Hong Lan Association 紅蘭堂 aims to portray a realistic and predominantly Chinese-American organized crime group (tong) in Textile City, Chinatown. We emphasize character development and authentic scenes, with a community center serving as a hub for cultural and social activities. Our faction concept offers both illegal and legal characters an atmosphere to grow and thrive, allowing each character to find their way and progress within our structure, maintaining Chinatown's public idea of working upstanding citizens as a front. Everything is handled strictly in-game, with recruitment and progression entirely in-character and varying in duration based on interactions. While Chinese characters are preferred, we welcome individuals of all genders and Asian backgrounds, as we aim to portray a diverse group of seasoned and up-and-coming criminals and upstanding citizens, so long as these characters maintain our concept of second or third generation Asian-Americans working together in a tightly knit Asian community.
