Sure, we will wait for an admin to take a look at this report. I can provide full screenshots of everything being roleplayed to set up the ambush.
My character is a career criminal, fifteen years is a lot of time and at that point it might as well be a life sentence, and as mentioned previously the charges can easily land him life in prison due to gun being linked to other crimes. If you don't think fifteen years in prison is enough to make a irrational decision to shoot at a police officer, then we can just agree to disagree on that. As said before, the intention wasn't to shoot in the first place nor kill any cops, it was just going to be a distraction but was poorly communicated from me IC.
Since we will be waiting for an admin, I would like to point out that several panic alarms were pressed and not a single one was roleplayed, which unless something has changed, is against the rules.
I will PM evidence to the handling admin to clear up metagaming accusations, however I will not be able to send the screenshots here because it has sensitive information about my group, thanks.

Explanation of the incident (250 word limit): So we had a pursuit on Tomas Riveras who was stopped for driving without a license. A pursuit happened and it ended with a barricaded suspect. We paged SWAT and held the scene in cover. After a while we were being shot from different angles and it ended with 4 Officers dead one badly wounded. This is also not the first time that these kinda situations happen. I'm just wondering what the reasoning was for shooting 4 officers dead for someone who evaded and had no license. It looked like Metagaming as we were being shot from different angles at the same time keeping in mind that all the dead officers also all had mostly headshots which I find a damn good shot from the ones that were firing from BayCity Avenue.

Hey I will explain it from our side, I had no clue in character that it was only for no license, due to having three units in the area within seconds. Someone had just attempted to steal our vehicle after we tried to rob them from a previous incident which led to me shooting at them. This stop was no longer than a minute after this incident had took place, we were trying to get back to our hood to lay low when you pulled us over.
I attempted to escape, as did the others which was our first instinct, if we were truly DM hungry we would have shot Wallace the moment he pulled us over. I tried to evade but then there were 4 units on my car, which was very slow. My car had no chance of escaping and I had a gun which I fully believed the person I had shot at called the cops on us. With all of these charges (Attempted Murder, Evading, Possession of a Firearm, and Discharging a firearm) + whatever was in the property I ran into would have landed my character 15 OOC days or 15 years IC.
15 years is enough time for my character to make decisions such as shooting at police, as at that point he would rather be killed than take such a hefty time, if any of us died we would have took the CK. So I texted everyone involved (3 other people) and told them to blast at you guys, and I would run off. It was meant to be just shoot some stray shots at your vehicles so you took focus off of the door. However I had everything in my mind to believe you guys would breach any second, so I am not able to communicate every detail, I just said to shoot at you guys.
My character is Jesse Cisneros, the one who was originally pulled over and ordered the shooting, the people who shot were only following my orders, as an older gang member. If anyone is punished from this, it should only be me, however I feel like the situation got a little out of hand as it was miscommunicated from my character. I had no intentions of ordering 4+ cops to be killed.
As you can see from the videos, we shot and then got out of there, we didn't stay around for more kills or whatever, once I got out of the apartment I dashed away and we all were able to escape.
This shooting entirely should be voided however, because it happened due to a bug in the first place. The original shooting of the car jacker I learned to later be due to a MC, but it was too late to reverse it at the time.

As for the other part, @TORO please don't try to derail this thread and make us look like trolls and DMers, you have a separate report for your incident, let it be handled and it has nothing to do with this one. And the reporting party, I have no clue why you've decided to do the same thing as Toro and post irrelevant videos (none of us were even involved in that?) to try to paint a bad image as well.
I hope this response is able to clear up any confusion and reasoning from my POV In-Character, and as stated above I can agree things went completely different as to how I imagined it happening, this was due to poor IN-CHARACTER communication from my character, I said shoot to help me, and they did. I didn't want an entire team to be murdered however. This situation is all Jesse Cisneros (me)'s doing and I should be the only one held accountable in this situation. Again, I didn't see it going down like this and due to it happening to a bug in the first place, if you guys would be down to hash this out by just agreeing to void the situation we would all be okay with that as well @Wally @NukeDuck, however if this is to get us punished, we will just need to wait for an admin.
Lastly, just going to reiterate this one more time, I am sorry for this situation getting so out of hand, it was just poorly communicated to the shooters IC what exactly they should be going because I was under the impression I was on a time crunch and had mere minutes before it got raided. In the future I will try to be more careful with situations like this, so anything like this doesn't take place, because it really shouldn't have gone down like this.

Hey, Jesse here and I will be responding. I was called by a friend (Anthony Laza) who said he got grabbed. When I arrive and try to roleplay with you, you went into /b and said that you will not be roleplaying that. You continued to have a breakdown over /b and refused to roleplay anything.
As for the rest:
You tried to grab someone by the shirt who was very far away from you, for no reason other than him being Hispanic. You didn't give him a chance to roleplay, you forced the grab upon him which is powergaming.
As for the /b banter, I thought you were some troll who knew us OOCLY and was just messing around, which is why I said you will be getting permabanned. Seeing as there was already a whole lot of goof happening in the /b chat, I was just joking around, and anyone can logically see that. However I apologize for saying you are permabanned, I was just messing around as I thought you were someone else.

Many people roleplay civilians in South Los, just needs to be more local businesses and such but I see a growing number of non-gang-members roleplaying around South Los which is nice to see.. However I feel like the definition of "civ" rp is looked at differently by a lot of different people, roleplaying a civilian in Davis/Rancho is way different than a civilian who lives in Mirror Park or wherever, they are a lot more accustomed to the gangbanging culture.
Ive seen many people show up and try to roleplay civilians without actually doing their research on what they are trying to roleplay, their characters often just come across as trolls or a parody. Civilian roleplay in those areas rely a lot on the factions within the area, if you are going to open a business, its your main customer, if you are going to RP a junkie, they are likely your main supplier. If you come to Davis and RP with the wrong groups it can seem bad, but likewise if you come and your RP is more trollish a lot of these gang factions won't want to roleplay with you as much.

Stop making reports when you've lost nothing, a lot of "reports" could be solved with a simple PM to the other party and talking about whatever the issue is instead of going to a report because you can.

I do not as I didn't feel there was any reason to clip it at the time, but I am pretty sure its a very common bug for when you hop out of the car if you have a weapon equipped it shows on others screens.

Hey, Jesse here.
I would like like to start of my response by just noting that I did not have a gun in my hand on my screen, it’s a common bug when exiting the vehicle so therefore the shooting would have never took place.
Second of all, I don’t see how you would have had us pinned down in an apartment complex with over 100 apartments inside it, however if you PMed me to ask me to stay on, I would have. I waited thirty minutes which is what the rules said, and logged off because I had no clue you guys were going to breach the apartment.
As as for the blood, it wouldn’t have been there in the first place due to the gun being desync but anyways it was a mere 2 seconds after I got shot before I had entered the apartment, I was shot in the torso so it’s not like blood would just be leaking everywhere, it would be absorbed into the clothing first.

Yeah let me just /do in the middle of a shootout which PD are actively responding to within 10 seconds for most shootouts and wait for the player to respond. The way the script was always viewed by me was that injured would be that you can visible see that they are injured such as crawling or slightly moving, which is reasonable for you to shoot when you only see "Injured". As for the animations, that could work but we have a ragdoll script that was begged to be added for a long time, so no tbh.
Just keep it like it is, its not a harmful thing, if it bothers you that much visually to see just make it togglable.

You guys are completely missing the point by the original suggestion here. The port has always been a great place due to there being a wide range of illegal and legal roleplay and it sucks to see a whole avenue of roleplay (security) practically killed due to some rule change. +1

You have to roleplay it, just like anything else, how you decide it causes your character to behave / develop after the fact is all on you. I don't want to roleplay my car being wrecked or injuries because a ricer comes and smashes into my car while I am going 40 MPH and causes me to do ten flips in the air, I don't wanna roleplay that because its happened to me a million times, do I have a choice? No, just like anything else you have to roleplay it.

In my time on this server, I have noticed that illegal roleplay characters seem to be far more realistic and developed than civilians ones. There are a lot of bad illegal roleplayers who just want to dm or chain rob, but illegal rp also has a lot of 1+ ooc year characters that are extremely realistically developed as apposed to civilian roleplay. Most legal characters just seem to be job hopping from one job to another while also driving a very expensive car or the club goers who only wish to get into a relationship, or just straight up parody characters who are very troll characters that are praised for being unique.
