  1. Our server sided clothes doesn't replace GTA base clothing, it just adds on. In a perfect world we'd have enough clothes to never need mods, but it just won't happen.
  2. Hey, so I've recently seen a handful of factions move towards super good replacement modpacks, down to the same texture, arms, etc to avoid clothing coming out as checkerboards, missing arms. When roleplaying in and around these factions, it's refreshing, because for the last few years roleplaying around gang roleplayers is just awful due to the replacements. Why isn't this the standard? I understand the lack of server side clothes, but you can really make it work with 15-20 pants, shirts that are really well replaced. I think people should start getting told by admins to change their outfits when they're outrageous to the point of ruining immersion for everyone except their faction.
  3. At that point it's not the lack of fear roleplay its just blatant poor roleplay, not really relevant to the discussion here. I can't speak for other factions but SD's ES/CS is always open to feedback and complaints regarding issues like this. Instead of shooting someone who is obviously trolling or lacks the comprehension to roleplay a cop, why not just file a report? I've seen several individuals removed for issues way less than the one you've described.
  4. I've roleplayed a gang cop for over a year now, I've also roleplayed in several illegal factions (mostly gangs). A lot of you on this thread and looking at this from a biased perspective. Interacting with gangs in 2023 can feel like you're interacting with a brick wall that has been influenced from a few bigger factions to push this 'anti-cop' mentality. This mentality isn't a problem but it gets a bit outrageous when you want to shoot cops and then make general discussion threads about how cops don't roleplay fear at all. You have factions opening up and within a week of opening they're 'jura killer', its just getting out of hand. There's cops who lack the proper knowledge of gang roleplayers and as a result get themselves into foolish scenarios and there's gang roleplayers who want to shoot cops all day and then play victim. Where do you draw the line with shooting cops? It's a very serious charge, especially when a lot of times you aren't just killing one cop, you're killing several often times with your gang. With that being said, I would much rather an IC solution such as more police presence in areas targeting gangs that are shooting cops but as a result you're going to get more general discussion threads; "Why are cops camping Davis?" "Why aren't these cops RPing fear?".
  5. It's really a combination of lack of resources as mentioned, there's no black mods, the amount of guns supplied to black factions is far fewer than other groups even if there's more in one demographic than the other; and the mentalities that have taken over the black scene. There's a handful of good factions 83 Hoover, SSCC, Avalons, and several others but a lot of the people who made those great just don't entertain the scene anymore. Why? FiveM'ers and people who have no urge to roleplay but rather make DM videos and engage in OOC beefs have taken over and ruined the scene. This isn't the same with the Sureno scene, a lot of people in that scene have been in it for 10+ years. As opposed to the black scene where people have just migrated over in the past 2-3 years and let their egos ruin it.
  6. Once upon a time, in the virtual world of GTA:WORLD, there was a man named Cbones. He had been away on vacation overseas and was excited to get back into the game. However, upon his arrival, he found out that his faction, Westside Longos 13, was still not official. Cbones was angry and frustrated that his hard work and dedication had not paid off. He began to lose his cool and went on a spree, causing havoc on the server. He robbed and looted, causing chaos and unrest in the virtual world. As he continued with his rampage, he began to realize the error of his ways. He understood that his actions weren't the solution to his problem. He knew that he had to find a way to channel his frustration and anger in a more constructive way. Determined to find a resolution, Cbones gathered his faction members and started to work together. They brainstormed ideas and came up with a plan to launch a massive campaign and show their presence on the server. The plan worked, and Westside Longos 13 finally became an official faction. Cbones realized that to achieve great things, one must be patient and persistent. He learned that there are more productive ways to handle challenges. From that day on, Cbones became a respected leader in the virtual world of GTA:WORLD, known for his determination, passion, and ability to overcome obstacles.
  7. It's absurd to me that you guys are saying black factions are 'DM' factions, some of my best interactions over the past few months were with Madd Swans, and I didn't get shot once (even though I arrested them countless times). The bias is blatantly clear but the culture in the black scene is also to blame somewhat, certain individuals have plagued the scene and ruined it with their horrible mentality. For example: There are several white roleplay suppliers, mostly skinheads, which will never supply black factions, let's be honest. There are several Sureno roleplayers that have suppliers, they also aren't going to supply black factions. There's a handful of black suppliers but it just isn't enough, the scene has been neglected for too long. Another thing that irks me is the lack of mods for black roleplayers, there aren't any. There isn't one single decent black hair on the entire server and very few clothes. I myself hate roleplaying with people who have mods in because if you take screenshots they are going to come out looking goofy. - You can't just blame the admins either though, longevity in black factions is something that needs to improve. People just jump ship every few weeks from faction to faction when another one opens, completely abandoning their previous concept. I would love to see more love shown to black roleplay and a mentality shift within players in the scene as well.
  8. Guess we were just a bunch of Training Day roleplayers after all...
