  1. By Peter Boden Three Dead Including Police Officer in Yet Another Shooting in South Los Santos Pictures from the scene of a fatal South LS shooting on Wednesday. Another fatal shooting has occurred in South Los Santos on the doorstep of the Sheriff's Headquarters. The Los Santos Ledger was at the scene last night, bringing you the untainted information and images. This callous murder has saw three dead including one of Los Santos Police's own officers. The shooting took place around 8pm last night at a popular clothing store on Strawberry Avenue. Los Santos Police Department attended the scene where a shootout has taken place between officers and the suspects, leaving one police officer dead who is yet to be named by the department. Residents are shaken after the incident however remain unsuprised that yet another homicide has taken place in their neighbourhood. Children amongst the crowds looked on as three lives were taken in an incident that jeopardized everybody's safety in the area. No ambulances were seen at the scene, suggesting all victims lost their lives long before other first responders arrived. South Los Santos is no stranger to gun crime and the birthplace for gang violence. The battle between law enforcement and criminals rages on as violence in the area reaches a crisis point. The community are losing faith in law enforcement's efforts to keep them safe and target the gangs that rule these streets. One Strawberry resident stated "This ain't nothing new, probably the third one in the space of only a few hours. Thing that upsets me is our kids man, they're riding around seeing bodies everywhere while the kids of people who should be solving these problems live care free in their ivory towers. We're just forgotten about." Perhaps it is time for the South LS community to police itself, as law enforcement are failing. Prevention is better than cure and more intervention needs to be done to prevent these gangs grooming our children and securing their fate of becoming another gun crime statistic. A closeup of the scene, showing three victims including a police officer. What are your thoughts on the continous violence on the streets of our city?
