Amber has experienced the near death experience for numerous times in just a week which made the paranoia that have been crawling over her for a long time a lot worse. She decided to go back home to lay low for a little time now just to get a feeling of what it is to not having to look over her shoulder all the time. After all she did help hiding Freyas body which caused her to eat pills like it was candy. In such a short time she's been shot, pushed to the limit on how much she can take, had a gun to her head a few times by several different people and not to speak about the feeling of being engaged to the same man killing the poor girl. Even though Freya did talk to the cops and we will never know if she was a snitch or not now. All of the betrayals and manipulations has changed her so much over a year that even if Leon wants her to become legal and stop selling drugs the damage might already been done. Not to speak about herself betraying other people. Right now she only trust one person which isn't even Leon as when she asked him if this was another one of he's tests he just walked away. The sinister feeling of what could be a marriage is one of the reasons why she left.The thought of being normal after all that has been happening might change her to a better person or worse. The guilt of becoming a whole different person than what she actually was gonna become could always make her dig the hole deeper. The nightmare aint over yet as she will come back to Los Santos.
