  3. This would be my suggested idea. Pay a higher percentage price for the banks to allow you to finance it.
  4. Detailed Description: We currently have the lease system in the dealership which allows us to lease the vehicle. However, there is no "buyout" option to pay the remainder portion of the vehicle if you choose to keep the car. In the current system you'll be leasing the vehicle forever and still keep paying the same monthly installment. My suggestion is simple, make it so we are able to lease the vehicle for X amount of months and at the end of X amount of months we get a 'buyout' option just like in the real world when you're leasing/financing a vehicle. This will only help the person out if they wish to have a vehicle and own it outright but doesn't have the funds to pay for the vehicle. However, just like in the real world, cash equals to no interest rate but when you're leasing/financing a vehicle through a dealership an interest rate is imposed and the vehicle would be sold to you at a higher price because of interest. To make lease-to-buy fair, the player must have a 50% down-payment of the vehicle available at hand, they'll finance the remainder 50% this is to avoid any possible abuse from the system. Relevant Commands/Items: No command in-game. How will it benefit the server? Players can finance or lease to own a vehicle without straining most of their funds to purchase an expensive car. Instead they can pay it monthly overtime and have the ability to pay out the whole vehicle at the end of their lease or within their lease terms. This will create more realism and give players an option to purchase a desired vehicle they want at in partial payments every month.

  7. Dude this thread is about SAPR and not LSSD stop derailing the topic with your baseless finger pointing please. staying OT: This topic is about how we can improve SAPR to better fit the server. I can tell you have done zero research on how these agencies operate then go to an open forum to embarass yourself with the little information you know. If you have any inquiries regarding rules with IC corruptions in factions you should maybe talk to the faction leaders directly.
  8. I find it funny to be truthful how we (the community) tries to simulate fictional Los Angeles and its counties but yet completely neglect to acknowledge the importance of CHP in Los Angeles. SAPR already does exactly what CHP would do. They are routinely catching speeders on the highway and act as a 3rd LEO function. Their priority isn't protecting wildlife, when they pull someone over in the freeways. It's just silly tbh.. Park Rangers acting as highway patrol, since when was that realistic? In this case since people barely hunt and visit the parks to justify the faction in this case it will be common sense to rename the faction to SAHP. They'll serve a better purpose all together.
  9. Thats what i'm saying too, it can't get much worse. Just curious why are we stuck in LS-RPs 2017 era when it comes to firearms licencing. It's basically a step back from realism.
  10. I guess the only explanation is they're afraid this will hurt the server with more easy guns, its not like obtaining a PF isn't hard at all. There's one solution to this problem, just like the real world. Increase the CCW cost so much that it will make the average person think twice if they want to invest in one. Problem solved.
  11. Yep the Castle Doctrine Stand-Your-Ground law. The majority of states, however California and New York are not Castle Doctrine they're "Duty to Retreat". Meaning taking someone's life is the last resort unless you clearly cannot run away from the crime and must use lethal force to protect your own life. As in Florida since we're a Castle Doctrine, If someone breaks into my home whether armed or unarmed I can take that persons life because he broke into my home. It has to be a forceable entry however. It's crazy how the south is, our home is protected under the Castle Doctrine. If you do this in California or New York you'll be charged with a felony murder, crazy..
  12. Yeah no worries bro, I respect that. Nothing wrong with learning, we don't have degrees in 'life' lol. But yeah, the EU in my opinion is much safer then the U.S. because there is less guns and less Tyranny from police. Actually having a gang in Mirror Park is unrealistic as hell. Who told you that was realistic? Literally people who live in MP buy homes for 3-4 Million GTA:W currency. I would assume people who live there are middle class. I have no idea why we have a gang in MP and crime for that nature. There should be a control of where gangs can roam around etc, its like saying in the real world we have an active gang in 'Beverly Hills" where all the actors and millionaires buy their homes. Just not realistic at all.
  13. That is exactly our point.... No offense bro, nothing directly at you btw.; much love to you. But people like you created LS-RP and moved on to GTA:World, not you necessarily but hopefully you get my point; with no idea on how the U.S. side of things really work. I play the game as is and respect whatever the owners bring to the table. But I am voicing my opinion here that this is exactly whats wrong with this server, "I assumed, I thought, oh thats how it works here in the EU". It's far from how it is in the States. The U.S. is very gun happy lol. I wish I can show you a picture, you can buy a burger, get a haircut and next door is a gun-shop so you can buy yourself a firearm and some ammo and call yourself an "American"; it's weird I know, we're protecting ourselves from Tyranny. LS-RP was a server to be known to have a hybrid mixture of the U.S. and a bit of European taste to it. I remember we had the "HSIU" unit in the LSPD. Where we had a Cheetah/The Bullet" to chase after criminals in sports cars. I found that to be hilarious, obviously it was phased off at the last years of the server before it died down.
  14. You're missing the bigger point here, it's not being obsessed with guns, We're mimicking the United States (San Andreas is a fictional make believe of non fictional California) and here in the states the 2nd Amendment is huge /This is why, if you haven't already figured the game has a bunch of "Ammunation Stores" across the map, because Rockstar Dev made it a comical perspective of how the US is like. The game is literally a comical version of the U.S. people oversee that for whatever reason. Additionally It's our constitutional right to bare arms and we're trying to make the server a little more realistic by removing the Good Cause Justification that was eliminated about a year or so ago. Nothing wrong with that. My point is... Why mimic a real life country into a game and not keep up with the constant changes? And yes, the CCW process here in GTA:W is nothing like the real world anymore. It used to be a thing maybe 3 years ago because California was, once upon a time a strict state to obtain a gun license. However things changed now, it just costs a lot of money because we don't want the average person carrying a firearm.
  15. I mean yeah, this is what happens when there's certain people in power in this server who try to mimic the United States and its laws, but doesn't keep up with the changes within because they have little to no understanding of the US laws. That or they put a blind eye into it afraid of server repercussions making it easier to access a CCW. I assume they have access to the news just as much as we do here in the US, who knows. Additionally this community was created by a small group of people who came from the old LS-RP in 2017. So they kept all their old ways of thinking and slapping a roleplay jacket to justify it just as you stated. The server is extremely far from realism and I live in the state of Florida moving from New York (The Anti 2nd Amendment State). It literarly took me 2 weeks to get my CPL here in the sunshine state. I went to a Gun Range, signed up for their CCW class it was a 3 hour course, got my Firearms Proficiency Certificate took my Certificate to the FWC (Florida Wildlife Conservatory) Office here in Florida; got fingerprinted, they took my picture presented my US Citizenship (i.e a passport is enough) and my social security card along with my Florida Drivers License. As long as your background clears, it literarly took me 2 weeks to get my CPL, now I can legally carry any amount of firearm I please, of-course it has to be concealed as Florida does not have an Open Carry law (Unless you're hunting/camping/fishing). I assume obviously we're mimicking California, however like explained previously due to the SCOTUS case, Bruen vs. NYPSA all states are now "Shall Issue" and the CCW reasoning justification was removed because it was unconstitutional of our 2nd Amendment right to bare arms. I can school these kids all day, but honestly I feel that they won't change the current gun system assuming this will affect the server with more guns. I mean, then raise your prices. The 1,080$ I came up with was a YouTube video I saw about the cost of a California CCW, I believe its dependent on the county. I don't live in California so I could be wrong with the pricing.
  16. Not sure why we still enforce the 'good cause' for CCW, when in the real world all of the 50 states have gone from "May Issue to Shall Issue" states. Especially after Bruen v. New York Rifle & Pistol Association https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/20-843_7j80.pdf it was determined in the SCOTUS Supreme Court that this is unconstitutional and goes against the 2nd Amendment for the right to bare arms. Not sure if Los Santos will be included as a fictional state that was impacted by Bruens case. But if you look at the LASD website / NYPD as an example (https://lasd.org/ccw/), they have to adjust their CCW application to remove the 'good cause' portion followed by Bruen v. NYRPA However, most states have discretion to increase their CCW fees to obtain a license. For example, in California it would cost you about $1,080 to obtain a CCW from beginning to end, and comes with a nice whopping 600$ renewal fee, to keep your CCW every 2 years. This is done so you don't have someone in poor low income areas getting easy access to a CCW and you'll think twice about paying for a firearm license. Since we're roleplaying a fictional city in California, make it according to GTA$ currency. So, 1,000$ will realistically be 100,000K$ for a license, with a 60K renewal fee plus all the hurtles to be competent with a firearm, i.e. go to a firearms course etc., not sure if someone would rather pay 100K for a license or buy a car with that.
  17. Piggy backing on Late, aside from the UI it'll be nice to get a warning line indicating said TFR and location. This is a must needed addition to enhance aviation RP in the server.
