having quite a few faults as they go through their day. First thing's first, find some sort of mesh or clothing like a large oversized jacket or tarp, you can start off by making a small little makeshift shelter from some rope or something to hold the tarp and a few boxes you could find. If you have a tent? Amen, you're in luck, the tent will be your holy ground, that is where you can store most of your stuff unless the other homeless around decide to ransack the tent for their own need and greed. The turf as said above is under the Strawberry overpass. If you're homeless, this is your turf, at least should be, there's also another large square of land under the highway leading into Mirror Park... it rests just beside the Mission Row Police Department. With every area there's a large barrel that's often filled with news paper, rummaged about sticks, ruined clothing or something that can burn that's super cheap or most likely free and found on the ground. This is all to keep yourself warm and suitable for harsh conditions, if there's anything to burn that is, you might have to try and rough it out inside an abandoned building or inside your tent if it isn't already beaten to bits. What is homelessness? Homelessness is an extreme form of poverty characterized by the instability of housing and the inadequacy of income, health care supports and social supports. This definition includes people who are absolutely homeless (those living on the streets, sometimes referred to as "rough sleepers"); shelter dwellers (people staying temporarily in emergency shelters or hostels); the "hidden homeless" (people staying temporarily with friends or family). When people lose their housing, they often move in temporarily with friends or family, a practice known as "couch surfing". If the option of moving in with friends and/or family is not (or is no longer) available because of weak social capital or a lack of steady income, many people will stay in temporary emergency shelters, or end up absolutely homeless. Emergency shelters exist in medium- and large-sized urban centers, but are not generally available in rural areas and small towns, meaning that most will eventually be at loss and fend for themselves. If they are able to generate money, people who experience homelessness may rent motel rooms, move into rooming houses, or with friends, temporarily. Others will sleep "rough" in parks, along alleyways, on rooftops, or under bridges. Most people who are homeless move through a variety of temporary and unstable living situations, which makes generating income, maintaining health, keeping safe, nurturing healthy relationships and obtaining permanent housing extremely challenging. Homelessness, then, is not defined strictly by an absolute lack of shelter (though this is the most obvious manifestation of it), but rather by the intersection of a range of social exclusionary factors that exacerbate poverty, limit opportunities and create barriers to full participation in society. Mental Health People with poor mental health are more susceptible to the three main factors that can lead to homelessness: poverty, disaffiliation, and personal vulnerability. Because they often lack the capacity to sustain employment, they have little income. Delusional thinking may lead them to withdraw from friends, family and other people. This loss of support leaves them fewer coping resources in times of trouble. Mental illness can also impair a person’s ability to be resilient and resourceful; it can cloud thinking and impair judgment. For all these reasons, people with mental illness are at greater risk of becoming homeless. Homelessness, in turn, amplifies poor mental health. The stress of being homeless may exacerbate previous mental illness and encourage anxiety, fear, depression, sleeplessness and substance use. The needs of homeless people with mental illnesses are similar to those without mental illnesses: physical safety; education; transportation; affordable housing; and, affordable medical/dental treatment. When providing care to people who are homeless, it is essential to create a non-threatening and supportive atmosphere, address basic needs (e.g. food and shelter), and provide accessible care. People with mental illness remain homeless for longer periods of time and have less contact with family and friends. 30-35 percent of homeless people, in general, and up to 75 percent of homeless women specifically, have a mental illness. 20-25 percent of homeless people suffer from concurrent disorders (severe mental illness and addictions). People who have a severe mental illness are over-represented in the homeless population, as they are often released from hospitals and jails without proper community supports in place. Substance Use The relationship between substance use and homelessness is complex. While rates of substance use are disproportionately high among the homeless population, homelessness cannot be explained by substance use alone. The use of substances alone does not necessarily signal addiction, nor a harmful or problematic lifestyle. In addition, many people who are addicted to substances never become homeless, but an individual that is experiencing housing instability, often due to low income, has an increased risk of losing their housing if they use substances. Once on the streets, an individual with substance use issues has little chance of getting housing as they face insurmountable barriers to obtaining health care, including substance use treatment services. The term "substance use" refers to all types of drug and alcohol use. It is used in place of the traditional label of "drug abuse" which perpetuates social stigma and judgement and can marginalize and alienate people from the supports they need. The term "use" signals a push to reduce the harms for all users - from the person who uses drugs or alcohol occasionally, to someone who has a serious addiction. The term "substance", rather than drugs, better reflects the full range of psychoactive substances including alcohol, cigarettes, illegal drugs, prescription drugs, solvents, and inhalants that are habit-forming. (Most of your homeless characters should have some sort of fault, causing an issue per day or an issue that can make your daily obstetrical more difficult) The potential harms associated with the use of substances are many. This includes pharmacological effects of the substance itself that may impair a person’s ability to safely and competently make decisions and carry out tasks that they engage in. Problematic substance use may lead to deteriorating health; accidental death; and increased chances of risky sexual behaviors. Other harms that may result from problematic use of substances include: the inability to work or stay in school, ruptured relations with family, friends and community members, and problems with the law. People who live on the streets and engage in substance use face many risks, one of which is difficulty obtaining and maintaining employment and housing. The frequency of such problems suggests the potential viability of harm reduction programs that provide a safe environment for stabilization to clients who are unable to maintain abstinence. Transitional housing is frequently recognized as an approach to addressing substance use problems, and is often provided through emergency shelters and supportive recovery facilities. Often though, these housing options require abstinence in order to accept clients. The result is that many people fail to qualify, and remain on the streets or in environments that are not conducive to addressing their substance use problems. And even if they do complete treatment, because of a lack of supported housing options, once they are discharged from hospital or treatment center, many people with substance use issues have no place to live, a situation which puts their recovery in jeopardy. Here are some of the complications that your average street dwellers and or struggling persons are most concerned about on a daily basis: • the constant search for temporary shelter • inadequate food and nutrition • shortage of appropriate clothing • harassment and physical assault • inadequate medial services • negative or low self-esteem • social isolation • development of mental health and/or substance abuse problems • poor prospects for employment and appropriate permanent housing

  8. They're not entirely wrong! 1. Detailed Description As someone who has a character working in an Ammu-Nation, I find the selection of general items, and self-defense weapons really lackluster, generally, if you're lucky at peak times, you'll get a few customers wanting to buy ammunition for their already acquired pistols, it's generally an interaction that's a little rushed (Not the case for everyone but it happens) And what you end up with is having maybe 3-5 minutes of player interaction. If you're lucky, you get more than that. Yes, the argument that you could spend the rest of that time cleaning countertops, mopping the floor, sorting ammo, cleaning guns - All of it is valid. However that is all said and done, what I think would bring more roleplay to Ammu-Nation stores would be to have more choice in what people get to buy. How about using this as an opportunity to add functional items for hunters, which in turn would not only increase the interest in hunting but also increase Ammu-Nation's popularity with hunters? How about the various knives that pawnshops get to sell? Why can't a store specifically made around selling weapons get to sell knives? No, that is absolutely not going to result in "Everyone carrying a knife" either. A lockpick costs more than a certain pistol at an Ammu-Nation store, so do the aforementioned knives. If people really want something, they will get it regardless. 2. Relevant Commands/Items Here are a few items that would be really good to add: Batons: https://gta5-mods.com/weapons/classic-wooden-baton https://gta5-mods.com/weapons/asp-baton Knives: Knife Switchblade Others: Knuckleduster Hunting Equipment: Flare Gun/Flares https://gta5-mods.com/scripts/binocularsv https://gta5-mods.com/scripts/thermal-vision Ammunition types w/ REQUIRED license: (I know. PD already has this, so very unlikely that it might even get considered, but here goes nothing. Merely suggesting this shouldn't discredit the whole thread, however.): Pistol rubber-ball ammunition: Causes 3 points of damage and makes the screen of the person who has been shot shaky and blurry momentarily. Doesn't knock them out, as opposed to PD's, but disorients them enough. Miscellaneous: Various food items would add a little layer of realism. When you go hunting, for example, you don't go there without packing food first unless you want to hunt whilst being groggy. 3. How will it benefit the server? Honestly? More actual roleplay first and foremost. Yeah, anyone right now can go ahead and roleplay getting a few Ammu-Nation branded snacks and a hunting vest at their local gun store. The question is, will they do it? Most likely not, if it's not an actual item. So what's my argument? IMO, You need things to be more available if you want people to be interested in something. This isn't about making guns accessible to everyone, this is about bringing a semblance of choice in the matter. It's the same reason a lot of RP events are empty if they don't include a prize at the very least. Secondly, this adds more depth, in my opinion, depth is always welcome and encourages interactions. I feel like Ammu-Nation stores are effectively treated as a big [BUY GUN / BUY AMMO] button, and I feel like a 24/7 corner store has more roleplay around it. More items to get would mean the businesses would get more attention. I'm sure there are a lot of gun enthusiasts who would love to converse with other people while buying supplies, I've seen it happen. But unfortunately, that doesn't happen nearly as enough as it should in an RP server. [END OF SUGGESTION] Here are my arguments for some of these additions: The problem with these types of suggestions would be the potential misuse of said additions. I strongly believe that if someone wants to abuse a feature/item/command, they will. There is no preventing them if they put enough dedication and that works with anything, but there IS the possibility of stopping it, as well as making it extremely inconvenient for them to do so if they succeed. Flare Gun/Flares I know what the assumption will be: "Every gang banger will buy this and use them for robbery and setting each other on fire!") - Maybe, yes. So, how about modifying the weapon stat files in order to make it so that it doesn't set things/people on fire? Flare guns are extremely useful, especially if you want to scare off animals. Besides, if someone uses a flare gun in a shoot-out against a live firearm? Congratulations to them, they're officially not only breaking the fear RP rules, and people will gladly report them for it, but they will also get absolutely obliterated by the opposing party with the actual firearms in hand. You can also get around the issue of it being accessible to everyone by making this weapon only available to those with a valid hunting license. - Thermal vision: Yeah, this is definitely far fetched- But hey, these are expensive in real life, it could also be these in-game, as well as needing a hunting license for nerfing purposes- Yes, these are sold to everyone IRL, but that argument does not seem to work here much. It needs nerfing if it is to be ever added. Make these 60k-80k or even 100k legal for example, and they'll be sold 200k in the black market. It's ridiculous, but hey don't use this in the hood, it's unrealistic, you'll probably get reported and punished for wearing 200k+ thermal vision goggles for a shootout with your illegal 25k pistol. On the other hand, for people who actually want to go hunting in the night? This is an absolute blessing. Rubber ball ammunition: Simple, If people really want to use this ammunition type to rob people, honestly? Be my guest. I'd rather get shot by this than a live round. This is most likely not going to save your life if the other party has a firearm with lethal ammunition, so it'd often be recommended to carry lethal ammunition with you as well. La fin Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and the idea that I am presenting is not perfect, I am very conscious of that and treat my suggestions as mere baselines for discussions, if you feel like something should be added to this suggestion, please let me know so I can potentially add it here, I'd be more than happy. It is your absolute right to not agree with this suggestion or with a comment, however, if you do please remain respectful at the very least when disagreeing.
  9. I'd like to know how a Narcotics Anonymous-themed rehabilitation RP would work out on the server and am willing to start/partake in one. I always saw characters (legal or illegal) who abuse drugs & my past character roleplay attending NA meetings, which was always a solo thing and for RP/developmental purposes mostly showcased on forum screenshots. I'd like to see how many people would support roleplay like this and how many would take part simply for the sake of enhancing drug RP and its aftermath and how willing server administration would be in assisting this. P.S. Apart from all the benefits from a roleplay activity of this kind, it would be one of the rare in-game occurrences where legal and illegal characters would cross paths in active roleplay, I'd like everyone who'd consider this idea to also keep this in mind.
  10. ELENA LUMIERE Appearance Personality Traits -White -Stubborn -Female -Kind -Red hair -Humble -Brown eyes -Ambitious -160lbs -Gentle -Medium Fit -Critical & Analysing Character background Elena Lumiere, daughter of a nurse and a surgeon. The girl who found herself in Los Santos as a student that was sinking in college loan, homeless and studying under a light at the PD station. Her story begins in Paris, France 2010. That year was the year that shaped her forever. A terrorist attack led by a terrorist organization, left her without family. It was the year she was supposed to go to high school. The only family she had left was her uncle in Japan. He took her in during the three years of her high school. She then was offered a scholarship in LS, from the ULSA, to study Psychology. Thinking that a rising opportunity she accepted it. After the first year, she started spending what she had planned to last for 6 years. Well here is the problem. She was not even close to what she thought living in LS would cost her. At the end of the 2nd year of BA, she was completely dry and forced to take student loans. Yet she thought it’s fine. “I can work a job or two, and survive” she told herself. Well no! It was more like three or four jobs. Nobody would give a student full payment. In game events. Career Elena was close to finish her studies for Phd in Psyhcology, and all needed was on last push. Lucky for her, the restaurant owner she worked at, knew a person who would hire Elena. That person is doctor Shalimar Joy, owner of Hope Health Clinic. Elena worked there as an intern until she finished studies, and after that she had begun to work full time. Having all her sacrifices pay out, Elena finally had a stable job as a psychologist at the clinic. Didn't take long before she become one of the most valuable and productive members of the team. She devoted her life to helping people who struggled with mental health issues. After being witness to so many people in need for mental health counseling she thought of having more assistance and work on a big project. One month later she applied for a vacancy in the government as psychologist. She was the lucky one out of many people who applied for the job position and get accepted. When everyone else failed the application she successfully nailed it. To this day she is yet the only Psychologist who was successful in the government application, probably due to her outstanding performance or setting the bar too high for anyone else who wishes to join. Anyway, after successfully joining the government she immediately jumped into action. She began developing a campaign to raise awarness for mental health. With the assistance of Hope Health Clinic, and also with the help of the government she launched her campaign. She is now granted permission to use the Western District Hall to hold seminars. She is holding classes and inviting people on an open doors meeting with the community, where she educates and informs people about mental health, and helps them overcome their problem at the best of her abilities. Lately the government has been in a dormant state and it's starting to worry Elena for her future a little bit. Personal life, Friends and Family After finally having a stable career, she had some time to spare for herself. During her time working for the government, she met with a guy from the finance department called Marcus Cambridge. They've spent a lot of time together these past months and only recently, Elena moved in to live with Marcus at his house in Mirror Park. They are currently in love and looking towards the future. One of her best friends turned out to be the woman who hired her, Shalimar Joy. They're both quite busy with work, but never lose sight of each other, trying to find ways to spend more time out of work together with more and more friends. Another friend she treasures is Daquan and also his girlfriend Tracy. Despite being like a third wheel when around those two, she never felt like one. They're really kind and care for each other. The future of this character will be posted in the form of screenshots but the text will updated.
  11. "Good luck in most cases comes through the misfortune of others." Jackie Stewart Motorsport can not be confused with street racing. Motorsport is a type of sport in which high talented drivers and enthusiats compete in race built machinery and test their limits on a controlled environment with rules, safety standards and organisation. San Andreas Motorsports - Hitting the Apex is going to show the path to glory and the issues our drivers and teams may find on their way to achieve success. With the upcoming events that are going to take place in Los Santos, this thread is the best place to present to the community what our members and drivers go through during events and during the preparation to it. SAN ANDREAS SPORTSCAR CHAMPIONSHIP This event is the pinnacle of San Andreas Motorsport, the event has eight teams with sixteen drivers competing on GT3 spec cars. One of the most expensive events in San Andreas, all teams are backed by wealthy and known local companies and with full broadcast of the Los Santos News Networks. These drivers compete for the glory of becoming tne next Pfister Super Cup Champion, the highest prize a professional driver can receive in San Andreas. AUTONATION KANJO CUP This league is the entry level series for San Andreas Motorsports. Supporting the main event of the Pfister Super Cup, the aspiring star drivers compete on race-ready Dinka Kanjos, the perfect machinery to provide fair racing and a good learning curve to one day get a chance to drive in the main event. With the capacity of having twenty drivers at once on track, it's the best place to showcase your skills to the bigger teams and you may even end up with a contract signed by the end of the season. OOC NOTE This thread was made to showcase the roleplay of our teams, staff and members to the community. The main goal is to demonstrate that it is possible to present high roleplay within motorsport events and introduce high standards that makes sure all of our events and leagues are as realistic as possible. Being a member of this community requires respect to the server rules and extensive research on motorsport roleplay and how to portray it in Los Santos. The pictures posted here are not necessarily in chronologic order but will show the development, struggles and success of our drivers within the leagues we manage and take part. Only members of the San Andreas Motorsports group are allowed to post screenshots. If you want to be part of the events, all recruitment and registration of teams and staff is done in character without any exception. (( PM @joaoivis if you have questions ))
  12. This discussion thread aims at putting forward the community's ideas for businesses. Here are some optional questions to help set the tone: 1) - What sort of business do you find yourself wanting more of on GTA World? 2) - What types of businesses aside from clubs and bars would make the city feel less empty in your opinion? 3) - Are you pleased with the current state of the GTA World business scene? 4) - Do we need more server-owned businesses with some ''RPG'' elements to them? Or are player-owned businesses strictly the best option, or would a mix of both be better? 5) - Should businesses/companies move towards the county? Do you believe this would increase county RP's popularity? Whether or not you answer those questions, feel free to leave your business ideas below so that people might be more encouraged and share your thoughts!
  13. A GUIDE TO VINEWOOD & MEDIA PRODUCTION During my two and a half years on the server I noticed that a lot of people want more of a celebrity presence in LS, and while this (sortof) exists in the form of long-lasting characters, or funny niche characters, or characters who are known for being a bartender at every club, it isn’t really formed in the right way. These are more so OOC celebrities passed through word of mouth on discord or by seeing a character’s name tag a lot, not because your character sees them as a celebrity in their world. Of course, someone can’t just create a character and start their story as an A-List movie star when no one has ever heard of them before. It just wouldn’t work in a GTA:W setting where characters constantly change, many characters being changed every couple of months. So really, the only way to generate some kind of celebrity status is to start small and build up the fame status organically. That’s where this guide comes in. I graduated university with a degree in Media Production and have explored various avenues of this on GTA:W before, but that doesn’t mean I know everything, so if there’s anything you would like added to this guide just comment on the thread or drop me a Forum PM and i’ll update it. I just want to see more of an authentic LS (LA) atmosphere full of the creative hipsters the GTA 5 story mode does such a good job of emulating. VINEWOOD BACKGROUND It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Vinewood is Rockstar’s interpretation of Hollywood, an area of Los Angeles bursting with wannabe actors, directors, editors, models, musicians, blah blah, you name it. Not only that, but it is often home to more affluent neighbourhoods and businesses, such as high-end fashion stores, luxury hotels and busy nightclubs. Like mentioned previously, it’s a hipster’s wet dream. If you wish to RP someone wanting to make it big in the entertainment industry, I suggest roleplaying them by being obsessed with this enclosed “culture” of creativity and fame. A lot of people are desperate to just get their foot in the door, while doing menial and dead-end jobs in the meantime to sustain them as they set out to achieve their dreams. This is naturally going to be a different story depending on the character you’re aiming to portray. Unfortunately, Vinewood doesn’t have the same influence in GTA:W as Hollywood does IRL, obviously. That goes without saying and it will remain that way even if multiple people start to RP it. However, Vinewood within the GTA lore is an influential area and would likely make up a large amount of San Andreas’ economy and tourism if it was functioning properly. Bare this in mind if you plan on RPing this concept - your character would have to be very, very, very lucky to get into a high-end production straight off the bat. Or if they are a director, they won’t be producing the next blockbuster, and a musician won’t be instantly playing at the biggest club/concert in town. It’s very much a rags to riches story that only a handful of people actually succeed in. With that in mind, don’t be scared to start small. When I made the Paleto Boys (a jackass inspired film) on the server, it was just me and two other dudes. MEDIA PRODUCTION So you have a character, an entertainment industry related goal and a few ideas up your sleeve. This is when things go from IC to OOC. Unfortunately, just roleplaying the production of something usually isn’t enough to grab the rest of the server’s attention. Not only do people want to see an actual finished product, but it’s better RP all around when the collaboration leads to something you can share. However, a lot of people get intimidated at this stage because they haven’t tried filming game footage before, or they haven’t used editing software or have no idea how to use Menyoo. This is what stops people from getting involved in a lot of cases, so hopefully this guide can provide some insight on what to do and how to do it so more people can get involved with the scene. FILMING OOC TECHNIQUES A lot of people think that you have to use menyoo to get any footage that looks remotely good. This takes a lot of time and takes away from the collaboration of doing it on the server. Menyoo is a great tool if you wish to use it, but this guide will be more focused on how to film things within the server itself, as there’s already plenty of menyoo tutorials out there. Not only that, but filming within the server can be beneficial RP for everyone and not just those involved in the production. The production company could hire people to block the roads where a specific scene is being filmed and on-lookers can see this while they walk through the street and watch it happen. This is something that happens IRL especially in places like LA, and will add even more of an authenticity to the state we’re trying to base our world off of. This goes without saying but any screen recording software is capable of doing this. The one I personally use is the geforce experience overlay, it’s easy to use and most people have a Nvidia graphics card. To bring up the overlay, just press Alt + Z. All recording and screenshot settings can be found in there as well as keybindings for recording (default: Alt + F9 to start recording, then again to stop recording). The footage automatically saves to your PC’s videos folder, or any other file destination if you change the settings to suit yourself. Now the software is out of the way, the fun itself begins. The main technique is the GTA 5 first-person view, then pressing F7 to remove the GTA:W chatbox and name tags. Now you are viewing the server through what would be the camera’s lens. However, the first person view is very limited on it’s own, so this is why we use the server provided animations. The ones I have frequently used are /anim liedown1 and /anim crouched1, as they give the first person perspective a lower angle, for example: https://streamable.com/ezgbeo Another option is to climb up onto in-game structures and buildings, giving you a higher up perspective. Just make sure to RP this - potentially falling off the structure while filming can be a funny situation to change things up a bit. If the shot still isn’t working for you, you can go into the game’s settings and adjust the first person camera field of view. This is easily done. While it doesn’t change much, it’s enough to make a difference and could transform a shot into something better. To film moving shots, you can use the /walk anim while in first person and it will create a smooth movement similar to that used in films when they pan a camera. It can be a bit glitchy at times but that’s just the nature of it and the number one thing you will need OOC is a little bit of patience. IC INFORMATION AROUND FILMING This is the most important part as obviously we are all on the server for the IC aspect, otherwise we would just be filming on another server or on GTA:O. A lot of people are unaware of the processes that go into filming and just how much time and organization is behind it. CREW STRUCTURE In blockbuster films/bigger productions: Producer: In charge of keeping everything organised. The paperwork person. Responsible for organizing filming dates, time, making sure equipment is available/booked, actors are looked after, etc. Director: More often than not the director will also be the writer. In very big productions they might be separate roles but in a RP setting this is unlikely. They have a clear vision of how they want the film to look in their head and will work directly with the Director of Photography to bring this to life. Writes shot lists, holds auditions for actors, etc. Works directly with the actors on filming days. Director of Photography: Might be a separate person or just the director depending on the size of production. Works alongside the director to decide on how they’re going to film a specific scene, what camera they will use, whether to use close ups, mid-shots, etc. Camera operator: Is responsible for the actual shooting of the film. Script Supervisor/Set team: Responsible for how the set looks and ensuring it matches up with the script and the writer's vision. Will make sure everything looks good between shots, including the actor's hair, make up, etc. Actor: Self-explanatory. Plays a character in the film. Often encouraged to put their own unique spin on things. Video editor: Takes the footage and puts it all together at the end. Adds any vfx or colour grading. Sound designer: Works on the soundtrack, sound effects, etc. Works alongside a video editor to turn the footage into an enjoyable film. In independent companies and short film productions, usually one person will take on several roles. For example, the director, producer, and editor may be all one person. Bigger companies, especially those on a Vinewood level, would aim to have a separate person for each role and even assistant sub-roles. Directors will often create a clear dialogue with the actors. It won’t be entirely just shooting scenes and working with them directly that way. There will be communications on the side too, such as having small meetings to discuss what’s going well, any challenges faced, any ideas the actors may have, etc. This is just another avenue of RP that could be very interesting but often overlooked and not thought about. FILMING DAY These are heavily structured in a professional Vinewood setting and even in Indie settings. The crew usually agrees on a time and date and everything they wish to achieve in that time will be already planned out by the producer. Usually all would go in one vehicle to the filming location, most likely a company van that can accommodate everyone and the equipment. For films shot on a set, the actors just show up to work and may have their own trailers to relax in when they’re not needed. There is usually a risk assessment carried out before filming days to consider all the potential risks that come with filming and to ensure employee safety. Contracts would be signed with the actors too prior to this. One last thing to bare in mind is that filming days are getting longer and longer in the industry, perhaps not in an independent company but in Vinewood, people can be working 13-15 hours a day close to the deadlines. This can be an interesting avenue of RP, perhaps roleplaying a corporate production company CEO who cares more about getting the film released than the work rights of the actors and film crew, or someone who is a victim of this. There’s more to it than showing up and standing in front or behind a camera for a few hours then heading home. EQUIPMENT A subject often overlooked when roleplaying media production on GTA:W, since there’s no requirement to buy anything scriptly to record things and all the lighting is done for you by the game engine. But to RP this authentically, there are several things to consider, especially if you want to realistically RP a budget for the film production. Equipment can either be owned by a company or individual, or rented (usually in indie productions it is rented). A camera, obviously. These can vary from simple DSLR or mirrorless cameras all the way to the big production cameras you see on traditional film sets. Doing research about this is a must to create immersion for everyone you are RPing with. Lens often come separately to the cameras and are attached as of when they’re needed. Lighting equipment. These are usually LED lights with plastic gel sheets that go over the light to change the colouring of it. Can also be tungsten lights, which are warm light and often used to replicate the sun. Obviously you won’t have to do anything with this IC but it’s good to RP setting them up as though they were having an effect, or if using an indoor set, you can use furniture items to make the room brighter or have a specific colour to it. Generator. If you’re shooting outside with no power sockets in sight, a generator may be needed to provide power to the lighting equipment or charge up equipment. This is usually in extreme cases where the shooting location is in the middle of nowhere. Microphones. The most commonly used microphone in a film setting is the boom mic, the ones on a long pole with the furry covering. The furry covering is there to block out wind noises so the microphone only picks up what we want it to. Another type of microphone you might use is the Lavalier mic. These are essentially the clip on microphones with their own battery pack. Which you use depends on budget and context. POST-PRODUCTION AND EDITING Visuals Not going to touch much on this as for most, if not all, editing software has plenty of tutorials available on Youtube already, however I will recommend using Davinci Resolve, or if you can afford it/get a cracked version, Premiere Pro. Davinci Resolve is free and very beginner friendly. The editing is most likely the biggest part of the production as this is the section where you take it from everyday game footage and turn it into something cinematic or funny or thought-provoking or all of the above. Don’t be afraid to experiment with it and to mostly have fun with it since it is still just a game. It doesn’t have to be the perfect edit theoretically or even practically, just something substantial enough for the rest of the server to see it and think “hold on a minute, that’s pretty cool, i’ll support this.” Sound Probably the hardest part of the whole production as it’s near impossible to get people willing to act in game as well as to do voice acting OOC for the sake of the production. If you can get some like-minded people who aren’t afraid to voice act then perfect, but unfortunately this is rare, so I recommend taking audio from pre-existing videos on youtube and adding it to your content to bring a bit more life to it, if the context works. For example, when I do BMX edits, I will find audio from IRL BMX edits and place this in the edit to give the video more authenticity and life. Music/soundtrack is something to consider before you even start editing. The music should dictate the pace of the editing, not the other way around, only in rare circumstances should you edit without the music in that moment already decided. FINISHED PRODUCT - NOW WHAT? So now you have a video to share. You’ve worked on it for OOC months and maybe even IC years, you’ve had some good RP from it and now you want to do something with it. The first step is to find a pre-existing company that specializes in showing film, most notably is the Doppler Cinema or any variety of that. Working out a deal with them to showcase your film and getting a cut is usually the way that companies wanting to get big in the industry go. Smaller, independent companies may just share their work on YouTube and other social media sites (in this case, Facebrowser). They may submit their work to short film festivals or competitions, assuming the IC government or other IC businesses starts to facilitate those who wish to RP the entertainment industry. Hell, maybe you could start your own short film festivals where you can share your own work and other people’s work. At the end of the day, this is the part where media production and fame meets, and the only way to increase that fame is to continue putting your projects out there. Happy to write in more detail about anything mentioned here if anyone is wanting to get into the scene and not sure where to start, forum PMs are always open. Have fun with it and really don’t be intimidated to at least give it a go. Here’s some examples of what has been created entirely in-game through the methods mentioned above: https://streamable.com/696qsx Check out Torwald Pictures as well for a few menyoo examples.

  15. Hello everyone! The previous topic I made (HERE) was made in a rushed manner, and I had it locked when it became horribly outdated. With the new fishing update, maritime has gotten a big overhaul and I feel like a topic like this is warranted. It is important in that the community as a whole is able to give their input about this niche subject of roleplay in roder for us all to improve on the matter! People will be able to leave their feedback here, negative and positive. Just please be courteous; no bashing or nameshaming! ❤️ Before the fishing update, the Maritime sector was, quite literally, dead. We ofcourse had the Los Santos Marina Yacht Club, but that was about it. Their purpose was to provide a home and a roleplay environment around yacht ownership, which was and still is an amazing concept. But before the fishing update, this was the only Maritime activity we had. When the fishing update was deployed, the Tug saw its major entry for real into the maritime sector! Yes, its been in the server for a while, but this was the first time a boat was given a functional purpose. This made way for the Maritime sector to florish, and boy did it florish! The waters are more active than ever, even now after the big hype has calmed down a bit. We also saw the first introduction of the first real Maritime orientated business; Seo-Hee Min's Maritime (yes, self promote much?). This business is focussed on providing a roleplay environment around an actual naval business model for both legal and illegal roleplayers. What do you think about the current maritime improvements? What could be improved? What do you think should be long and short term plans? Personally, I saw the fishing update as a good basis to expand further on. It was a great addition, but there is much more that can be done. There are countless suggestions that deserve their attention for this sector, which will be linked below. So go ahead! Post up your opinion, your view, your feedback on this topic. Lets see what we can accomplish together with this. Add Marine VHF Radio Fix the fish selling point at Paleto Bay More low-end affordable boats. /Depositfish & /Withdrawfish Cruise control for tugs and bigger boats Make Tug fishing more profitable Add a boating license Fish Deliveries unrealistic & some changes for the Tug boat Add a depth indicator for boats. Add an official Maritime Authority Fishing Improvements Seo-Hee Min's Maritime San Andreas Park Rangers The Port of Los Santos
  16. Maritime Discussion Mega Thread --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone! This is a discussion topic I've made for the Maritime RP in the server. Any input from the entire server is appreciated! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ So, with the summer coming, there will be a fair bit of players going into the maritime sector again like last summer. However, with the new 1.1 version of RageMP and the 1.1 update of GTA:World, the sync on the water has been significantly improved. One of the things improved; you can stand on moving boats! There have already been a few new companies rising up to do sea-bound roleplay, but there has still been a lack of illegal RP in my opnion. So lets discuss a few things. - What do you think about the current state maritime RP is in? - How do you think it can be improved? - How would both Legal and Illegal factions benefit from potential changes? - And any extra input you have For easy navigation, I have included a few links to current maritime involved companies and factions: ⛵⚓ Los Santos Marina Yacht Club | "Upward & Windward" ⛵⚓ Aswell as suggestions (do not discuss those here): New supplier for components: Fish hauling Allow furnishing in vehicle interiors Add Marine VHF radio Add More Boats Discuss! 🙂
  17. So your character just got CK'd and you changed the name to start over... but you have properties and cars left over from your previous character. How do you RP the properties? Do you sell them before you start or incorporate them in some way?
  18. Short description: Add a command like /melow but /meloud, which'll double the /me command radius. Detailed description: Sometimes a player who might be far away from my chat distance wants to perform an action, maybe a larger radius of players should be aware of the /me I'm performing (eg - Police shooting teargas during riots, fellow player performs some action over the other side of the road, etc etc. Commands to add: /meloud - longer range for /me (eg: /meloud shoots a teargas round to the riot crowd) /doloud - longer range for /do (eg: /do the teargas round near misses John Doe and starts to spread) Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? People will have better roleplay experience. Additional information: Cleared all of it basically. Self explains also.
  19. Ok I don't know if I should be posting this on here but here goes. It seems that for a lot of my characters I have good concepts for them but when I actually make them I suddenly don't even know what to do with them. I don't know if I'm just not doing something right or I'm just desperate for roleplay. Any advice that can be given to me?

    Ped skins?

Is there no way to rolplay with a ped skin anymore? Can't seem to find them, have they been removed? and if so is that permanent?
  22. Short description: Faction voice chat should be removed because its a detriment to the roleplay experience, i propose a alternative that captures 90% of the dynamics VC is supposed to solve. Detailed description: Currently, Voice chat is implemented for the PD faction to assist in chases. However there exist a solution that solves this in a purely TEXT based manner. The UI script of the PD player shows the street he's in. I don't see why' its not possible to broadcast these street information in a TAC TEXT channel along with a cardinal direction and or speed of the lead vehicle or the centroid average of a cluster of PD cruisers. Its not supposed to be GPS and recognizing street names requires spatial awareness the exact same skills as what a normal VC would require. This is what VC is supposed to solve anyway. Commands to add: Not sure Items to add: Not sure. How would your suggestion improve the server?, It would lay to rest this issue once and for all in a satisfying way. Additional information:
  23. Hey, there. Of course I know what /me is, generally. The short description of it is, /me is used to describe actions, right? After some time on the server, I have met several different type of roleplayers, and I usually judge their roleplay quality by, one, their spellings and punctuations, and two, the amount of /me's and how detailed it is. But, after I've seen a thread in Player's Guide, it's said that the longer the sentence is not always the best as it can be wordy. Examples of /me's in situations shaking hands *Thomas smiles gently towards Scott as he extends his right arm towards Scott, expecting a handshake. * Thomas offers a handshake to Scott, smiling towards Scott. (Which one is preferred?) Aside from GTA World, I also roleplay on an RP server on FiveM as an LEO (voice), I once asked the admins why their /me's are not required to be long? They said, "We have animations and scripts that support roleplays therefore we don't need to make /me's long just make them as short as possible, so we don't spend the whole time RPing by typing those /me's" On the said FiveM server, when we drink- we eat or anything that can be done via animation, we don't use me— we would simply play the animation and the animations are dynamic. Examples that we use /me's on the FiveM server, * John takes out info, and hands it over. * Thomas takes the info. * Thomas slings AR. * Thomas checks pulse. * Thomas grabs first aid kit. I agree that the /me's is too short and not that detailed, which I can separate the way I RP when on GTA World and on the FiveM server, but one thing I'm thinking that I would be implementing to my RP in GTA World is the using of animation. Instead of * Thomas rests his palm on the counter | /anim counterleanbar4 * Thomas takes a seat on the chair, smiling towards Scott then he says "Please take a seat" | /anim sitchair15, /ame smiles, "Please take a seat" (Which one is preferred?) I'm not saying GTA World or the FiveM server is right or wrong, but my question and discussion here is, what's the most effective way of using /me's and in what case that /me's is not necessary on GTA World?
  24. First off, if this has been suggested already, I'm sorry. I looked through posted suggestions already and couldn't find anything. Short description: Allow established trucking companies to bypass the truck delivery restriction via company ranks. Detailed description: Before I go any further, I need need NEED to state that this is by no means meant to be available for regular trucker players. This is for COMPANY EMPLOYEES ONLY. What I'm suggesting here is that companies get an inscript ranking system to track who does what. Trainee, junior driver, experienced driver, trucker, senior trucker, and so forth. Company vehicles could be locked to ranks - said ranks which would be attained as in-character promotions. Depending on your rank, you can drive different vehicles. Commands to add: /setrank [ID] [RANK] - Sets an employee's rank in game. /ranks - Gives a general list of ranks and their restrictions in your current company. /setvrank [RANK] - sets a certain vehicle's minimum rank to be used by. Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? As of right now, trucking in a company barely feels any different to dock rent trucking, except you get paid a little more. For people like myself who want to roleplay an actual trucker character, and not just some grinder trying to make a ton of money to buy a ton of sports cars, it'll make the experience much more enjoyable and immersive from an IC standpoint. Much more roleplay opportunity will arise and you'll be able to develop your logistics journey via actual roleplay instead of how many script jobs you've tediously done. Additional information: Don't think much is needed. Also, commands might be a little wonky, I'm not quite sure how legal factions ranks work in game already.
