  2. "What is Blue Water Logistics?" Blue Water Logistics, or BWL for short, is a one of a kind Trucking Company. Our family offers its drivers the best possible compensation and benefits packages in the business. Our beautiful blue family does everything in its power to make sure that its drivers are handsomely rewarded, as we don't just want them to dip their toes in the business, we want them to make a life in it. But maybe they don't want to make a life in it? Well, we don't discriminate! We accept employees on a Part-Time basis, as well! "What can I expect from working for BWL?" We're glad that you've asked. We like when potential employees ask us questions, as it shows they have a keen eye for detail and they care about the future. You don't want to get ripped off, and we don't want to rip you off! Let's outline some of what we offer below. Pay: 93% Commission on Weekdays, 95% Commission on Weekends. Currently we are working on structuring added bonuses, such as when our drivers increase the ranking on their license, as well as bonuses for when our drivers regularly complete an average of 10 deliveries a day over a full week. You heard right, ONLY 10 deliveries a day to earn a bonus! Benefits: The benefits that we extend to our drivers beyond their normal pay is fairly straight forward. We have an Employee of the Month program in which we handsomely reward our best driver over the span of the month. And no, you don't need to be with the company at the start of any given month to achieve this, nor is it tied to the amount of deliveries completed. Our drivers will be issued a company vehicle in which they are able to make deliveries with, insurance and fuel provided. And should some gang member attempt to rob you, we'll make sure that the officers that arrest them make sure their kneecaps have a nice little accident on the way to jail! Not enough? We also intend to host monthly events, such as drift competitions, drag races, and cookouts! All of which has the goods supplied by the company. "What experience do I need?" Close to nothing! Drivers must be 18 with a valid Driver's License and when you come to the company, you will be required to test for your Trucking License ((20 Hours in Game Time, no actual test)), other than that our Supervisors have provided the best possible care for new employees by creating a Trucking Manual. It outlines everything that it takes to be a driver. Need a little extra TLC? We can provide a Ride Along to show you the ropes! "I'm interested. What's the next step?" The next step will be to contact any of the following Team Members in order to apply. If you have any further inquiries, you're also welcome to send questions, comments, and concerns to them. Director: @lukashein CEO: @LittleRainbowz Chief Financial Officer: @BassDropYou

  5. The thread will follow Michael's development. Michael is a young Italian-American in his mid 20's and he was born in Los Santos. His father died when he was in early teens, his mother was sick and she could not work. So, as every good kid, he started working to survive with his mother. She would tear up every time he'd bring money home. He felt happy to be able to help his mother, two years later, his mom passed away and he was left alone. He felt very sad for the few weeks but he could not change the fact that they died. He's living alone and he is working different types of jobs to earn money. Michael Calabrese in 2019, three days before his birthday:
  6. Wilfred Casciano, circa 2016 Wilfred Casciano looks exactly how you would imagine, an obese, white male who suffers from the insecurities of his shameful body. Short and fat are the two primary descriptions of Wilfred, considering the rarity of his unnatural size. The Casciano surname ensures he is of Italian descent, however he strays far from looking like your average Italian. Upon his first moments of regaining consciousness after his only peaceful times in his entire life, a refreshing eleven hours of depressing sleep ends only to remind him that his belly continues to surpass his chest. Hard enough during the unnecessary years of grade school, Wilfred's insecurities encouraged him to embrace antisocial behavior which lead to an annoying lack of socialization skills, and predictable social awkwardness. While he may not have the ability to communicate socially with the masses in person, on the world wide web, he was unmatched. Well educated, his intelligence was recognized whether online or offline. ~ The difference between himself online and offline is while offline, Wilfred lacked the self esteem to act like narcissist he is online. The world wide web is one of the few things he considers a pro in life, allowing him to escape reality and potentially create his own. Throughout the years beginning during his youth, he would addictively follow the waves of technology and the growth of the internet. The older he became, the more matured his mind grew which ultimately lead to a greater curiosity of life's secrets which were easily answered by the world's greatest search engine: Google. Twenty years in the game, there is close to nothing Wilfred doesn't know about when it comes to computers, laptops from their operating systems all the way to the CMOS battery beside the jumper on the motherboard. All of this knowledge and experience for nothing, proving to be a waste when it came to aiding him financially. ~ This was the case for many years up until the recent discovery of the Telegram application. Telegram allowed him access to a world never before seen or even imaginable, equipping him with the necessary knowledge needed to pursue changing his own life. Full Name: Wilfred Casciano Date of Birth: 10/24/1997 Place of Birth: San Andreas, Los Santos Nationality: American (Italian descent). Height: 5'6" Weight: 310 lbs Language(s): English. Positive Traits: Intelligence, honest, articulate, IT expert, loyal.an around neck to prevent heat causing enormous amounts of sweat, and shows signs of obsession with food. Negative Traits: Blunt, know-it-all, smart aleck, introverted, procrastination, and obesity. Quirks: Tendency to talk very quietly, anxiety causes nail biting, breathes heavily, wears battery powered fan around neck to prevent heat causing enormous amounts of sweat, and shows signs of obsession with food. Personality: Wilfred is not necessarily anti-social but he is introverted and often prefers solitude. Never one to speak first, unless the subject is IT related or he is comfortable speaking with that person. He can be outgoing when comfortable with his surroundings (environment & peers), though this is a very uncommon preference for him. Desperation succumbs him at this point in his life, cursed with being a hopeless romantic man but fails to achieve romance because of his obesity. Socially awkward is the epitome of Wilfred's personality especially considering majority of his life revolves around the internet and unrelatable topics the average person overlooks, finds weird or annoying. He is an absolute jokester, but knows how and when to act professional and/or formal. Wilfred envies men with bodybuilder bodies, and even women who resemble men body types. "Why would you waste a body like that on a fucking woman?" he often asks God.
  7. "Church, bank, gun store, bar... what more do you need to enjoy life in rural America?" Paleto Bay Paleto Bay is a small rural town located in Blaine County, San Andreas, situated northwest of the Paleto Forest, west of Procopio Beach and sits on the coastline of the Pacific Ocean and the northwestern foot of Mount Chiliad. It is mainly a residential area with some small local shops and a well known community of tight knit and close individuals. Developing criminal activity has been slowly building along side of such said calm local town. The family known under the name "Mannix" has been slandered into various conversations and rumors situating around the county as a whole, crimes such as smuggling narcotics, guns, sales of shine and various illegal products. The Mannix Family was a widely known drug trafficking organization of like minded individuals that was established back in 1958 within the hills of War, West Virginia, founded by a Richard "Dick" Mannix. Years continued to soar by and the name kept up to its reputation, slowly becoming a well talked about subject around the bars and various nooks and crannies of War, West Virginia. With their main operations running out of West Virginia and the West Coast, they had various ties to the few groups that remained inviolable to the surrounding area, Dead Man Incorporated and The Pagan's MC who would supply them with an immediate line into the Western Hills. The family made their name known around tables by getting into business with the surrounding locals, keeping their money regulated and their shares safe within various small businesses from the family diner to the local bar. The Family grew into parts of West Virginia that were "untouched" by larger criminal folds, giving those under the family to take bitter-haste and capitalize into their next interest. Even though mostly keeping out of sight and behind closed doors the family still managed to have their names defamed across the county, the larger figures becoming publicized in the drug-trade along the northern border by doing hand in hand business with those who kept the inland waterways clear and on route. Present Forwarding into the present time [2012 - 2020] the numbers of said organization have lessened due to an onslaught of arrests on the surrounding members "Gary Hartson", "Amber Ments", "Christopher Ments" & "Benjamin Mac", due to a formal member taking a slip of words to various bar patrons, ultimately leading said members into their own jail-sentences. This left a good sum of the origin to fall and fade out between the current years, most names residing away from the heat of law as they kept their mouths shut when they knew it was time to call it quits. In result of difficulties and onset of problems, a majority of the lasting members decided to move to get away from the scene, packing what cash and respects they had left. Harvey Mannix and his two younger brothers, Landon Mannix, Eden Mannix and his younger sister, Penelope Mannix managed to move down country to Baton Rogue, Louisiana in hopes to find further refuge away from what law was out on tail, in all hopes to put and end to the organizations antics. Harvey met a good sort of like minded individuals and managed to get involved in further distribution, safely away from what law was ranging around West Virginia by keeping safely under the radar in his friends household by the name of Robert Lane, often traveling from one end of the county to another, making sure that money was made by any means necessary, most often enduring long hours in trafficking cocaine and small arms to a group known by "The Black Dollars" a little known group mainly reigning from Louisiana, the group being motivated by violence, drug sales and ensuring their so called clique was "white in and white out". Harvey kept astray with what company was around, leading the few into a life of respect, fortune and soon enough, luxury and mud. "We're a happy family, that's it, blood has nothin' to do with it" ~ Harvey Mannix It was only a few years later when the company ran their course in Louisiana, taking a good more set of outsiders and degenerates along the way. It was on October 24th 2019 when the family made their last stop along the shores of Los Santos, seeking out a primary location to finally call home, settle down, live steady and calm with what money was made, something they all knew was in a distant future. The organization kept form and strength around a small county town by the name of Paleto Bay, situating just beside the great waters of the Pacific Ocean. The organization keeps strong in means of keeping money over all, performing various illegal acts from extortion, sales of narcotics, guns, and furthermore protection to the locals. They tend to keep words tightly kept until behind closed doors, most minds are set on one thing, to get enough money in hopes to get what they need, when they need it, to further what enterprise and projects they are currently projecting out to the community. Crime, violence and money has become the norm for said company around the family, all more better that those under such influence are held strong and tight around the county border, perfect for those who're wishing to stay away from such policing and forces that could put an end to such said goals. Out of Character The Mannix Family is attempting to portray a realistic environment around the county and surrounding area. With both characteristics of illegal and legal ventures around, the aspect of the faction will be portrayed and based around Paleto Bay as an outlaw group. Those under the faction will be wished to hold a good and creative atmosphere for those who're willing to join, always creating role-play for those who're around the county. The faction by no means is a racial group, there's members that have had long lasting relationships with one another, working hand in hand from various ethnicities, as long as you're understanding that we're county based, and your character is county based, that's good enough for us as long as your character has a story that'd fit and or makes sense to portray along our organization. Don't expect to go around guns blazing and getting into the thicket of known beef and or events right away, it takes time to build character and it takes time to get your character set up. Most day's we're relaxing, there's beer, fishing, mud, 4x4ing, hunting and all the necessities an outback country character would want. Most characters inside the faction have hobbies and needs just like anyone else, they're people after all, so expect some good long portion of the role-play to be passive. The faction reserves all rights to character kill people involved with their group, as long as there's a good reasoning behind it. We don't ever character kill anyone without reason and will most likely always be considered the final option out of most outcomes, we want you to grow, not to have your character killed in a week here over some little mishap. It's highly expected that those in the faction get permission from @Rum before posting screenshots on the thread. We prefer quality over quantity. Any questions or ways to join the discord, please message @Rumor @Montana Fats Any further inquiries, please let us know.
  8. I'd say a lot of people already know what I'm talking about. I'll make this short and sum it up: You've got people making 10k, 6k, 4k offa hour jobs in bars n clubs. RPing that ICly and actually talking about it "I'm doing night shifts, yeah, I get around six grand." is nothing other than borderline cringy. See, I'm all up for flexibility and all that, but talking about US dollars like that is just weird as fuck. It's not exclusive to paychecks. It's cars too and small things like event purchases, like food at a diner, beer at a bar. I'm not a club/bar guy but the one or two times I've visited them, I was asked to pay 100 dollars for a drink completely ICly and you get the point. You can't take yourself seriously typing a /me pulls out his wallet and pays John 100 for his beer. What can you do? Look into simple price labels on products around restaurants and clubs, enforce a rule or two about it so the whatever-it-is team doesn't end up going around every single business n its owner on the map for this. Simply educate the owners on it via a forum rule and a discord tag...That also involves paychecks for part-time workers, instead of paying them whatever they're getting rn, decrease it by 40 60 percent and following that, a change in car prices, weapon prices and entry fees, if entry fees do exist, I've not paid attention to that. Some things are pretty much on point and some aren't at all, makes it unbalanced.

    Cedric Coleman

Cedric Coleman is an 18 year old male who lives on Covenant street with his grandma. He works at the Davis gas station and when he's not doing that he's usually just hanging around outside or smoking marijuana. He doesn't have anyone he really considers a friend and he doesn't really look for them either. At the age of 16 his best friend Shaun "Beezy" Evans was shot and killed while attempting to rob someone in their home. Since then Cedric has pretty much kept to himself, proclaiming to have a small circle and that he doesn't need new friends. His criminal record is small, though he has been arrested for shoplifting and on two occasions he got arrested for possession of a controlled substance when he was caught with a bottle of percocets that did not belong to him.
  10. Short description: New Bank/bank accounts system, where you can open a separate account for e.g.: saving for a business, house, apartment... personal reasons, divided accounts ,etc... Detailed description: Basically my idea and suggestion is that there should be a new system for bank accounts instead of just being able to deposit/withdraw money. If it could be possible a window could open in game and you could manage your funds and transfer money through the bank as well as open a separate account for whatever reason to put money on that account. You could also set to which account you would like your paychecks to go to and you could also divide your paychecks meaning: e.g.: You work for LSFD and you earn $40 000 weekly. You have 1 bank account for House Savings and 1 bank account for regular: bills, clothes, food, etc... You would like the $40 000 to be divided into $20 000 and $20 000, wanting one half of your paycheck to deposit into your House Savings account and the other half into your regular one. You could create and close accounts as well as if your character is married, you could create a divided account for either savings or to share funds, etc... OR if you are RPing as a sugar baby or someone's sugar daddy you could create a divided account for the other person's allowance. Same if you RP having kids, you can open a divided account for your kid's allowance. Commands to add: /openbankaccount [account number] [account name], /closebankaccount [account number] [account name], /dividepaycheck [account number] [account name] - or /bank, and this command could open up a window in game where you could choose to create a new account, divide paychecks, etc... without having to use the commands a lot and you could use the /bank instead to make things easier... however at first the commands could work until there would be a window developed, /createdividedaccount [account number] [player name] [account name], /closedividedaccount [account number] [player name] [account name] Items to add: /bank HUD, Maybe event bank credit cards that would have to be on you if you want to withdraw cash (if you wouldn't have the credit card on you, you could not withdraw money) How would your suggestion improve the server? It would improve the server because there would be more roleplay around the bank system. Me, personally... My character wants to open a bank account for savings because she wants to buy a house so that saving it would be easier. However, right now I just have to RP that I opened a separate account where the money is being deposited into and I write it down in my notepad the amount I deposited so far so then I can RP withdrawing it when she saved up. So I feel like this would be a nice addition to the server 🙂 Additional information: N/A
  11. Let's discuss inflation! In economics (in real-life and in games too), if you consistently pump money in the system you will eventually inflate the value of the currency. The amount of the currency circulating in the system will grow, everybody will hold a bigger amount of assets and a single piece of currency will slowly start to lose its value. This can lead to a bigger cap between old and new players, which can make people unmotivated about working, which can lead to asset stacking rather than caring about the quality of their roleplay. There are several factors in game-economics but if we want to simplify it down, we can say imagine this process as a scale. The scale: assets vs. liabilities To make it easily understandable I will insert a relatively simple illustration to make it easier to understand the difference between assets and liabilities. Assets: everything you own; Liabilities: everything you owe. Equity: we don't care about this now. The current problem with our economy Right now the biggest problem with our in-game economy is the unbalanced scale between assets and liabilities, meaning you can gather an ungodly amount of assets without also gaining liabilities. This is not just highly unrealistic but also leads to an unbalanced, unsustainable economy. In a good, sustainable economy if you can earn money extremely fast then the money will inflate eventually. To solve this, we need to create ways to force people into spending money to slow down the increase of the overall assets on the server. This can and will lead to a more stable economy which will benefit everybody. The solution: money sinks Right now our goal should be to create ways to drain money out from the system. If you earn money, you should be forced to spend a certain amount to pay the expenses of your assets. A few ideas: utility bills for homes (the higher the property + furniture value, the higher the bill), replaceable parts on cars (tires, oil, et cetera, the car guys can probably say a thousand more), and so on. What is a good money sink? Consistent -- you need to pay it weekly/monthly/yearly. Scalable -- you need to pay more if you hold higher value assets. Affects everyone -- you need to pay it regardless of your job or status. Realistic -- you need to keep your idea in realistic frames. Comment your best money sink ideas and I will create a mega suggestion ("economy update") from the most upvoted ideas! 12. Whilest this suggestion, yes, is about the economy, it is also majorly a suggestion into the way we all roleplay, I think we need to make our characters human. This suggestion is based on the idea that you need support from scripts in order to have a realistic roleplay environment. Personally, I think failure to actually roleplay eating, or roleplaying eating with just a /me and no food item, are both power gaming moves. The current economy of GTA:W is a strange one, it's a normal, if not very functional and somewhat prosperous economy in comparison to the majority of roleplay servers, however, we can do better. I believe that we can develop this economy to a point where firstly, we will be roleplaying in a much more dynamic and realistic environment. What we need to do, is bring value to labour, implement script systems that support the economy both directly and indirectly. How? I have multiple ideas, and if people actually see that we can actually have a much more realistic economy, and with seeing, actually care and want a better economy we could combine forces and write a sort of list of things that need to be implemented OOCly so that the economy can prosper, IC is a different matter. Our goal as roleplayers is to create and play a character, an entirely different person, an entirely different self. As humans, we have elements of necessity that define us as universally as people. If we look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs, we can see that the foundation of human need, are physiological, food, water, shelter and rest. This is the foundation of mankind, this is the base of what makes you, you. In order for us to really connect with our characters, we need to be with our characters through the regular bullshit that we do in real life, this is not because we need to roleplay 24/7, it's because we need to need in order for any economy to prosper. Suggestion: Supply & Demand Firstly we need to implement a need system, something that I think would work very well is a system similar to the system in the game Scum; Throughout the day, you need to eat and drink, the more you eat, the more you need to shit, the more you drink, the more you need to piss. Kind of like a weight scale. Secondly, we need to implement a working and clear addiction system, from nicotine to fentanyl, there should be a clear addiction process. If you start smoking cigarettes, it might take you a real month to develop an addiction, however, once you have that addiction, it will seriously hinder your day to day if you neglect it. Thirdly, we need to implement a health system, more in-depth than a simple bar, because our health is not based on a simple bar. If you are shot, the health issue isn't the fact you got shot, the health issue is the fact that you now have a hole in your body gushing blood. I think disease is something very important as well, from things like the flu to cancer. When all of these things are in place, food will become a necessity, which means that food production will become a necessity. Considering the population of the player base, there should be limits to the amount we can actually produce unless people want to take the mega capitalist approach and start corporations, which is totally fine and an IC thing, which could be apposed by political regimes suchas communist/socialist movements. There needs to be struggling, there needs to be frustration. You shouldn't play for 2 months and have a million in the bank. For the people who do want to play for 2 weeks and have a million in the bank, then fair enough, but have valid and realistic reasoning for that, not just because it's fun to drive fast cars. And to get there, shouldn't be as easy as it is. DEATH I spoke about this before and no one really agreed with me, so maybe we should come up with a system together that could actually work as a death system. I don't think the PK CK system works, I think there needs to be risk in the day to day that you may very well be CKed, which brings real meaning to your characters life.
  13. Implementing the nessesity and production of goods and services to create capital good and economic value. For example; Hunger/Thirst, Production of Food, Vehicles, Housing, Weapons ect. If it needs to be made, it should be made, not magically placed into the world, in order for the economy to thrive, items need to be real because they where actually made, somebody RPed creating that item. Production of Weapons in Los Santos: - LSPD order 200 Glock 17's - Weapon factory recieves order, based on stock, either starts production or orders materials - Weapons get sold to LSPD - Ammunation Sandy Shores orders 10 M9's - Process repeats Production of Vehicles in Los Santos: - Car Dealership orders 20 Vapid Stainers via script. - Car Factory receives order for Vapid Stainer, if the factory has the cars, they send them for delivery, if the factory doesn't, they start production of the vehicles. - If Car Factory is stocked in materials but no vehicles have yet been produced, they will start producing vehicles, in a manner similar to the early day's construction companies, RPing building the cars. - If Car Factory is NOT stocked in materials, they place an order from the refinery - Miners mine ore, loading it at the refinery - Refinery sells ore to Car Factory For now, I think all jobs should be salary based unless a point of economic change is made ICly, i.e an Anarcho-Syndicalist social uprising.

  15. The Bloods street gang began at the Centennial High School in Compton, California and were originally known as the Piru gang - Piru meaning Piru Street in Compton, California. The Bloods street gang has become one of the most violent and notorious street gangs active in North America today. With active chapters stretching from the southern United States border into Canada’s larger cities such as Montreal and Toronto, the Bloods continue to further expand their influence by opening new chapters. Emerging Bloods subsets form per the influence of larger Bloods gangs with organizational hubs in cities including Los Santos, New York City, and Chicago. Originally a gang with membership exclusive to African-Americans, many Bloods gang sets today recruit Asian, Caucasian, and Latino members. The Bloods were initially formed in the City of Los Santos during the 1970s to protect neighborhoods from rival gangs and anti-civil rights protests. After the introduction of crack cocaine in the 1980s however, the Bloods along with other street gangs became central drug shops and middlemen for large-quantity suppliers. Throughout this time the Bloods rivaled many other gangs including other Bloods sets for drug territory. As Latino street gangs grew in membership and power, fighting amongst African-American street gangs fell in terms of priority. Many of the 78 identified Bloods gangs in South Los Santos during the 1990s unified in several gang networks to defend against Latino gangs, some even including long-time gang rival the Crips. Despite warring against Latino gangs in South Los Santos, Bloods gang sets continued to grow while new ones emerged. By 2000 six new major Bloods gang sets had been identified, three of which were reported to be based in East Los Santos. Most prominent of these three is the Money Made Mafia Bloods set. Comprised of two subsets, the Money Made Mafia Bloods are a Piru-affiliated street gang headquartered in the 300-unit Crystal Gardens housing project lot of Idlewood and is one of two Bloods gangs currently active in Idlewood. The Bloods present a significant threat to correctional administrators not only due to their predatory and violent behavior but more importantly due to their intense rivalry with the Crips. As do the Crips, the Bloods have a strong fascination with assault-type weapons. California Bloods sets are typically from South-Central Los Angeles; they have similar attitudes about group loyalty and violence. Like the Crips, the Bloods love to be in the limelight. They are especially arrogant and believe that acting naive about them conveys weakness. Bloods members will seize every opportunity to lie and portray the image that they respect only those who are “bigger and worse”. Traditionally, the Bloods Street gangs have always worn red colors, using red bandana's or red rags; similar graffiti and graphics styles, expressing their disrespect and resentment for Crips and Crips symbols. Recently, a new trend appears to have arisen. Bloods in some eastern states have reportedly been known to wear brown, tan and rust or burnt orange colors to represent "Dried" blood. ___________________________________________________________________________________

    Petty Crime

Short description: Add more petty crime options. Detailed description: I think it would be beneficial if things such as shoplifting, general theft (from houses and vehicles, such as car radios and GPS systems) and similar forms of small time crime were added. For example being able to break car windows and steal car radios, shoplift alcohol and cigarettes, break into houses and steal electronics etc. A pawn store would be added for you to sell the items at and it would be a new form of business. Potentially, the components for the pawn store all come from theft such as this. So there could be a 'thief' job and it basically means you steal and sell to the pawn store as a component delivery (at it's most basic level). I think it would add a lot of RP and a much more immersive way of making money for low end criminal characters as oppose to working legit jobs or simply being on welfare. A more active approach to crime. Also add police alerts so that 1/10 times you shoplift, the police recieve a call from the store. The car alarms will obviously alert police and others to break ins and homes can have burglar alarms which do the same. Second, the drug system should really be revamped. It has no benefit right now and is basically a dead end if you want to make money (and unless money were made an RP only concept, how much cash you make does matter). One idea could be changing the effects. Would it be possible to make something like Meth (which is used by gang members in LA to aid in violence) reduce damage taken by a small amount? That way it would be beneficial to use and would create many more drug addicts. I'm not sure how the other drugs should work, though. Another aspect of drug dealing that could work is instead of just relying on other players, to have a delivery system. Similar to how the jobs like garbage collection work, you could take calls/texts, drive to a checkpoint and do the deal. You'd have to stock up first of course and can deal until you are dry, then re-up. Have a system to alert police once in a while, such as a witness or neighbour calling the cops about a drug deal in progress. Also perhaps have a 1/50 chance you get robbed and they run off with the gear without paying. Back onto the Pawn store, the way I envision it working is that it's purchased like any other business, but instead of receiving components from legitimate jobs and sources like most businesses, the component delivery is handled by the thief job. The pawn store can then sell certain items using the components. Maybe knives, machetes, hatchets and other shady weapons that aren't exactly legal or illegal. Things of that nature. The type of things it could sell are very varied. Pawn stores oten sell everything from guns to cigarettes. Commands to add: /Thief, /Steal, /Deal, /Shoplift, /Breakin. Items to add: Car stereos, GPS, cigarettes, laptops, televisions, games consoles, computers. How would your suggestion improve the server? The level of RP that could come about from operating and utilising a pawn shop would be immense. From RPing an addict or petty thief stealing from cars and stores, to a burglar stealing from luxury homes, a home invader in the hood, to a shady store owner purchasing these goods, all offer an abundance of RP opportunities and player interaction, especially among the criminal fraternity. Pawn stores alone could be great RP hubs for criminal characters. The drug suggestion would offer a better way to be active in selling drugs and would make them much more relevant than they currently are. Both suggestions also offer new RP opportunities for police as they can now choose to respond to more small offences and petty crime issues as oppose to waiting for more violent and serious offences. It offers a more dynamic range of choices and opportunities. Home security systems could also be sold by businesses to stop burglars and thieves, along with store security options. Additionnal information: Store hold ups or similar forms of robbery would be good, too. But I'm not sure how they would be best implemented.

  23. The long awaited property update is now in! How does it work, you may ask? Take a look at THIS for most of your questions answered. But, since I know lots have people who have come to me with questions already on how it will be run. Here, I will try to answer most of your commonly asked questions. 1. Okay, so how do I get started? I want to make money and involve myself in this roleplay. I want a thorough explanation. A. 1. You want to get into real estate? This is how you will get into it as a real estate agent and behave as a real estate agent. 2. You want to get on the construction side with your friends? 2. How do I acquire a business with this new update? Auctions are gone? A. Acquiring a business is much like acquiring a house now. You must meet with a Dynasty 8 Real Estate agent with your intentions of creating a business, where you want it, etc. This will be the process for acquiring the business. 3. How do interior changes work with this new system? How do I get a new interior? A. You may get a new interior via these steps. (Please note, this doesn't mean someone making a custom interior for you via the blank interior- This is simply for those whom want to change the interior of their house or business. If you want someone to decorate your house with furniture, that will be coming up in a following update, or you may advertise that you are looking for someone to decorate your property ICly. ) 4. Does this mean new areas of the map will be added? Do I have to get my houses and businesses through this system now? A. YES! We are now adding Vespucci with this new update. You will no longer be able to just go up to a house and /buyhouse like in an RPG game. You must be in contact with a real estate agent who will guide you through the process, and get you set up with the house, just like in real life. Just a bit more touch of realism, and plenty of opportunities to be had! This server strives for heavy/serious roleplay, and this is just one of the many things we have planned to bring you the absolute best experience that we can. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have in THIS thread . Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. -Missi
  24. Realism in the Economy Welcome to GTA World! I'm sure you're wondering, "What sets you guys apart from the other GTA V Roleplay Servers?" Well, one of the many things that sets us apart is our realistic economy system that we have spent hours upon hours deciding upon, with input from experts in the field. We don't want you to spend hours upon hours grinding a fishing job, a trucking job, a trash job, or any other script jobs. We want to encourage roleplay, and encourage roleplay ways of earning that money. We want this to be the furthest thing away from an RPG game, and completely focus this on becoming more of a "real life" simulator, in both the economy and the roleplay standards that we expect our players to hold themselves to. Everyone will receive "basic income" until you reach $150,000 in assets. (This means, in bank cash, on hand cash, your properties, your vehicles, and all of the things that you may own.) This is to help people that are starting off on the server and to "simulate" a program of welfare on the server. Once you reach $150,000 in assets, you no longer receive this basic income, and you must find other ways to supplement your income. You're free to roleplay it as welfare from the government, money from your characters parents, or any way of receiving a "base" income. This means that for those whom may want to roleplay in lower socioeconomic classes, such as those roleplaying gangsters, you can hop right into roleplaying and there's no need for them to "grind" for money, as they will be the one's with much less cash. We want things to remain realistic, but fair to all, and this was one of the first steps we developed in coming to one of the more realistic simulations of a real life economy. Secondly, there will be a 0.0035% Tax of all of your assets that are taken each hour. Before you worry, realize that this is a significantly small number if you are your average person on the server. If you have $800,000 in assets, you will only pay $2,500 per hour. This will help keep things more balanced, preventing the problem of what was had on many different communities before where people would hold millions upon millions of dollars for years, and the economy would inflate significantly with the money going nowhere. There will also be a slightly higher tax for those whom are millionaires, raising the tax bracket to 0.005% which also takes your bank money into account. This would mean that you are paying $5,000 an hour with $1,000,000 in total assets. This means, if you want to keep your money, you're going to have to be smart with it. Don't worry, there will be many ways for those whom want to be millionaires and live the lavish lifestyles to continue to do so, you will just have to be smart to keep your lifestyle that way. In terms of prices of vehicles, items, and houses, we are keeping them at real life-realistic prices. An average house in the poorer parts of the city might be $70,000, whilst one in the "richer" parts of the city might go for $300,000. Vehicles are priced (for the most part) with their real life counter parts. You will not see many people driving around unrealistic vehicles such as helicopters and sports cars, unless they actually work to keep their assets and money. We hope that you all will appreciate this system of more realism and we are always open to suggestions from others. -Missi
