While the cause of the vehicle fire remains in mystery due to investigation, the LSFD's remarkable efforts ensured that the flames were contained, sparing a nearby RV from the inferno. (Pictured Above: Traffic was closed to ensure proper response) The incident began when residents reported the fire around 00:40 with the sudden eruption of flames from a parked vehicle. The vehicle, a pickup truck, was in flames within moments, raising alarm among the residents. Concerned citizens quickly called 911, summoning the LSFD to the scene, where engine 52 was already on the scene at 00:53. The LSFD's response was fast and organized. The operation's key strategy: Spike Technique. This dramatic event happened two nights ago, showcasing the dedication of the Sheriff's department to stop the speeding vehicle that was putting in danger, not only itself but innocent civilians as well. (Pictured Above: Vehicle after being spiked by Sheriff's department) The story began when the patrol saw the presence of a notorious driver who was breaking every possible law, driving recklessly. The evader, whose identity was kept confidential, had managed to outmaneuver law enforcement on multiple occasions, leaving the bypassers in distress. Additional units were immediately dispatched to engage in the pursuit, in order to stop the skilled evader, who was giving them trouble at the beginning. We don't have the exact information regarding the length of the pursuit, but we believe that the suspect could be a part of a street racing team, judging by the modifications on the vehicle itself. VIGILANT SHOOTOUT IN RANCHO (WARNING : EXPLICIT CONTENT) ((bodies would be blurred out)) Written by Tiana Reeves Photography by Jason Reeves - 20th September 2023 (Pictured Above: Scene upon our arrival) Rancho is known for not being the safest part of our city, where shootings occur daily and the crime rate is record high. We witnessed a shooting occurring next to the law enforcement station, which caught, even us by surprise. Crying calls for help, upset friends and family around the scene, a vehicle with bullet holes, and crime scene tape, looked like an event from a well-directed movie, which sadly it wasn't. (Pictured Above: Two dead bodies along with the vehicle damaged by bullets) Upon our arrival on the scene, we found a white sultan with marks of bullets and two dead bodies next to it. It was pretty clear that these two were not regular citizens, by the way they were dressed, it's easy to conclude that they were gang members. We could not get too many details from the Sheriff's Department, considering that the investigation is still in progress, but the scenes were pretty self-explanatory. An alleged gang shoot-out was in progress when the Sheriff decided to act to prevent it. Judging by the blood spatters, we believe that there could've been one or two more suspects who were able to get away, leaving four Sheriffs wounded, one of them in critical condition from what we could've seen. Keep in mind this isn't an official statement, but just our view and opinion on what could've happened. We would like to wish the sheriffs quick recovery, and to advise citizens to avoid this area at night as much as possible, as not to end up like an accidental victim in the shootout. TUNNELS UNDER MT. CHILIAD? Written and recorded by Team Rocket - 04th September 2023 Following recent tips and some conspiracy theories, we've recently discovered two tunnels in the tunnel that connects Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay. We don't know who "owns" the tunnels, or who built them, but one thing is certain, these tunnels were not abandoned. We've found traces of a "break room", where there were clear signs of recent usage of the room, as well as clock-in and clock-out cards. As you can see in our video, we were not able to enter any door, because it seems the door were disabled on purpose. T01 and T02 are still a mystery since we couldn't figure out what exactly they mean. The Los Santos Fire Department (LSFD) yesterday opened its doors to the public for a career fair, offering a unique opportunity for citizens to look into the heart of the department. This event provided all interested parties with an opportunity to peek inside the department and get information on what they can expect if they decide to become part of the team. After a warm welcome, we were introduced to many departments within the LSFD. (Pictured Above: Training and recruitment division next to community liaison office) Training & Recruitment Division: Firefighting is a demanding profession that requires dedicated and skilled individuals. The Training & Recruitment Division plays a crucial role in nurturing new talents and improving the skills of existing members. Their dedication to ensuring that the LSFD is always ready to respond to any emergency is truly astonishing. Community Liaison Office: The heart of any fire department should be within connection with the community it serves. LSFD's Community Liaison Office specializes in building a bridge between the community and the department. From hosting events to writing press releases, their work is important in maintaining a strong bond with the people.
