I don't personally have a visual impairment and I still have to occasionally turn the camera to read chat. Options like these should hopefully be a low burden on the development front and add greatly to user convenience. +1

Honestly not a bad idea, could be a happy medium. Someone trying to act AFK when you're in a room with them ICly would be difficult.

This would be useful from an admin perspective, as has already been said - but for the general population? No, unfortunately the potential for abuse is too high in my opinion.

Capability already exists for admins to delete advertisements, so I can't see it being a huge stretch to extend the ability to the advertisment author themselves. Definitely support.

I wouldn't mind seeing civilian self defense options expanded outside of carrying a gun or a knife, as these options offer little in way of de-escalating a situation in most circumstances. We'd have to iron out the details of how the pepper spray works in terms of how it'd affect it's victims, but I like the idea. Like was said here, I find it unlikely a one-click ragdoll like a taser or stun-gun will ever be made broadly available to curb abuse.

This isn't true at all. There are numerous factions that are supported by LFM that aren't associated with the government or LEOs. That being said, it's hard to accurately encompass the concerns of a wide variety of legal roleplayers. We're far from perfect, so if there's something specific we can help with, please reach out. Otherwise, I assure you we're working diligently to try to make the server enjoyable for everybody.

Characters who treat their vehicle(s) like a core aspect of their personality. There's a huge difference between IC car culture and trying to show off your e-moniez. I see you've spent 300 hours straight trucking, and I couldn't be less impressed with your Elegy.

I want to become a better mallrat.

As both a staff member and member of SD, this is high on the priority list. I don't have further details or a timeline for you, but myself and others have been very vocal that this is something we sorely need, and it's been acknowledged.

I have a character I RP living out of a van. I spent more money making the van look run down and terrible than it would have cost to buy and "max out" a sports model and try to be a cool kid. The RP that's come out of being a character with flaws, rather than another cookie cutter supermodel business entrepreneur has been both fun and incredibly rewarding. I just wish people would realize there's nothing to "win" here. There's no race to the best car, no money threshold that displays "congratulations, game over". People should slow down, enjoy the journey and let the RP dictate whether you're successful or not. A bit off topic perhaps, but these topics often go hand in hand. Do what you want with your vehicles if that's what you enjoy, but if you aren't here to tie it into character portrayal of some kind, there's much easier avenues outside of RP for these types of desires.
