  5. This thread will the follow the story and development of Malcolm Sullivan a local of Mirror Park on the lower-middle class spectrum as gentrification makes the cost of living more intense being raised by a single mother and holding the pressure of being the older sibling of two. Will this fact push him to make drastic decisions down the line? Or, will he keep his head up as he remains almost on the brink of poverty for now trying to use Boxing, and Education as a method to escape, whilst maintaining a habit with the use of Marijuana. Despite the efforts of gentrification the suburb does seem to still have a slight gang presence with the surrounding areas have a even bigger margin sometimes passing through the area to conduct their activities. This thread will also show the lives and development of other locals in a similar situation often coping with use of soft drugs, or petty crimes with the possible formation of a crew trying to emulate the lifestyles of those living south of the Suburb.
  6. Originally starting from a small tight-knit friend group of friends and other local teenagers around the neighborhood of Mirror Park, a group of white teenagers in their developed suburban white neighborhood were massively influenced by African American street culture, specifically the violent African American street gang known as the "Crips", and it didn't take them too long to start their own Crip gang, Slide First Crip. They adopted the Seattle Mariners sport team to identify themselves as being apart of Slide First Crip, frequently wearing their hats around their so called "hood". Starting from small beginnings, they first originally were partaking in an obsessive like behavior of stalking Los Santos focused American social news aggregations and discussion websites that revolve and discuss Los Santos gang politics which were much far from their safe neighbourhood. They were also inspired by numerous rappers that engaged in drug use, mimicking them and often partaking in recreational drug use while also engaging in petty crime such as vandalism, theft and alcohol to pass the time and get a cheap thrill. This escalated quickly, and eventually most of the friends ended up dropping out of school together, not wanting to be alone in classes. As things escalated from just small things like smoking weed, it quickly started turning to doing things like psychedelics, Percocet's, and things like that as it became plentiful and easy to get in the area. Now hyped up on drugs, jobless and without much education, these now late-teens started bringing down younger generations with them, teaching them things about drugs, and getting them to shoplift for them so they don’t risk getting banned from stores. The small contingent of suburban Caucasian teenagers had heavy influence from far away African American street gangs going under the Crip umbrella, and through easily accessible internet knowledge, they were able to learn and adapt from African American street gangs, mimicking how they talk, act and the illegal activities they take part in.

  8. This thread will showcase a small group of drug-addicted Salvadorans that belong to a crew named Most Hated Guanacos. They don't claim territory and mainly focus on committing crimes such as local drug peddling, car theft and resale, vandalism, home invasions, and armed robbery. MHG may develop into a full-fledged street gang faction over time. Anyone interested in RPing with us can message @Gorman380 or find us in-game.
  9. History: DTS (DOWNTOSHOOT) was founded in 2019 by Carlos Guerrero and Alan Espejo in the Bridgetown Apartments after noticing that all their individual tags had been painted over by tagging crews from other neighborhoods. They soon recruited other taggers in their community aiming to force tagging crews from other areas to stay out of Mirror Park. Carlos, and Alan then began recruiting other locals to join their crew. Cesar Arias, Miguel Blanco, and Rue Gomez made up the original membership. The group soon started committing petty crimes engaging in shoplifting, and breaking into cars to help fund their tagging, and partying. A year after being formed the group was shaken when Juan “Snoopy” Guerrero the older brother of founding member Carlos Guerrero was killed in a drive by shooting while leaving a house party in the El Burro neighborhood. Following this event their tags began reflecting this and to this day often have a R.I.P Snoopy accompanying them. Despite only having a handful of members DTS began their rise to local fame after the death of Snoopy, their tags becoming typically less artistic, and more reminiscent of local gang tags, however new murals can occasionally be seen popping up around the area. In recent times the crew has been more prone to using violence to keep other tagging crews out of their neighborhood engaging in several brawls, however shootings, or stabbings are unheard of. DOWNTOSHOOT can often be found hanging out at the Mirror Park LTD, The Bridgetown Apartments, and the park itself. OOC: All recruitment into this faction is handled ICly. We aim to accurately portray a small time tag banging crew. This means that you cannot expect constant shootings, or big time drug sales within this faction in it's current state. If you’re interested in joining your character should be a teenage local to Mirror Park. Accepting our script invite is granting faction leadership character kill permissions.

  11. Arsonist Arrested After Mirror Park Garage Burns Written by Gabriel Stone - 20th February 2023 At 21:46 on the 15th of February the fire department was called by an employee of the QuikFix garage on Mirror Park Boulevard reporting a fire. This was followed by a departmental request a few minutes later at 21:49. The QuikFix employee allegedly first spotted flames around the front door and saw one man around the front. The individual sprinted to the back of the building before two males fled the scene in a black SUV from where they had been parked behind the building. The immediate risks surrounding the fire involved the spread to nearby structures, especially the overhead power lines by the building. The Fire Department liaised with Public Works in order to shut down power to the area to enable Truck and Engine companies to tackle the fire aggressively and limit the spread. Above: San Fire's Alex Jorgensen's arson dog Rex indicating accelerant found inside the garage. During the post-fire investigation, San Fire's Alex Jorgensen and his arson dog, Rex, investigated the scene. Rex indicated twice, once at the front of the building and once behind after locating an excess of accelerant, in this case, likely gasoline. According to San Fire, foul play was confirmed shortly after the fire and witnesses were asked to come forward regarding the incident. Above: The arsonist in question, not including the other male present on scene on the day. However, one arsonist in connection with the incident has been arrested. Lorenzo Reyes was arrested on the 18th of February by the LSSD and found in possession of an illegal, non-serialized firearm. The motivation for the attack is, perhaps unsurprisingly to some familiar with such incidents, racketeering. The individual had been hoping to exploit QuikFix for money, though it's uncertain if the business had previously turned down advances before the intimidation tactic was used. There has been no comment as to the second male present with the arsonist that day.
  12. February 08, 2023 19:12 Written by Robert Gray Murder in Mirror Park Leaves Community in Shock In a shocking turn of events, a man was shot to death in the normally-quiet neighborhood of Mirror Park on the evening of 7 February 2023. The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department was promptly notified and arrived on the scene to begin their investigation. The identity of the victim and the circumstances leading up to the homicide are still unknown at this time. The news of the homicide has left residents in the community feeling uneasy and fearful for their safety. An unnamed resident was quoted as saying, "I never thought something like this could happen in our neighborhood. It's just so frightening to think that there is someone out there capable of such a terrible act." The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department is urging anyone with information related to the crime to come forward and assist in the investigation. On September 7, Keandre Johnson and another male, who had mistaken a family celebration for gang-related party thrown by the Southside Mafia, who are bitter rivals of the Dornor Blocc Crips. The two men approached the house, focusing their attention on 26-year-old Tyrell Ricks Jr. (Tiana father) who was standing in the driveway of their family home. Tiana’s grandfather stated, he thought the two-men were invited guests. However, without any warning the suspect’s fired multiple gunshots into the crowd from the driveway. Tiana, was struck by fatal shot to the back, the bullet ripped through her the 6-year-old flesh and into her father pelvic. Tiana’s family watched in tears as a near-by neighbor performed CPR, until help arrived. However, Tiana lost conscious and slowly died in a hospital, from time to her injuries. The aftermath of Tiana death, have touched the hearts of many Americans and notable celebrities such as Snoop Dogg (rapper) and The Game, who reached out to the family and volunteer to pay for the funeral. Keandre Narkie Johnson, was arrested days later on murder and attempted murder charges. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ BACKSTORY FOR RIVALRY Their animosity for the Sex Cash Murda Gang, is expressed in derogatory terms such “Sex Fags” or “Sex Trash.” For instance, a Los Santos police officer, stated after arresting a member of the East Vinewood Criminal Gang. Donyette Yvonne Clark, better known on the streets as “Lady No Joke” who was affiliated with the Young Paper Chasers was found guilty on four counts of attempted murder, and sentenced to 80 years to life. Davis, tried to make a run for it when a bullet penetrated through his stomach and made an exit through his back. Davis father, carried his son to the garage, where his mother dialed 911 for help. Davis was hospitalized for a week, but managed to recover. One of the founding member’s of the Dorner Blocc Crips was allegedly killed by a member of the Sex Cash Murda Gang.
  17. Mirror Park Criminals 13 (MPC13) otherwise known as Dangerous Gang, is a majority Hispanic street gang, coming out of the Eastside of Mirror Park and there territory being mainly on Mirror Drive. Following them being apart of the Sureno X3 card. The gang is relatively new and untested, with little respect or even knowledge among their peers. They are associated with numerous reckless actions, for example, street gangs related shootings, thefts, and even homicides. This led to the attention of the LSPD's gang unit and other authorities due to there actions, following there commencement into Mirror Park earlier this year. Originally this particular group of delinquents didn’t always start off as a criminal street gang, or anything of that matter. It all started off as typical kids growing up in a poverty and gang infested neighborhood. They were mainly inspired by what they saw and experienced throughout their community in the mid 2017s. This group all came together as a small group of kids that grouped up as friends, to mainly protect themselves from daily circumstances and were mainly exposed to several accounts of violence like shootouts between gangs, robberies, cocaine booms, etc. In order to protect themselves the small group of Salvadorian and Mexican teenagers who had a common interest in heavy metal music, banded together in a tagging and stoner group. Many used the group as an escape from there personal problems, such as getting abused at school, etc. After gaining some notoriety in their local area they started calling themselves Tiny Alley Hitters and were often spotted with Texas Ranger baseball team tattoos mostly on their neck and hands. A few members also had TAH following a Texas Ranger well as an ink symbol to represent their crew. The Tiny Alley Hitters mainly hanged around East Mirror Park Drive, mainly hanging out at Juan Dávalos mother’s house, he was also known as Shaggy to the Tiny Alley Hitters. He was one out of five noticeable and reputable members of the clique. The other following three were Elias Evilboy Juderías and Ivan Speedy Camacho, and last but not least Leonel Stoney Baez. These four people are the most important people of the Tiny Alley Hitters movement and were often labeled as the early founders of the crew. As the group continued to build infamy around Mirror Park and the outside of Mirror Park, they caught the attention to another street gang in Mirror Park that went by E/S Temerario 14. The delinquents began to hang out with the E/S Temerario 14 after school leading them to hang out mostly all the time and build ties with them. Later down the line, most of the clique members got affiliated and joined up with E/S Temerario 14. The members that were originally claiming Tiny Alley Hitters and just joined up E/S Temerario 14, wanted to continue there clique and make it a separate clique in Temerario 14. This proposal ended up being declined by E/S Temerario 14, which led to the members feeling like they were betraying there history. Most of the past members of Temerario decided to split from that, and continue to make there own thing which led to the formation of Mirror Park Criminals 13. The two gangs have been bitter rivals ever since.
