Statement on Paleto Bay Pier Boat Collision 2nd of July, 2023 LSFD Public Service Officer Olivia Warren ROCKFORD HILLS - This is an official statement issued by the Los Santos Fire Department's Community Liaison Office in response to the Paleto Bay Pier Boat Collision which occurred on the 1st of July. Statement Begins On the 1st of July 2023, at approximately 20:00 a distress signal was received by Los Santos County Lifeguards on the Vessel Traffic Service radio channel by a fishing ship. Lifeguard Tower One made contact with the vessel and received information that the vessel possibly crashed into a pier, just at the end of Procopio Promenade, and that it was stuck. Los Santos County Lifeguards' Baywatch Command dispatched Swiftwater Rescue 10 and Rapid Response Dinghy 12, and Fireboat 1 to investigate the scene while LSFD's Paleto Bay Station 1 dispatched Engine 1 for additional support and manpower. Upon arrival, Engine 1 arrived first and did their scene size up. They determined there was one occupant without injuries, and found the vessel without major structural damage, but stuck and unable to move away from the pier. The Paleto Bay Pier did not suffer any major damage from the collision. Additional units were dispatched for the recovery operation. Lifeguard 12, beach patrol unit was dispatched and helped carry out the water towing operation which concluded the incident. Fireboat 1 used its towing equipment to safely pull the beached ship off the pier and from shore, returning it to a safe place. Bellicose MMA Fights Showcasing Female and Male Warriors Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has emerged within San Andreas one of the most electrifying and inclusive combat sports of our time. In a recent event that captivated audiences worldwide, an exhilarating night of MMA fights showcased the prowess of female fighters, while the other took center stage with male warriors. This MMA event happened last Friday evening, June 2nd, 2023. This fight meant a lot to Lévesque, debuting in The Dome, in front of so many people. Main Event: Male Warriors Leave It All in the Octagon Joseph Yang vs Didac Fraga As the atmosphere reached a fever pitch, the spotlight shifted to the main event—an epic clash between two male warriors. Yang noticed the way Fraga moved in the first round and because of that he knew what to do, to beat Fraga. Yang expected more from Fraga. He said it was one of his easiest fights. Yang already said at the press conference “I’m not gonna drop a single round”. Round after round, the combatants showcased their versatility, transitioning seamlessly between various martial arts disciplines. Yang had a very good start to round one, where Fraga had to take a few hard blows. Fraga was close to coming back in the second round, until Yang hit Fraga straight in the stomach with a front kick. It was hard to breathe for Fraga, and Yang ended this main fight in a 3 - 0. Sandy Shores Tuesday, ‎January ‎26, ‎2021 at roughly 10 PM, the correspondent of Independent News Media was journalizing the aftermath of a G6 protests, collecting interviews from multiple witnesses who claim that G6 provoked the protesters and that the Sheriff's Department used tear-gas to disperse an allegedly peaceful protest. In America, whether you're a citizen or not, you have the right to assemble and make your voice heard as long as it is peaceful. If multiple allegations from witnesses are to be believed, the Sheriff's Department had violated the people's first amendment right of the United States Constitution. During one of the interviews, a man previously seen upset with the presence of news coverage, is seen getting off a motorcycle and sprinting directly towards the camera, presumably to attack. The corresponded, who was filming at the time, then dashed off and sprinted for their life until the interviewee rescued her. The corresponded plans to make a police report about the incident, at the time the identity of the attacker is unconfirmed, so are his affiliations with either the G6 or the Sheriff's department.
