  1. I feel like comments like these is why people crash out over wars, they see it as TDM instead of RP. This is also why people cheat and break the rules to get a couple PKs off. The whole notion of killing "locals" during a war and using "bystanders get killed all the time" as an excuse is also funny considering the rate of death in the game. Sure let's allow people to just kill randoms two day into RP because they were seen once or twice RPing with a faction, I'm sure that'd want them to keep on wanting to roleplay in a gang or black gang rp in general to be specific (the demographic this is mostly affected by). If wars were roleplay'd properly, I'd agree to some sort of consequence to losing them, I also think that some sort of OOC video should be provided before a kill is deemed valid if you want to punish people for losing wars, even still it's just gonna add to the ego trip trying to win a war already has and people will go through leaps and bounds to win them.
  2. As I said this isn't to bash you in anyway, this is just a near perfect example. These reports were left on the back burner, they've been up for three weeks now.
  3. We've had numerous reports lasting weeks, first I was like "it might be a Twitch streamer thing where they have a platform so their reports might get handled earlier for good press" but then I realized that Banknotes who has more viewers, had a report up for three weeks and nobody responded to it. Now if you look at this person reports you can see that they are usually handled on the same day, even in game her reports get handled in 2 minutes. I'm not trying to bash this specific person but they're the perfect example. I'm not trying to bash the admin team in any way I understand that you have a big workload, but my point is shouldn't there be some sort of structure when handling forum reports like a queue or something? It's unfair to players to see reports getting handled so quickly when they have to wait three or four weeks to get a response on theirs. Discuss.
  4. What's the point of not breaking the rules if people get unbanned so easily or don't even get punished. Multiple warnings are given, you're expected to be exemplary but you still manage to get off after making a convincing appeal or something when you get banned, I think there would be less rule breaking in general if the server was stricter. I think perma bans should be removed and actual times should be set as we know perma bands are not permanent, you should force people to do a set amount of time before they can even appeal. It's hard to play the server and follow the rules when you know 7/10 people are not doing that and just getting a slap on the wrist and then they'll just continue to do the same things.
  5. One life would work in a near perfect RP server which is impossible. I think it'd just increase the admin work load, people will still kill over the slightest of things, especially people who know they can just nc if anything goes wrong. We're going off topic though.
  6. could give cops special permissions as they would not be looting for guns in any circumstance and 99.9% of their looting interactions would be realistic.
  7. I think that the looting script does more harm than good, people just group up over a body ready to press Y at any given instance. It should at least be limited to indoors and outside of hotspots in the city if possible. I think that the script is just an extra hassle for everyone including staff members.
  8. this is probably gonna get locked but I do agree that more representation is needed for other aspects of rp, say what you want about cop admins not being bias but we're all human and this is a voluntary job of course you're going to have a bias towards the people you always roleplay with, it happens in big ass cooperations where a lot more is at stake and I'm 100% sure it's happening here too. The only way to deal with it is to employ people who don't roleplay as cops, there's probably hundreds of them who don't even bother applying because they already know the outcome.
  9. Do people actually read role-play screenshots? (not just watching the screens, also but read the RP lines) If so what is usually a turnoff and what captivates you to actually read through them? Me personally if it's bloated with unneeded text, I wouldn't read it unless the lines have a real story behind them. I think a general consensus gives players an idea of what to focus on when making screens and I think we need this because I'm not just posting screens to post them, I want people to see the rp my faction has to offer.
