  1. This faction is located in El Burro Heights, Fudge Lane.
  2. BACKSTORY Varrio Nuevo Estrada 13 also known as VNEx3 is a Chicano criminal Street gang founded on El Burro Heights, East Los. The gang was first formed in the 1940's under the Sureño Allegiance in "The Death-pits", a skate park located in East Los. In the 1940's the Government relocated many poor families into East Los Santos where Varrio Neuvo Estrada 13 was first formed. VNEx3 was originally a group of teenagers whom even though in a low income area had still made the most out of their child-hood. As the teens grew older they were becoming more and more aware of gang activity and that crime levels were spiking exceedingly, but even so they kept their cool up until 1938 when the teenagers were observing a car club a large shooting erupted with multiple casualties. One of the teenagers from the group were fatally and were put into critical condition. The group striven for revenge of their dying friend and thus ventured deeper into the criminal world in search for retaliation. The group purchased baseball bats and knives, they also came prepared with a .35 revolver, they found one of the main shooters and beat him half to death alongside the group of people he was around with. The male came by the name of Sandro Jupinero, a Southern Mexican immigrant who was tied into a local gang though the group had no clue of which the male was. After this incident the group turned for the worse and developed into a small clique which was common in this area of Los Santos which was occupied by mostly Southern Mexican Immigrants with whites being the second largest ethnic group in the valley. CULTURE The Varrio Nuevo Estrada 13 has an active allegiance to the famous Sureños and thus include the number 13 for symbolism to their allegiance to Mexican Mafia (La eMe). The gang is often seen representing the following symbols "XIII, 13, X3" in their graffiti and clothing. They are often identified clothed in sports wear with the number 13 on the back. Members are usually are also seen sporting tattoos representing the gang. The gang is often seen listening to hip-hop and Mexican styled music to represent their culture. Varrio Nuevo Estrada 13 throughout the years has established a sophisticated hierarchy for internal gang members. Within this Hierarchy members are required to abide a strict set of rules, violating this rule set will end in serious consequences, this could mean a 13 second beat-down or the order of your execution. This 13 second beat down is known as having a "Disciplinary Beat-down". Members are expected to respect their elders and if any disrespect is given, it will not be tolerated no matter the person. GANG ACTIVITY Varrio Neuvo Estrada is notorious for their permanent gang injunction filed against them on November 15, 2004. Even with the gang injunction, VNE continues to exert large influence over their respective territory. They are involved in a variety of criminal activities from murder, Armed trafficking, drug sales, assaults and various others.. Like most from the "varrio" (Neighborhood) the VNE gains a source of income through street level narcotics distribution in the streets. CLIQUES Varrio Neuvo Estrada expanded their respective territory to other local communities within East Los Santos, to do this they needed smaller cliques to balance strength towards other gangs in the area, VNE cliques include: Tiny Winos, Tiny Locos, Devils, Ninos, Cutdowns, Dukes, Tiny Dukes, Tiny Gangsters, Termites, Santos, Spantos, and Malos.
