  1. This already happens to be fair. Even if you’re not an illegal character
  2. I don't think they're saying that they'd go on a killing spree, but this is a reason for a lot of cop shootings. If this turned into a large-scale shootout? That's one thing. If you're worried about OOC deterrance, just have these events be CKable for the initiator. Ie; I get pulled over by cop 27, I have a ounce of weed on me and a gun. The cop does not suspect that I have these items, but I'm paranoid as all hell. As a result, I shoot at the officer without warning. The cop decks me in the head, killing my character; Dunkersplay has been killed. That is the best way to deter this. It handles the situation IC, only presents itself as high-risk high-reward to the illegal character (The reward being you don't go to prison, the risk being a CK), and only ends in a PK for the officer who otherwise is dumbfounded to why they just got gunned down. While lobsided towards LEOs, it provides IC experience, enables IC events & consequences from these actions. Ironically enough, enabling random shootings like this would only work against criminal RPers, and would justify the over-response of LEO rpers to simple traffic stops (I've noticed a ton of times that LEOs like to dogpile 3-4 squad cars for simple traffic stops. This at least provides IC justification)

  4. -1. As someone whose characters often end up with "bullet in head syndrome" (a very chronic disease); Headshots are headshots for a reason. While a state of injury does provide more RP for all involved parties, to remove that OOC risk of death is to remove a level of OOC fear, which helps with everyones portrayal of fear RP. (Especially those in a Play 2 Win environment). If you don't want to get shot in the head, don't put yourself in the position to be shot in the head.
  5. 270. All previous conditions apply.
  6. 260,000. As stated prior, will withdraw if no final bidding date established upon next ((bump)) recognition of bid.
  7. The issue with this, is simply the OOC nightmare that will become of this. I’m a big advocate for handling everything IC, and I really do disagree with a lot of the overreach by FMs. When it comes to this stance though, the first thing that you’ll see is PD members & Faction members try to figure out if their FMs will even let them do a CK war against one another, and then; It just comes to OOC forum drudgery between all of the parties trying to appeal their deaths. I know the same argument can be had about banning people and the appeals process, but it’s just something that you don’t see performed in GTAW. Realistically? The FBI & probably the national guard would have been called in by this point. There’s two bombings + a bomb-involved prison plot within 2 months of each other; Crime is to a point where it’s easier to assume someone’s a gangster rather than a normal person. This also comes to an RP Quality issue, where we see 13 year olds going into bars DEMANDING a beer and preparing to PK people if they don’t get what they want. GTAW at its core is still a game. I’ve tried touting realism before just as you are trying to cite, and as it stands? It just seems like there’s this weird half-measure.
  8. Agreed, but also disagreed. It would lead to a lot of unnecessary shootings & PKs if people were allowed to do it freely, however at the same time? If you look at most traffic stop related shootings, a lot are just because someone was paranoid or had only a teener bag in their car. San Antonio & Miami seem to have a really bad track record for this one as well, so I can't imagine what it must be like in LA. I think this was just implemented for the gameplay element, to stop random faction #27 from shotcopping PD.
  9. Honestly, couldn't see myself doing LEO or EMS RP in the server. It sounds like it involves a lot of OOC familiarization & paperwork, which demeans the value between realism and fun (at least for me). For those who do it? I find nothing but respect.
