Detailed Description As it stands, we have a lot of radio channels in use and it is an unorganised mess; - People troll, entering random radio channels to bother its users for the sake of OOC enjoyment (this has happened many times before). - There are ''idle'' channels; occupied by characters but not being used actively. Users are mostly namechanged characters that used the channels mostly before the namechange. - Anyone can enter any channel, while there are ways to secure such channels IRL. For exemple; whitelisting radio devices. I propose a complete overhaul of the /r system as an alternative of the still widely ignored VHF radio suggestion found here. - Channels are able to be registred to a user, who is able to whitelist ''devices'' (scriptwise, players) to their channel, after which these players can do /setfreq [slot] [freq] - Channel owners are able to remove devices from the whitelist whenever possible, however due to IRL technical limitations the channel owner must have roleplay carried out to either take the device or have its channel changed. The user cant be kicked out. However, Im open to that still being an option. Players can still join and talk in an unregistred channel; but that would exactly be like the current system; unmanaged and unprotected. To avoid cluttering and mass-registring, a user could be limited to two registred channels, more bought with world points or by administrative permission. Relevant Commands/Items /registerchannel [freq] /unregisterchannel [freq] /whitelistchanneluser (/wcu) [player id] /blacklistchanneluser (/bcu) [player id] How will it benefit the server? - Less OOC trolling masked by IC comments on random radio stations. - No random ''hacking'' of official channels such as any of the legal faction ones. - Things such as aVHF radio can become a thing within an already existent system
  2. Added to the suggestion to have no profit cap on fishing for fishing companies. I simply can not operate a company at around 3K profit per run, period.

Detailed Description Add the trucker scipt, but for fishing too. - You are able to rent a Tug, but you'll only get 80% commission. - You can buy a Tug, without joining a fishing company, which would get you 85 or 90% commission. - You can join a fishing company, which will allow you to use the company fleet, aswell as earn a higher commission. Also allow these fishing companies to sell their catches to third parties. Aswell, remove the profit cap from the fishing job for maritime/fishing companies. You can not expect us to even breakeven when 1 fishing tour gives us 3K at best while we maintain a larger fleet. At the moment, a maritime company is not something people generally start as theres no need for them. Asfar as I'm even aware, my company is the only one to excist on larger scale. This will give people reasons to start or join fishing companies / maritime companies; - More profit. - Free access to company vehicles. - Random John Doe with sports cars doesn't randomly buy a Tug anymore to suddenly become a fisherman as it isnt profitable for him anymore. - fishing / maritime companies are able to provide OOC quality control on their members, allowing for better RP guarentee by its fishers. - I'd dare say fishing companies would be even more profitable than trucking companies, giving more motivation to create one. - Creates roleplay for Park Rangers and Port Authority. Relevant Commands/Items - Trucking script adjusted to Tugs and implemented as above. How will it benefit the server? Explained above
  4. Then why not simply include the music video with the actual screenshots, instead of posting a random music video with no further screenshots in the same post? Bothers me too, I don't see the use of it apart from bumping your thread. Ban standalone music video posts in faction threads. Allow them if the same post contains roleplay screenshots. +1

  6. It would be nice to be able to register a second bank account if you own a business without a business script (like being an attorney, or my maritime business). Right now everything goes through personal accounts and that normally would be a huge red flag with the IRS. Having the abillity to have 1 business account without any requirements apart from a business registration would be great.

  8. I actually really enjoyed finally being able to see who is a minor and who isn’t, like in real life, without needing to /ex the 50+ guests Temple Tokyo had today! Tbh let it stay on the nametags and the chatnames. It works as intended. First time in a club my 31 year old wasnt hit on by a 15 year old. And this isnt sarcasm or satirical.
  9. Hello everyone! The previous topic I made (HERE) was made in a rushed manner, and I had it locked when it became horribly outdated. With the new fishing update, maritime has gotten a big overhaul and I feel like a topic like this is warranted. It is important in that the community as a whole is able to give their input about this niche subject of roleplay in roder for us all to improve on the matter! People will be able to leave their feedback here, negative and positive. Just please be courteous; no bashing or nameshaming! ❤️ Before the fishing update, the Maritime sector was, quite literally, dead. We ofcourse had the Los Santos Marina Yacht Club, but that was about it. Their purpose was to provide a home and a roleplay environment around yacht ownership, which was and still is an amazing concept. But before the fishing update, this was the only Maritime activity we had. When the fishing update was deployed, the Tug saw its major entry for real into the maritime sector! Yes, its been in the server for a while, but this was the first time a boat was given a functional purpose. This made way for the Maritime sector to florish, and boy did it florish! The waters are more active than ever, even now after the big hype has calmed down a bit. We also saw the first introduction of the first real Maritime orientated business; Seo-Hee Min's Maritime (yes, self promote much?). This business is focussed on providing a roleplay environment around an actual naval business model for both legal and illegal roleplayers. What do you think about the current maritime improvements? What could be improved? What do you think should be long and short term plans? Personally, I saw the fishing update as a good basis to expand further on. It was a great addition, but there is much more that can be done. There are countless suggestions that deserve their attention for this sector, which will be linked below. So go ahead!   14. Short description: Fix the fish selling point at Paleto Bay. Detailed description: I am not here to complain that we have to unload the fish from our boat inventory; thats actually realistic. I am here to complain about the fact that you either have to keep swimming back and forth to sell your goods, or you have to literally beach your ship and get stuck in order to sell your goods. I am assuming that is not the intended use of this selling point. I am surprised no one else reported this yet. The pier simply doesn't go far enough into the deeper ends. Either extend the pier or place the selling point elsewhere. Commands to add: None. Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? This is quite gamebreaking and requires a solution. Additional information: No hate towards the deveoper of this, he did an amazing job, but honestly the fishing points have been very poorly placed. An other one used to be palced on private property aswell.

  16. A smuggling script sounds like a really cool idea if introduced properly. We dont want too little but also not too much of it! Perhaps instead of buying a boat, criminal roleplayers could “extort” a maritime based business to help them with that.

  19. If we want to raise more interest in this type of RP ,we need more boats that are realisticly affordable to characters of the middle and lower class.
