Ye, and for that matter IFM schemes are better in that regard. Apply once, showcase your RP on the thread. Nothing has to be given as the rewards are IG but a sense of quality control can be enforced that way.

yes please, matter of fact make it an IFM scheme where the only thing you get is the permission to do that RP (anything else can be handled IG). The moment extortion becomes unsustainable because the criminal wants TOO much money, is when the criminal itself is fucking up because his goals should be to 1. Be a parasite that benefits off of his victim and 2. Control his sphere of influence through SMART extortion. yes please

Listen folks, I rp primarily around OCGs, if by god people are doing the early 2000s style extortion of 'gimme money or i'll break your bones' in 2023 then they should get whats coming for them (indictments and RICOs). That's the single quickest way someone's going to get arrested and purely, by virtue of this type of RP its unrealistic that it is so successful on this server. Modern day extortion (as someone said anyway) is far more sophisticated. It's unions, forced relationship between the business owner n the gangster and actual services that you and the business owner benefit from. And yes, someone also said that a civilian doesn't 'snitch' but the criminal was being careless and it's 100% the truth. Civilians don't abide by the same laws that criminals do and the fact that some people choose to kill civilians that go to the police after having been extorted, is pretty much baffling (yes, removing a witness is logical, but IRL this type of extortion is so not worth it that it's plainly regarded to even attempt and anything else that happens as a result of said extortion is also regarded). It's the disconnect between the current protection that the civilians can receive from the Law Enforcement, and what other criminals are allowed that gets me riled up so much. Matter of fact, extortion can be a very fun experience for both parties so long as it is done as it should be. deuces said my piece
