  1. I would actually recommend you not worry too much about shaping your character to fit a faction. Instead, make a character that you think will be fun to roleplay as, and just focus on having him do his own thing. Eventually, if you keep at it — which is only really possible if you find it fun — you will get approached by a faction.
  2. Most humble and least elitist opinion from a Valenti RPer
  3. Who could have possibly anticipated this?
  4. I don't believe the point of this suggestion is "introducing a third primary LEO faction". The point being raised is that, as things are (not necessarily as they were originally intended to be), SAPR is responsible for providing the bulk of the LEO RP basically everywhere outside of Los Santos. It does not make sense for a faction called "San Andreas Park Rangers" to be doing that. You can say "give them more to do in the parks", but that won't fix the vacuum that exists without them providing RP in the areas outside of the parks.
  5. The majority of people who RP in SD do so specifically to roleplay out of Davis Station. Without releasing specific numbers, there are literally 3x as many deputies in Davis Station as there are in Paleto Bay Station. I do not personally enjoy RPing in Davis, but those numbers aren't going to change just because people think our faction belongs mostly in the county.
  6. I think the unfortunate truth — that surely anyone could have seen coming — is that type of RP will always be short-lived novelty for the VAST majority of the playerbase. No matter how many hunting cabins and fishing cabins they add to the map, it will never pull in a significant amount of the playerbase for a significant enough time to reliably provide RP opportunities for an entire faction. They are likely prioritizing dedicating resources to areas that have the greatest impact on the greatest number of players.
  7. I believe PM actually already does something like this. They've been very vocal about providing easy access to housing and properties if you intend to RP in the county and rural areas. I will also say, there already IS a lot of activity, at least in Sandy Shores. I am aware that Paleto Bay's activity has died down in the recent months, but Sandy's activity level remains high. On the topic of the thread, having so many LEO factions that overlap jurisdictionally has undoubtedly caused problems. Anyone in SD knows that PBS has struggled to get active members for a long time and people who would want to potentially participate in RPing in that area of the map end up getting split with SAPR for absolutely no reason, other than there (apparently) needed to be an entire second agency to police hunting, when the script was released. As a member of SD, I regrettably agree with this point. Whatever happens, I am in support of not leaving SAPR in their current weird limbo state.
  8. I'd personally like to see a modded replacement for the building that still keeps it in the aesthetic style of the rest of Sandy Shores, but something is better than nothing. +1
  9. RIP the Clubhouse, but keep sending it bro
