Here at, W/S Byrd Gang, we tend to bring a realistic atmosphere of gang roleplay to the area we roleplay in. As a faction, we will not condone rule breakers, or anyone skipping development and trying to force their way to make a character that just isn't realistic. The faction is heavily based around character development and the lives of our members that live in a gang infested area that at any time they could be dead or in jail. WELCOME TO THE SWANS! The West Side Byrd Gang is a South Los Santos African American street gang. Byrd Gang, also known as "Mad Swans," were founded in 1973. Their original name was the "77 Main Street Swans," and their area stretched from Covenant avenue to Brouge avenue. Surrounded by Crip rivals, the newest generation of the swans departed from the '77 Main Street Swans" and moved to Forum drive, Crystal Heights Apartment complex in the early 2000s. As time went on they switched to the 84 Mad Swan Bloods (MSB). HISTORY Two African-American males robbed a 24-hour convenience store in South Los Santos on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. The Los Santos Police Department's search of the two armed robbers had been dry and pointless until today. Carmelo Hill, a reputed “Mad Swan Bloods” gang member, was one of the armed menimage1.jpg involved in the 24-hour robbery, police discovered, while the other gunman LEOs are unaware of the situation Earlier in the investigation, investigators discovered multiple fingerprints on the counter in addition to the cash register, prints on the bullets fired (including two in the cashier's kneecap), and handprints on the convenience store's front door. Officials took action after discovering a white 2003 Toyota Corolla sedan outside of Carmelo Hill's home on Forum Drive that appeared to be similar to the getaway vehicle used at the scene. The next night, the LSPD took the suspect [Hill] into custody. The Mad Swans Don't really get along with a lot of gangs in Los Santos. The 18th Street Gang, the Avalon Gangster Crips, the Kitchen Crips, all Main Street Mafia Crips, all Hoover Criminals, the Compton Avenue Crips, the 73 Gangster Crips, 73 Hustler Crips, and the East Coast Crips are among the Crips who are their main competitors. The Swans, like many other Blood gangs, have fought other Blood gangs, such as the 52 Pueblo Bishop Bloods and the 92 Be-Bop Watts Bloods. They are very close with the chamberlin family, the Centinela park family, and is known as the "Family Alliance" or "The Family Gang". here are two separate Blood gangs that have amalgamated to create the Family Swan Bloods: the Mad Swan Bloods, who are located from 77th Street North to 84th Street South and the Neighborhood Family Bloods, who are from 89th Street North to 92nd Street South (aka the "89/92 Families"). The Swans rapidly moved across many States and Cities in America, in particular the mid-west and east coast (The Swans have been active in the east coast since the late 1980's). O.G. Puppet Loko and Lanky Blood from 79th Street started the first Mad Swan Blood sub set in Southeast Aurora. From there, Puppet Loko relocated to New York and recruited members. There was also members like Madd Rabbit and Baby Mouse who started a subset in Arizona and K-Glock who started a subset in Texas. Most Family Swan Bloods subset outside of Los Angeles originated from these five members. The Mad Swan Bloods were originally named the "77 Main Street Swans", and their territory ran from Main Street all the way up and down 77th and Manchester. A subset of the Swans called the "84 Main Street Swans", who were surrounded heavily by Crip rivals, Strayed away from the main gang and ended up becoming a part of the "Main Street Mafia Crips" in the late 70's, thus making them bitter rivals at the time. Although the Swans are a part of the "Family Alliance", that did not stop them from beefing with other blood sets in their area. These gangs included; "Bounty Hunter Watts Bloods", The '52 Pueblo Bishop Bloods' as well as the '92 Pueblo Bishop Bloods'. As well , on June 16th, 2009, The Mad Swan Bloods were involved in a gang injunction in an attempt to rid the area of gang activity around Fremont High School, located on 76th Street and San Pedro Street. The other gangs included in the injunction were; The 'Main Street Mafia Crips', the '73 Hustler Crips', the '73 Gangster Crips', as well as 'Florencia 13'. #KENNYSWORLD Kenny Henderson is a 17-year-old black male from Mad Swans Bloods. He was well respected in the Crystal Heights apartments for his activities in the hood, such as murders, robberies, drug deals, and so forth. The younger generation always looked up to him in the late 2000s. He died on a late rainy night in a police chase, it was April-23rd-2016/ 11:34 PM. He was trying his best to get away from the rain, the rain caused his tries to get slippery and he lost control which made him spin out and hit his head on the steering wheel, his vision got blurry so he found his way out of the car and tried his best to run off, knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere he turned around and let off shots towards the cop's direction, he hit one cop in the shoulder and the rest of the cops shot him over 60 times all over the body. that is where the saying "60 shots behind Kenny" came from.
