Following Operation Maria, led by the Los Santos Sheriff's Department, a crushing blow was dealt to the Mexican Mafia prison gang. Six arrests were carried out in relation to this investigation over the course of May. Two leaders of the Mexican Mafia, Dominic "Devious" Ruelas (left) and George "Flippem" Palamino (right), indicted on charges of murder, racketeering and extortion. - Courtesy of the Los Santos Sheriff's Department A string of six arrests have been carried out over the month of May against the Los Santos County’s Mexican Mafia, a notorious prison gang that has influence across the entire western United States. The arrests include indictments of two leaders for the murder of a fellow gang member, and the arrests include four lower-level associates for the murder of a Law Enforcement Officer. These string of arrests follow a two-month long operation dubbed Operation Maria; an initiative undertaken by detectives and deputies working with Operation Safe Streets in the Los Santos Sheriff’s Department to cripple the Los Santos County’s chapter of the Mexican Mafia. The Mexican Mafia, also referred to as La eMe, is a large scale prison gang operating out of the Western United States. It has infiltrated many prison systems throughout the states of San Andreas, Arizona, Nevada and even federal penitentiary systems, according the office of the District Attorney of San Andreas, and has been in large-scale operation since the 70s. A sergeant who worked on Operation Maria’s task-force shared the gang’s hierarchical structure. “The Mexican Mafia's rather a council of leadership. You have multiple factions of it in different areas. These factions are known as mesas. … There are multiple made members, whom are either inside of our state prison systems or jail. “In our case, we have the Los Santos faction.” The operation started only two and a half months ago, according to the lead detective spearheading Maria’s task-force. “I hit the ground running, that's a good way of saying this. I had this case fall right into my lap, it was half luck, really.” The lead detective shared. “Amount of hours in overtime, surveillance, report writing, that was all done together…”, the lead detective shared. “Once it started going, it didn't really ever stop, you know? We'd built a web of E-S-Ws that [led to] our web of information snowball[ing].” The detectives of Operation Maria’s primary methods of investigation were through the use of ESW’s (Electronic Surveillance Warrants), which contains methods such as cell-phone tracing, wire-tapping, and recording and analyzing calls and texts through and from numbers of known affiliates. A sergeant who worked within Operation Maria added “This investigation and following indictment was a snowball of evidence and compilation. We took a faithful amount of time to build evidence and finally struck once we were ready. “[The lead detective], among our other investigators, worked tirelessly in order to achieve the indictment.” Operation Maria, a sergeant who works with the task force (left) and the lead detective behind the indictments (right). - Yunisa Delgado-Flores, May 22nd 2022 The lead detective shared one of the first steps leading up to the indictments, which kick started the investigation. “After liaising with Operation Safe Jails some, I'd gotten the phone of a high ranking member's - who we ended up charging later on, phone. Contraband cellphone.” The high ranking member in question is Dominic ‘Devious’ Ruelas, a longtime member of the Mexican Mafia and described “leader”, who is currently indicted alongside George “Flippem” Palomino, who also is a ‘leader’ according to the District Attorney’s office. They are both facing charges for first degree murder, racketeering and extortion. A press release was issued by the LS County District Attorney’s Office on May the 1st, where District Attorney Terenity Shwetz issued the following statement. The count of murder that Ruelas and Palomino was indicted for was for the death of Santos Ortega who, according to the lead detective of the Operation Maria taskforce, was “equal to to Palamino and Ruelas”, and a “long time member of The Mexican Mafia.” As of right now, neither the DA’s office nor law enforcement are at liberty to say the exact motives of the murder of Ortega. The arrests also include four of their “gunmen” – “gunmen” being the term used by Operation Maria’s lead detective to describe associates of the Mexican Mafia carrying out their orders on the streets. The gunmen were supposedly involved in the murder of a Los Santos police officer. “Through a placed wiretap on a vehicle, we were able to catch various Mexican Mafia associates committing the murder of a City Police Officer”, the detective spearheading Operation Maria shared. “The detective I'd had listening to that audio? Had the volume up too much, almost blew out his ear drums, they were shooting long arms” Long arms referencing large firearms, ranging from assault rifles to shot-guns. When questioned for a possible motive for the murder, the task-force was unable to give a comment due to the investigation being ongoing. However, the sergeant present stated that “We don't wanna question the policies or motives of the Officers present. We aren't sure of their policies. “Like I explained, we were aware that members of La eMe were violent. This just went to give us real, hardcore evidence of it.” The associated gunmen that have been arrested have not been identified to the Daily as of yet, nor the identity of the victim. April 15th 2021 “Most leaders are in solitary confinement, but they issue orders to members, who in turn issue orders to street gangs.”, the DA explained to the Daily in a written statement when asked how the gang holds presence on the streets of Los Santos. According from accounts both from law enforcement and the DA’s office, these two men and their gang have caused countless death to associates and subordinates of the Mexican Mafia and their rivals. Both the DA’s office and law enforcement personnel claim that the Mexican Mafia’s induction involves intimidation and murder, where an inmate who is groomed to join their ranks will have to commit and act of murder. The DA notes how freshly inducted inmates to the prison system will have to act in accordance to the Mexican Mafia’s rules. “If you do not play ball with the Mexican Mafia, they threaten to use their powerful influence on prison and jail yards to kill, and they do kill. To be made a member of the Mexican Mafia, you must murder.” The lead detective and a sergeant serving on behalf of Operation Maria notes how the recruitment process works for Mexican Mafia inductees. “A lot of these kids'll do something stupid and end up in our county jail system.”, the sergeant shared. “There, they'll be inducted by members of the Mexican Mafia into doing their bidding and extending their time in our county jail system. That's how a lot of people's lives get ruined. “They'll head into this because they're forced to and end up getting a life sentence.” The Los Santos Sheriff's Department at a scene. - Courtesy of Ashton Love of Paradise, October 15th 2021 “A key part of recruitment for the Mexican Mafia relies in training some of the younger Sureños that do serve time.”, the lead detective added. “They train 'em into cold, calculated, loyal killers.” The Sureños, translated to ‘Southerners’ from Spanish, are one of many gangs that work on behalf of the Mexican Mafia. From figures issued from the Los Santos Police Department in 2006, there were approximately 21,000 Sureño gang members in 400 different subsets across Los Santos County alone. There are many other gangs across Los Santos County that are subordinate to the Mexican Mafia. One of which is Mara Salvatrucha 13. David Skarbek, an associate professor of political science at Brown University who specializes in the research of criminal street gangs globally, wrote about how prison gangs govern in a 2011 journal titled Governance and Prison Gangs. In the journal, he referenced the Mexican Mafia’s operation extensively, as well as how gangs subservient to this gang marks themselves as affiliates through the number 13. The Mexican Mafia profiteers primarily off of extortion, both to gangs out in the streets as well as, according to the DA’s office, to legitimate businesses owned by law-abiding citizens of Los Santos county. “The Mexican Mafia extorts local businesses, other criminals, and generally collects most of their money from street gangs paying taxes. Local businesses are one target, and individuals adjacent to the gang life with large amounts of money are another.”, wrote the DA’s office. “They force gangs to pay them tax or face death.” Derek Skarbek detailed the tax process in more detail, saying how the Mexican Mafia has been known to use incarcerated members of local street gangs as hostages to coerce the gangs to pay taxes. “Incarcerated gang members become vulnerable hostages, and therefore can motivate Sureño gang members who might not anticipate future incarceration to pay taxes.” Skarberk wrote. “Phone calls to incarcerated Mexican Mafia associates that identify the entire gang—rather than particular gang members who have not paid taxes suggest that this plays an important role.“ The indictments against George “Flippem” Palomino and Dominic "Devious" Ruelas sees them both facing a total of 130 years in prison. The exact details as to how long their gunmen will be facing remains unknown, as the DA continues to construct a case against them. The lead detective noted the cut-throat nature of the syndicates politics, saying how “Instead of looking out for each other, these other guys were probably taking a look about how they could spin this for themselves, you know?” Because of this comment, as well as the nature of recruitment that this gang uses with how arrested gang members will often find themselves further entrenched in their service to a gang like the Mexican Mafia, the Daily questioned whether or not the members of the task force believe there will be an end to these types of gangs in our prisons. “Whilst what we did no doubt had an impact, the work doesn't stop here, and trust me- we know this.” The lead detective said in response. “We haven't stopped just 'cause we made a few high profile arrests, you know? Charleston St. Locos Salvatruchos 13 The CSLS13: GSLS13, an abbreviation for Goma Street Locos Salvatruchos 13, was a noted street gang in Vespucci, South West LS, formed via predominantly Central American ethnic minorities. The recent surge of gang activity within Goma Street derived from the return of local MS-13 affiliates. That being said, with the aid of these local affiliates, there’s been noted to be more unity amongst the ethnic minorities. As of recently, the area had been riddled with various key words and numerology belonging to the subset of the MS-13, such as; MS, MS-13, MS 13, MS X3, 13, and XIII. Ethnic minorities within the vicinity were noted flagging various affiliated colours such as blue and white. The new era: However, as of recently, a new era of the formerly known GSLS13 has been noted in Charleston Street. Formed now as the Charleston Street Locos Salvatruchos 13 which dates back recently to the arrival of Central Americans which were formerly inhabiting Tug Street. Many of the newer inhabitants in Charleston Street formerly resided within the vicinity of Vespucci and were later issued new contractual agreements as tenants with a rise in rent. This led to many Central Americans within the vicinity flocking to the newer housing project located on Charleston Street. As of recently, violence and brutality represents a centrepiece of the gang’s self identity and is used by higher ranking MS-13 affiliates for recruitment and discipline purposes. Crime against individuals flows from theft, battery, and assault to participating in narcotic sales. Method used, operational methods used as means for CSLS13 to maintain the gang’s notoriety. Furthermore, the CSLS13 affiliates are known for their wild and overprotective antics amongst their neighbourhood. OOC: Currently situated in Davis, Charleston Street. The Mara Salvatrucha (MS), also known by the alternatives names 'Las Dos Letras (The Two Letters)', Trece Diecenueve (Thirteen Nineteen) or simply La Mara is a large and brutally violent Salvadoran street gang that was formed in Little Seoul, Los Santos in the early 1980's under the name 'Mara Salvatrucha Stoners'. They were originally a relatively peaceful group who were more about good times, peace and fun than anything to do with violence. They were what was at the time called a 'Party Crew'. However, during much of the 1980's and early 1990's the Mara Salvatrucha were targeted by local street gangs, this caused various instances of interethnic clashes, most of which dragged on for years. This caused somewhat of a divide between Salvadorans and Mexicans in the Los Santos area. When the inter-ethnic clashes of the 1980's and early 1990's were over, the Mara Salvatrucha Stoners group was no longer a single click of Salvadoran youngsters who identified with punk rock culture. They were a new and vicious breed of street gang who were feared throughout the city's impoverished districts and slums for their cold blooded approach to crime. It was during this time period that the Mexican Mafia (eMe) met with Mara Salvatrucha Stoners shotcallers in the streets and brought them under the umbrella of Latino gangs in Southern San Andreas. The shotcallers from the Mara Salvatrucha agreed to the Mexican Mafia's demands and officially added 13 to their street gang's name, thus making them the Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS, MS13 and or MS - 13). The Mara Salvatrucha have historically and traditionally identified themselves in various ways. They usually wear blue and white clothing, sports paraphernalia with the number 13 on it, are heavily tattooed (especially on the face) and communicate with gang signs such as the Devil Horns. No matter which geographical region that they occupy, they predominately speak Central American dialects of Spanish that heavily incorporate urban slang from both El Salvador and the Chicano subculture of Southern San Andreas. Their moral subculture dictates that extreme acts of violence that include decapitation, disembowelment, physical castration, rape and other forms of sexual assault are necessary in order to obtain retribution against their rivals. During the late 1990s and especially during the early to late 2000s, members of Mara Salvatrucha migrated out of San Andreas in order to evade law enforcement prosecution. They mostly settled in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington D.C. but some of them settled in Texas and Florida. Thus, the first out-of-state sets of the Mara Salvatrucha were formed by these migrants. At the same time, members of the Mara Salvatrucha were deported back to their home countries of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. This enabled the Mara Salvatrucha to entrench themselves within Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras but not so much in Nicaragua. In Costa Rica and Panama, the street gang is practically non existent. The Mara Salvatrucha in Los Santos since 2005 has a been fractured gang, split into offshoots known as 'programs', which usually contain clusters of cliques that are loyal to them. Each program typically has its own structure and rules. The most prominent MS-13 in Los Santos has been the Los Santos or Sureno Program, which for a long time served as a governing body amongst MS-13 cliques in the city. However, In mid 2020. Xiomara 'La Zombie' Coreas was shot and killed by the Los Santos Police Department. The death of a highly respected shotcaller, which was followed by the incarceration of Josue 'Lil Bandit' Zelaya, another highly respected shotcaller created a leadership vacuum among the Mara Salvatrucha offshoots throughout San Andreas. This same leadership vacuum caused Josue Zelaya's empire to crumble ontop of itself a after he was very quickly shipped off to another state by San Andreas authorities in an effort to lower the gang shotcaller's influence within the gang.Some of the vacuum was a result of the hesitance of mid level and lower level members to move up in the Mara Salvatrucha's hierarchy, where they'd be targeted by law enforcement. At the same time however, with the lack of a solid leadership within the so called 'Los Santos' Program of MS-13. Several factions and cliques, including the Forum Locos Salvatruchas clique of the MS-13 have returned to using more traditional and violent methods, similar to what has been seen throughout Central American countries and in other parts of the United States such as Liberty City, Vice City and Maryland. The introduction and continuation of more violent tactics used by MS-13 is the result of other factions within the MS-13 gang emerging in an effort to exert their dominance in South Los Santos, as opposed to affiliating themselves with the Mexican Mafia and its extensive criminal enterprise in San Andreas and in prison facilities as members of the Mara Salvatrucha in San Andreas have done extensively in the past. This has been the result of various MS-13 members and offshoots throughout San Andreas no longer fearing what might happen if they step out of line and betray the so called 'Los Santos Program' within MS-13. This is because In Josue Zelaya's Mara, those who committed violent rapes, drive by's and murdered innocents were brutally murdered by Zelaya and his loyalists. Now in his absence, nobody is there to force the more violent offshoots of MS-13 back into line with the Mexican Mafia. As a result, several cliques have returned to the MS-13's original way of operation and as a consequence, have re-modelled themselves after MS-13 cliques throughout the Eastern Coast of the United States and also after various offshoots seen throughout Latin America. Brutal violence that often includes vicious beheadings, medeival style murders, rape, senseless kidnappings, drive by's, forced human trafficking and the murders of innocents have become commonplace among many, if not all MS-13 offshoots that are present throughout Los Santos. Forum Locos Salvatruchas (FLS) The Forum Locos Salvatruchas (FLS), also known as the Mara Salvatrucha Forum Locos (MS FLS) are a small and tightly knit Mara Salvatrucha 13 clique that operates off the Strawberry side of Forum Drive in South Central Los Santos. The FLS clique was formed in 1992 by members of the Mara Salvatrucha gang who migrated from Little Seoul into the South Central slums of Strawberry. Due to the growing number of Salvadorans and other Central Americans in the area of Chamberlain Hills and Strawberry, the Mara Salvatrucha began to rapidly recruit and build up a sheltered, but strong presence in the neighbourhood. The gang became entrenched in the Casa Cristina and The Tahitian Housing Projects from 1994 onward. By 1998 the Mara Salvatrucha Forum Locos had managed to become one of the most reputable Salvadoran street gangs in the South Central area. They were feared throughout South Los Santos for their involvement in horrific violence. Although some didn't fear the Forum Locos, but instead hated and despised them. By 2001 the Forum Locos Salvatruchas were considered the universal enemies of most, if not all Mexican American and African American gangs in the South Central area. In the years following 2015 the gang saw a slight increase in activity in the Strawberry area, but due to the resurgence of old enemies such as the Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crips (RSC), Jungle Stone Bloods (JSB), East Side 13 (ES13), Playboys 13 (PBS) and the Ghetto Boyz (GBZ) by 2018 the Forum Locos clique was forced almost completely underground. All the years of being on everybody's scope, coupled with several other factors such as inter-gang tension between the Forum Locos and other MS-13 cliques in Los Santos would take their toll in the Forum Locos clique. By 2019 the Forum Locos were not only greenlit by several other MS 13 cliques throughout Los Santos, but were also on less than favorable terms with the Mexican Mafia. The Forum Locos had fallen out of the Mexican Mafia's good graces for their involvement in a horrific spasm of violence that took place in the years between 2017 and 2019. The spasm of violence was categorized by senseless abductions, the murders of innocents and children, sex crimes and various other acts that were less than favourable in the eyes of the Mexican Mafia. The FLS clique's fate was sealed when the leader, Jerry Flores a/k/a Maniak was murdered by a member of a South LS Sureno gang with the alleged help of several MS-13 affiliates. By 2019 the Forum Locos Salvatruchas clique was considered fully defunct Months later, during the later months of 2020, members of former MS-13 cliques throughout Los Santos gathered in the 'The Tahitian' Housing Projects in South Los Santos. where they aimed to continue the Forum Drive Locos Salvatruchas clique and forge a new name for the clique and also for the gang itself in Southern Los Santos. The clique's reformation was for the most part kept under wraps. No evidence of the group's presence in Chamberlain Hills was visible for some time, apart from the odd tag here and there. Many of their gang tags have been depicted by a skeletal hand holding up the infamous Devil Horns (La Garra/The Claw) handsign along with the large letters 'MS' 'FLS' '1319' 'XIII' 'MARA SALVATRUCHA' and 'MAREROS'.. Recently the newly revived clique of the MS-13 gang has taken up residence in the Tahitian and Casa Cristina housing projects in Chamberlain Hills, where they've re-established a rather sheltered and fragile presence for themselves in the area of Forum & Carson. Much of the Mara Salvatrucha gang's new generation of members members have been described as extremely young and for the most part, lacking tattoos. The Mara Salvatrucha gang's newer generation is much more disconnected from the Mexican Mafia than previous generations have been. Lacking any sort of morals or code when it comes to the way they operate in the streets. If it doesn't benefit them, they don't care to destroy it. Not many of them are even past the age of 24. All suffering from extreme impoverishment and all carrying extremely violent attitudes and tendencies towards perceived enemies. This level of violence was caused by a new clique policy within the Forum Locos clique that required prospect members to commit a violent murder in order to join the clique. As the weeks went by, Residents who were African-American or Mexican-American began to be harassed by the new generation of Salvadoran gangsters in the neighbourhood. One woman from the Casa housing projects described being ruthlessly harassed and stalked by members of the Salvadoran gang, even witnessing her boyfriend get shot down in cold blood after attempting to discuss an issue with the teenaged gang members. 'They shot him for nothing' the female resident us, peering nervously at a bald headed Salvadoran teenager who was perched up on the steps nearby as she spoke to us. She later explained to us that everybody who entered the Casa Cristina projects while the gang was outside would likely become subject subject to the same type of harassment, surveillance and extreme violence which was both sexual and physical in nature The Forum Locos Salvatruchas and the greater Mara Salvatrucha street gang are for the most part unfriendly towards most, if not all Mexican, Asian and African American street gangs throughout Los Santos. In light of this fact, they're alleged to have an alliance of convenience with the Mexican Mafia, very weak ties to a small Hispanic gang known as Diablos 13 (DIA) and an alleged understanding with the Black P Stones (BPS) and the W/S Rollin 20's Neighborhood Bloods (RTB). Although the aforementioned alliances are alleged to only be a result of the Black P Stones and Rollin 20's gangs' long standing and bloody feuds with the Barrio 18 (XV3) gang. Rivals of the Forum Locos Salvatruchas and of the Mara Salvatrucha in general include but aren't limited to; Playboys 13 (PBS13), Harpys 13 (HPS13), Ghetto Boyz (GBZ13), Rollin 60's Neighborhood Crip (RSC), Innocence Family Gangster Bloods (IFGB), Hillside Gangsters 13 (HSGS13), Alley Locos 13 (ALS13), Aztlan 13 (AZT13), Wanderers 13 (W13), White Fence 13 (WF13), Drifters 13 (DFS13), Barrio 18 (XV3/18) and the Crazy Riders 13 (CRS13) street gang. OOC INFORMATION The Forum Lokos Salvatruchas faction intends to portray a fictional, but realistic and well portrayed Mara Salvatrucha 13 offshoot/clique which is heavily based off of the Mara Salvatrucha's 'Fulton Locos' clique. We intend to portray a close to defunct MS-13 offshoot/clique which has not only become disaffected by the previous leadership of the MS-13, but is also despised by many MS-13. While many former MS-13 cliques in the city have been loyal to the so caled 'Los Santos' or 'Sureno' program among MS-13, the Forum Locos Salvatruchas don't, and instead hold loyalties to another MS-13 offshoot known as the Mara Salvatrucha 503. The Mara Salvatrucha 503 is portrayed as a fictional/semi non-fictional faction of the Mara Salvatrucha that carries a great pride in upholding the values of Salvadoran Nationalism and adherence to MS-13's more violent roots. While most Mara Salvatrucha 13 groups are focused on money, the Mara Salvatrucha 503 is heavily focused on terorizing their enemies and also local communities through the use of horrific violence. Upon becoming affiliated to the Forum Locos Salvatruchas (Jumped in / completing your initiation process) you automatically accept gore & character kill permission, which the leadership of Forum Locos Salvatruchas will excersize if need be. Along with the latter, if one's character begins their initiation process with the clique and ends up dying during a gang related activity, your character will be considered Character Killed (CKed) as well. MORENA MARTÍNEZ (TRIPZ) Thread will showcase the life of an 18-year-old marera from the Forum Locos Salvatruchas (FLS) clique. Ethnicity: Salvadoran Backstory: Morena Martínez a/k/a Tripz is a 18-year-old Mara Salvatrucha 13 (MS-13) gang member from El Salvador. Morena was born on the 9th of September, 2002. The majority of her family still live in San Salvador. Most of her family are all impoverished with very few exceptions. Broken homes, dysfunctional families, abusive parents, and mental illness are a fixture of the family's history. This has caused a familial generational cycle of criminal activity, such as independent criminals and street gang membership for a little over 100 years. Around 90% of Morena's family are mareros or mareras themselves. Plenty of her own direct ancestors and their siblings were involved in the Salvadoran Civil War. Her father, Jose Martínez a/k/a Menace, was a drug dealer and initiated member of the Tiny Winos (TWS) MS-13 clique. Her mother, Selena Martínez, was a high school dropout who dealt crack cocaine with her partner. She also had a criminal record for prostitution that she served one year and a half behind bars in a women's only state prison in 1993-1994. Both Jose and Selena made a big effort to keep Morena sheltered from their criminal activities, though it was inevitable that she'd eventually see what was really going on. Morena was exposed to child abuse, child neglect and some family violence from a very young age. Both of her parents were often unable to provide the basic necessities of life, often having verbal and physical altercations at home. By 2010, her father had developed a drinking problem which made him prone to sudden fits of alcohol-fueled rage. He took this anger out on his family and was a very physically violent person at the worst of times. It didn't take long for Morena to end up dealing drugs herself. At the age of 14 she started selling hard drugs like crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and heroin. She became more involved with the local MS-13 gang after her father died from a sudden meth overdose. She eventually found trouble with the LSPD for her dealing of hard drugs throughout all of Chamberlain Hills. She's also done prison time for savagely attacking a 15-year-old African-American that dissed the set she was claiming. Morena joined the Forum Lokos Salvatruchas (FLS) clique when she was 15, participating in a deadly shooting that targeted an 18th Street gang-controlled drug den.

Edwin Bejerano-Munguia, known on the streets and within the MS-13 criminal enterprise as 'El Conejo' or 'The Rabbit' is a teenage Mara Salvatrucha gang member from Apopa, El Salvador. He was born to a poverty stricken family that both in Central America and in the United States had strong ties to the Mara Salvatrucha gang. Many of his relatives from both countries have been and still are for the most part affiliated to MS-13. Edwin's father, Enrique Orejon-Munguia was one of the founding members of the Mara Salvatrucha Stoners gang in the 1980's before being deported back to El Salvador, where he had three children with another MS-13 deportee, a young woman named Jazmin Bejerano. During much of his early childhood, Edwin and his siblings, a younger brother and sister all managed to avoid recruitment into the local street gangs in El Salvador due to strict parenting from his mother and father, both of whom wanted to avoid allowing their children to take the same self destructive path that they took. Although, this didn't work. When Edwin was only 6 years old he witnessed his younger brother (4) get viciously hacked to death by a small Salvadoran street gang known as 'Mara Maquina', a homegrown street gang which was located on the Western side of Apopa. . Due to the fact that Edwin and his family lived in Mara Salvatrucha controlled turf, the Mara Maquina members immediately associated the two boys with their enemies. While Edwin escaped from the initial confrontation, seeing his young, non gang affiliated brother get brutally murdered sent him down the same path that his parents feared him going down, at full throttle. Weeks after his brother was murdered, Edwin approached the Mara Salvatrucha affiliates in the neighbourhood begging for his family's protection. The Mara Salvatrucha affiliates told him that he'd have to join them, to which he immediately agreed. Over the course of four years, Edwin worked towards proving himself to the Mara Salvatrucha by acting as a look-out, identifying rival gang members (scouting) and also by selling soft and hard drugs in Apopa's various slums. At the end of the four year period, Edwin was given the opportunity to avenge his family member's violent death. He was bought infront of a bound, gagged and blindfolded member of the Mara Maquina gang, immediately he was given a knife and ordered to murder the rival gang member. Upon hearing the captive rival's pleas through her gag, he hesitated. Although he was warned by one of the gang members that if he didn't complete the final stage of his initiation, he'd be killed. He knew too much for their liking. As a result of the pressure from his companions and fear of being murdered by those that were meant to protect him, he brutally murdered the female Mara Maquina affiliate with the knife he was provided with, slitting her throat all the way around before repeatedly plunging the knife into her chest until she stopped moving. After the murder, the ten year old was dragged into another room and viciously beaten for thirteen seconds. Edwin had earned his jump in that day. Hours later, Edwin was being comforted by one of the gang's female members while another member tattooed the initials 'MS13' onto the inside of his mouth, namely on his lower lip. He was given the nickname 'Conejo' by the gang, a reference to Edwin's appearance. Edwin operated with the Mara Salvatrucha clique he was affiliated with in Apopa for two further years. He committed several homicides throughout Apopa in the name of the Mara Salvatrucha and earned himself a reputation as a killer for the gang, despite his tender age. Also years after his jump-in to the Mara Salvatrucha, his youngest sister earned her own jump in after she assisted with the kidnapping and later, in the murder of a local informant. It wasn't long before his mother and father caught on to his gang affiliation and forcibly moved him and his sister across El Salvador to a completely different town. Although it was an ill-advised move. The neighbourhood they moved into was dominated by Mara 18. Bitter rivals of the Mara Salvatrucha that had been locked into a gang war with MS-13 since the years following the gang's forming in Los Santos during the 80's. Edwin and his younger sister managed to avoid detection by the Mara 18. Although his father, who sported facial tattoos affiliated to the Mara Salvatrucha Stoners was very quickly identified by the Mara 18 in the neighbourhood, he was publicly assassinated in front of his San Miguel home by a large group of members of the Mara 18. Afterwards, Edwin's family began being issued with endless threats, causing his mother to become extremely fearful for her life. After attempting to pay the Mara 18 members off and being raped, Jazmin decided to simply flee. She took her two remaining children and fled El Salvador for Guatemala and eventually, the United States. While Edwin was hesitant to flee his country for the United States. he eventually agreed to go with his mother. When they left. A family friend, Morena Martinez went with them, travelling with the three through Guatemala and up through Mexico. As the group travelled through Guatemala, and later through Mexico, Edwin stopped at various points throughout the country to check in with Mara Salvatrucha cliques in those areas, as he was advised to do by his shotcaller back in El Salvador.. Many times, he was ordered to do some sort of favour for the gang on his way to the US, which he did. During much of he and his family's journey through Mexico, they were accompanied by a Guatemalan MS-13 gang member who chose to guide them to the border between Mexico and the US. Upon reaching the Rio Grande River, their Mara Salvatrucha 'guide' abandoned them, choosing to stay South of the border. Instead, the trio of kids were handed over to a Coyote. They were smuggled across the river with all of their belongings in a trash-bag one by one. The teenagers and their mother were then taken into an SUV and dropped off in a nearby border town located in Texas. After arriving to his extended family in houston, Edwin, his younger sister and his friend Morena were taken in by his family on the Northern side of the border. Edwin and his sister were enrolled into a local Houston school. There they once again met Mara Salvatrucha members. Edwin quickly associated himself with the local Texas clique and was on the verge of being initiated simply for the fact that he was an MS affiliate from El Salvador. However, his initiation into the Houston offshoot of the MS-13 was cut short when his family ferried him, his sister and Morena to San Andreas, where they were to live with members of Edwin's family there. After years of being moved from neighbourhood to neighbourhood throughout San Andreas and throughout Los Santos, Edwin's family settled in South Central Los Santos. There, Edwin re-established ties to the Mara Salvatrucha after he met with members of his former Apopa clique in San Andreas. A fact that was unknown to Edwin at the time, but the MS-13 clique that he joined in El Salvador had originated in the streets of Los Santos, that clique was the Forum Locos Salvatruchas. Upon establishing ties with the Los Santos offshoot of the Forum Locos, he quickly informed them of his status as a Forum Loco in El Salvador. Due to this, Edwin and his sister very quickly rose up in the ranks of the clique. Once again simply due to the fact that their associates in the Forum Locos Salvatruchas saw them both as being more 'battle hardened' a result of the fact that they came from the slums of El Salvador. Throughout several years, Edwin performed high profile assassinations for the Mara Salvatrucha and for the Forum Locos Salvatruchas both in San Andreas, and in neighbouring states such as Texas, Arizona, Washington, Oregon and even in parts of Mexico. Although come 2018, that had stopped. Edwin was now a seasoned Mara Salvatrucha gangster. Despite the fact that he was only 18 at the time, Edwin had risen to the rank of 'Segunda Palabra (Second Word)' within his clique. Edwin Munguia became the leader of the Forum Locos Salvatruchas clique in Los Santos in the early months of 2020. He and his gang had operated for the past few years in the shadows for the most part. Edwin remained an active and relatively thoughtless member of the street gang throughout much of this time. December 2020 Turmoil struck the Forum Locos clique when a deal with a local Chicano gang went wrong. Many of the Forum Locos were murdered, causing some to go into hiding and attempt to disappear. After his childhood friend Morena Martinez went missing, Edwin was forced to step down from his leadership position in his clique when he was taken under the wing of Yadiel 'Talker' Ayala from the Palomino Locos Salvatruchas clique. Almost abandoned by his clique in South Central, Edwin began living off the grid in Little Seoul in the former territory of the PLS clique after being ordered to keep a low profile by high ranking members of the Palomino clique. This thread depicts the life and development of Edwin 'Bullet/Rabbit' Munguia, a member of the Mara Salvatrucha gang who was born and raised in Apopa, El Salvador.

Kevin „Lil Maniak” Flores, is a 15 years old teenager from South Central Los Santos. His story, same as many other teens in the area, starts with a disfunctional family. His father, Jerry „Maniak” Flores, was the clique leader of Forum Locos Salvatruchos, an Mara Salvatrucha set in the Chamberain Hills. Kevin’s mother, Alejandra Flores, she was a prostitute, addicted to crack cocaine and crystal meth. The teenager’s parents got maried when Kevin was born, both comming from the same background, having same origins, dating back to San Salvador, El Salvador. Kevin was forced to move in with his grandmother after his father’s death. Jerry was shot and killed infront of his house, by what is believed to be a hit by some rival South LS Surenno gang, with the alleged help of other MS13 members. Teenager’s mother is nowhere to be found. After his father’s brutal murder, Kevin became more and more problematic, the violence and the gang activity around his area took a tole on his mental health. Is a known fact that the teenager suffers from anger management issues, and that he is openly hatefull towards all the traditional Mara Salvatrucha enemies, hating everything about 18st gang, and Playboys 13 gang.

Born and raised in the West Side, Little Seoul, Los Santos, YADIEL AYALA aka TALKER, was exposed to the street violence, drug abuse and poverty from an younge age. Comming from a central american household, his mother being Guatemalan and his father Salvadoran, Yadiel felt the racism against hispanic community, he would see how people looked at him and his parents when they walked on the street . Even in school, there were teachers who would discriminate him for the way he looked, he dressed, for being poor and latino. This events made Yadiel to resent school, but he never tought of dropping out. Selena, his mother, who was drug addict, spending her most of the time under influence of Heroine and Oxicodone, tried to offer Yadiel a good education, but could never give up on her habits. In one instance, when he was 10, Yadiel, had to witness his mother overdosing on Black Tar, fortunately he called 911 and saved his mother's life that night. His father, on the other hand, a US Army Private, was an alcoholic, who would constantly abuse, both, Yadiel and Selena, being merciless when beating them up. In one night, his parents were comming from a party in South Central, Yadiel's father being drunk, ended up causing a chain accident on Calais Avenue. That night both of Yadiel's parents died, leaving the 12 years old kid an orphan. After his parents' passing, young Yadiel, has been institutionalized, Child Protective Services took him into their custody and sent him across the country, in Liberty City, where for one year he spent his life with his russian Foster parents. It was in this times, that Yadiel, became more and more violent, picking up fights in school and on the streets of Broker, LC. Seeing his behavior, his first foster parents sent him away in a CPS youth rehabilitation center. In this center, Yadiel, was, once again, marginalized for being a latino and on top that, being of South American descent. In one reported istance, in his two years inside the center, Yadiel started fight with another juvenile after he was called various racials slurs. This fight left Yadiel with a scar over his right eyebrow and a missing tooth. At 15 years old, Yadiel was sent to a foster home in Denver, Colorado, from where he later ran away, landing back again in Little Seoul, Los Santos. In Ktown, Yadiel reunited with his cousin, Antony Cardenal, also known as Ghost, a notorious MS13 member. The duo met at a gas station on Calais Avenue, where Ayala took a part time job. After a long talk, Antony advised Yadiel to get in contact with Xiomara "La Zombie" Coreas, the Shotcaller of the local Mara Salvatrucha clique. Said and done, Yadiel introduced himself, and was shortly put on the street to sell drugs for the gang. Months would pass by, Yadiel becoming more and more active in gang business, bringing more money in week by week. On one instance, after running low on cash, Yadiel accepted a contract to kill a David Smokes employee, believed to have ties with the Russian Mafia. He managed to pass the mission, being paid $50.000 by an unknown contractor. After getting the money, Yadiel, paid La Zombie $45.000, impressed by this, she then put the young teenager under observation for a couple of months, and gave him his street name Talker. After these events, after a neighbor alerted the gang of LSPD's presence in Little Seoul, Yadiel's cousin, Ghost, was arrested for armed robbery, facing a lot of years behind bars. Hearing of a potential witness in his cousin's case, Yadiel and a MS13 member, Omar "Bully" West, hunted and killed the key witness inside Rob's Liquor Store in Vespucci Canals. Ghost was soon after released from custody, and returned back in Ktown. This action impressed the MS13 shotcallers, Yadiel got jumped in the gang, becoming a member of Palomino Lokotes. Leaving LS Things took an ugly turn for both Talker, and his gang, Palomino Locos Salvatruchos. First, Yadiel has been arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking after a sting operation planned by the LSPD. He ended up serving one year in the Twin Tower Correctional Facility. Soon after his release, his gang leader, Zombie, ended up dead after a shootout with the LSPD, a death that would take a 180 degrees turn on the gang's future, a lot of the members skipping town. There is none left in the Little Seould Clique of Mara Salvatruchas except Yadiel and Zombie's husband, Bandit. The latter ending up catching a case for double murder. Seeing that everyone around him is either dead, missing or behind bars, Talker decides to skip town, himself. The 19years old went for the East Coast, hiding in Atlanta, Georgia. The comeback On the run, alone and left with no money, Talker decides, to finally make a comeback in his old neighborhood, trying to get back on his feet. (...to be continued)

Meabh "La Bam Bam" Viteri (deceased), standing beside Sophia "Lil Blue" Coreas circa 2020 Sophia "Lil Blue" Coreas, nicknamed after her Korean relative Paek Ha-eun otherwise known as "Blue". Sophia was born in Little Soel; her mother arrived in Los Santos after fleeing from El Salvador a few years before Sophia was born. The W/S Mara Salvatrucha; also known as MS-13 was already established by Sophia's relatives, leading her to be born into "the life". Sophia's mother always had, and still does work multiple jobs to fund the duo, Sophia soon dropped out of school at fifteen years old- leaning more towards the streets. Eventually Sophia was brought up in the streets by her cousins Xiomara "Zombie" Coreas, and Layla "La Peligrosa" Coreas, turning to a life of crime to help her mother pay bills. Sophia was quickly exposed to the violent lifestyle of MS-13 members; for a long time Sophia struggled dealing with robbing people, and stealing etc (she always felt guilty) but her attitude soon changed once her friends and family started to end up in caskets. Sophia's good childhood friend, Meabh "La Bam Bam" Viteri was found dead in an alleyway at only fifteen years old, shot dead. Sophia's attitude towards life and the gang-culture took a full 180 turn, she'd never leave the house again without a firearm. Just weeks before the death of Meabh, Sophia's cousin Layla was brutally murdered- her killer was Xiomara who directly told Sophia that she did it. Layla was hacked to death for violating the gang-conduct- Sophia soon became rather "emotionless" when it came to committing crimes. On /04/06/2020 Sophia committed first degree murder after a rival gang member was trying to sell narcotics in Little Soel- Sophia was dying to make a name for herself. That same night Sophia was the prime suspect of another shooting, the murder of a local Korean who attacked her at the LTD Gas Station, both Sophia and Xiomara opened fire on her, leading to her death- catching two bodies in one night. Sophia, Xiomara and Lindsey "Molly-Mac" Flores, fled Los Santos in avoidance of the Los Santos Police Department. Xiomara was caught shortly after, and opened fire on multiple LSPD officers- dying at the scene, Lindsey was soon caught minutes after and charged for the shooting. Sophia currently hangs around Little Soel still, trying to lay low and get by without causing too much attention- shes lost without her real friends and family.

JOSUE 'BANDIT' ZELAYA & GABRIELLA 'FEISTY' DELGADO Overview: Josue Zelaya Josue Zelaya was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador on August 26, 1979 as the middle child of Eduardo and Maria Zelaya's four children. The Zelaya family were working class and inhabited the poorest neighborhoods of Santa Ana. The Zelayas grew up and lived during the especially violent years of the Salvadoran Civil War, during which Santa Ana was directly impacted. Most of the Zelayas fled Santa Ana during the war or were forcibly removed from the city by the military during the sporadic fighting. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, many members of Josue's immediate & extended families fled El Salvador for Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico and the United States. Those who were unable to flee the country were either conscripted into the Salvadoran Army or were forcibly re-located to the slums of San Salvador by the military. Josue Zelaya's family currently resides in El Salvador, Mexico and the United States. The majority of his family who fled El Salvador returned to the country after the Salvadoran Civil War ended in 1992. Some have remained in Mexico City, Mexico and along the American Pacific. Since 2008, a number of his 3rd to 5th cousins have legally immigrated to the United States and now live in the American Northeast. In particular, he has several cousins who live in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Early life Josue's father Eduardo Zelaya, a White Salvadoran of Italian, Spanish and French descent, was a concrete mason who got conscripted into the Salvadoran Army only five months after Josue was born. His father fought against Communist insurgents in Northwest El Salvador for several years and only sporadically returned to visit his family in Santa Ana. His father was twice wounded by direct enemy fire during the Salvadoran Civil War. Josue's mother was repeatedly sexually assaulted and raped by local criminals around their Santa Ana neighbourhood. Her husband was away in the fighting, Josue and his siblings also thankfully weren't home when the sexual assault took place and were instead roaming the war ravaged streets. In 1988, Eduardo Zelaya was discharged from the Salvadoran Army after 6 years of service. He had spent the majority of the war fighting guerrillas in rural mountainous areas as a tank crewman. He suffered from a significant amount of post-traumatic stress. He heavily drank and physically abused his family as a coping mechanism. As the Salvadoran Civil War drew to a close meanwhile, his children including Josue freely roamed in Santa Ana's urban streets together. They did this in order to escape the abusive environment within their abnormal family. They were heavily involved with criminal mischief and petty crimes such as shoplifting, thefts and robberies as teenagers. Their attended schools experienced frequent closures due to local security threats, so the children missed out on several years of education while growing up. Josue's only sister, Luisa had resorted to selling drugs in the street in order to generate an income for the family. She was only 11 years old when she started working for a neighbourhood gang. In 1989, Josue's eldest brother Diego Zelaya informed his family that he was leaving for the United States. His plan was to find employment on seasonal farms in the Midwest so that he could send money back to his family. Additionally, he entertained the idea of obtaining permanent residency and attending university in Chicago. He told his family of his plans only a week before his sudden departure. At the age of 17, he departed El Salvador and was never seen by his family again. Given how his final correspondence came in the form of a phone call from Monterrey, Mexico his family believes that he died there before reaching the US. In 1991, Eduardo Zelaya re-located his family to the United States from Santa Ana, El Salvador. He informed the US immigration authorities that his family were refugees fleeing the Salvadoran Civil War. Even though the war was starting to come to an end back in El Salvador, US immigration authorities reluctantly and quietly admitted his family into the country. This was due to the sheer processing difficulties that they had faced from the Central American migrant crisis throughout past years. Earlier in the year, Maria Zelaya died from a bathtub drowning. It was suspected by neighbours and Santa Ana police that Eduardo had killed her in the bathtub by holding her underneath the water. However, this was never proven and the police weren't willing to thoroughly investigate the death. Her death was officially recorded as an accident by the Santa Ana coroner's office. Eduardo settled in Los Santos, San Andreas with his 3 remaining children. Eduardo invited a sister and brother to the United States shortly after arriving; both siblings made the journey, but took different land routes. Similar to his son Eduardo, his brother Alejandro was never seen again after departing El Salvador. His last known location was self-reported as being in San Benito, Guatemala through a public payphone call to Los Santos, San Andreas. Alejandro had hinted to Eduardo that he had "ran into trouble" with a local criminal gang, who had attempted to forcibly confine him to the backroom of a restaurant while demanding money. The family assumed that Alejandro was eventually murdered by this criminal element. Life in the United States Josue and his siblings grew up in the Little Seoul neighborhood of Los Santos, which at the time was going through a significant demographic shift. Once a prominent Korean American area of Los Santos, the neighborhood was populated by a significant minority of Latino Americans by 1993. Therefore, many of Josue's childhood friends in the United States were Central American migrant children and Korean American street kids. The Zelayas school attendance during junior high school & high school was harshly enforced by their father Eduardo and aunt Angela. Eduardo particularly valued formal education, as access to the service was often impossible while living in wartime El Salvador. The siblings were threatened with physical abuse if they got caught not attending school by their father and aunt. Whenever it could be proven that the siblings had skipped school, they were physically attacked with household objects at home as punishment. Eduardo had whipped his children's hands with a belt and had burned cigarettes out onto their wrists as a consequence for missing school. Josue and his siblings were harshly bullied at their attended schools for their inability to speak English right away. Many of their bullies were Mexican Americans, who were only able to speak English. Being bullied by Mexican Americans caused Josue to experience a misplaced anger and hatred towards the Chicano sub-culture. These strong emotions were especially extended to Chicano criminal gangs such as the Sureños and 18th Street gang. During his final year of junior high school in 1992, Josue was jumped by members of the 18th Street gang while leaving his school grounds in Little Seoul. His backpack was stolen, with the contents being dumped down a curbside sewer drain. Upon returning home, his father entirely blamed him for the incident and he was physically beaten with a frying pan as punishment for not bringing his school books back home. As a 13 year old, Josue was strongly influenced by his older cousin Manuel Zelaya, who was a drug addicted former child soldier of the Salvadoran Army. Manuel regularly bragged to Josue about brutalizing innocent populations of indigenous villagers during the Salvadoran Civil War, who his military commanders formally accused of being Communist guerrillas at the time. He had kept numerous souvenirs from the war, including several Polaroid pictures of mutilated bodies and the limbs from some of his victims. He had kept hands and fingers preserved in alcohol-filled jars at his housing project in Little Seoul, claiming that they were his personal victims of the genocide. At the time, Manuel was working as a railyard laborer in Los Santos and was affiliated with Mara Salvatrucha in the street. Through their close relationship, Manuel was able to introduce Josue into the gang during the mid 1990s. Josue's brother and sister, however, remained uninvolved with the gang and instead became independent street criminals. Joining Mara Salvatrucha Josue was 16 years old in 1995 when he was initiated into the Mara Salvatrucha gang in Los Santos. This came after he spent years selling drugs and guns for the gang in the streets, and assisting local pimps with procuring prostitutes. He proved himself to the gang by murdering a member of a rival gang, the Playboy Sureños, by shooting him to death during a walk-up shooting. The rival gang member in question was only 14 years old and had been recently initiated into the gang himself. At the time of his gang initiation, he barely spent any time at home with his father anymore. His father was furious that he had broken away from the family home in order to join a criminal gang. His high school attendance was very low during the 1999 - 2000 school year, with him only attending 56 days out of the 180 day long year. In 1998, his father drunkenly admitted to killing Josue's mother in the home bathtub when the family were still living in El Salvador. This admission happened during a night of passive drinking inside of Eduardo's apartment in Little Seoul. A week later, Eduardo Zelaya was physically beaten and brutalized by Josue and a number of his fellow gang members. Eduardo had claimed that he came home from a bar one night, and while his mother was bathing, started an argument that ended with him holding her under the water. Josue threatened his father with death if he failed to vacate the entire state of San Andreas. Another week passed, and the Zelaya family home in Little Seoul was entirely vacant. To this day, Eduardo Zelaya's whereabouts in the United States are unknown. Josue failed high school during Grade 12. He was expelled from Syngman Rhee Memorial High School in Little Seoul for truancy, as he had only attended 38 days of the 1997 - 1998 school year. He was on the senior football team for half of the playing season, where he played as a linebacker. However, due to his poor attendance and abysmal academic achievement, he was cut from the team halfway through the season. While actively gangbanging in the streets, he worked a series of low-paying manual labor jobs. These included working inside of warehouses and at construction sites around South Los Santos. He was fired or laid off at all of these jobs for failing to show up and for poor effort at work. The longest period of legitimate employment that he experienced in his late teens was for 7 months, at a Jetsam Terminal warehouse at the Port of Los Santos. He was fired after he verbally threatened his manager with physical violence during an argument about his workplace performance. Widowed husband and state prison During the late 1990's and early 2000's, Josue was an active member of Mara Salvatrucha in Los Santos. He was involved with the gang in both Little Seoul and East Vinewood. His workforce participation was spotty, as he was regularly fired and laid off from all of his legitimate jobs. He did not possess a high school diploma and was not working towards obtaining a GED. His siblings were also involved in numerous crimes, although they were not affiliated with Mara Salvatrucha at any point. At the time of his 2008 apprehension for the homicide of Steven and Alexandra Tessier, he was one of the gang's shotcallers. He controlled the gang's narcotics production and distribution activities around the western halves of Los Santos. The Los Santos police had documented his role within the gang by 2002. He was married to Xiomara 'The Zombie' Coreas, a fellow Mara Salvatrucha member. The duo's three children, named Raissa Zelaya, Uriel Zelaya and Siria Coreas respectively were re-located to Texas after Xiomara was killed by the Los Santos police during a gunfight with the Los Santos police in 2008. With his wife's death at the hands of the Los Santos police in 2008, Josue embarked on a series of violent crimes around East Vinewood in the weeks following. These crimes started when he arrived at the scene of his wife's death and stood in the street, screaming violent threats towards the police officers who shot his wife to death. He left the scene after being threatened with arrest and criminal charges if he didn't vacate the area. He was responsible for a number of violent armed assaults and robberies around East Vinewood; he particularly targeted unarmed civilians, shopkeepers and rival gang members. His spree of violent crimes culminated with killing Steven and Alexandra Tessier, two professionals who recently arrived in Los Santos from Chicago in order to start careers as business people. They had been hacked to death in their Mirror Park home's kitchen after Josue barged in the back door. Their pet dog was grazed by the blade after it tried to defend its owners from their deaths. The couple's dog survived after receiving emergency care at a nearby veterinary hospital. He had mistaken the couple for criminals who had ripped off his paternal cousin, Melvin Bueso, several months earlier. He had acted on an incorrect address that was mistakenly provided to him by another shotcaller of the gang. Josue was convicted of his homicides at a state criminal court in 2013. His sentence was for life in prison, without the possibility of parole in 20 years. He has so far spent his sentence at numerous state prisons around San Andreas and also in numerous nearby states such as Texas and Arizona, These prisons have notably included the Bollingbroke Penitentiary and the Twin Towers Correctional Facility. He has been an affiliate of the Southside Car for several years and in the late 2010s, he was appointed the regional leader of Mara Salvatrucha. Under his leadership, he has control of the Mara Salvatrucha 13 street gang criminal organization along the American Pacific and in states that neighbour San Andreas such as Washington, Arizona, Oregon and Texas from behind bars. This came to be after he was voted in to the Mara Salvatrucha gang in San Andreas' higher leadership by Mara Salvatrucha veterans hiding from authorities in Tecate, Baja San Andreas. Bandit Zelaya is also reportedly connected to the Mara Salvatrucha's '503 Faction' due to ties that he inherited from his late wife Xiomara 'Zombie' Coreas. and also through his ties to Central America, The Mara Salvatrucha's 503 Program is a sub-faction of the Mara Salvatrucha that carries a great pride in upholding the values of Salvadoran Nationalism and adherence to MS-13's more violent roots. They are alleged to operate in Central America, Honduras, parts of Mexico to a much lesser extent along with the American states of Texas and San Andreas, where they're reportedly absorbed into MS-13 cliques located in America. Josue Zelaya is currently housed on the Level 4 yard of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility. If he is ever released from prison, then he will likely be spending the remainder of his life on parole.
