  1. What does this matter when killing somebody could get you in jail? You're missing the point. Killing somebody should be thought of a last resort. You can be creative and do a hundred different things. We're all here to have fun roleplay and if people aren't here for that than they can fuck right off. This is your problem.
  2. I mean if Bill James has actually been roleplaying the trauma and doesn't just use it as an excuse to rapidly escalate a situation into homicide then be my guest. But most people don't, and roleplaying Bill's trauma like that can just come across as piss poor escalation. Bill takes zero consideration for the fact that the assailant is also just a player. Bill's escalation literally adds nothing to anybody's character development because it's a PK and wiped from the assailant's memory. Would Bill take 30 years of jailtime for it and roleplay a deep remorse or guilt or would Bill be that guy that goes on with their life like nothing happened? Probably the latter, unless it's a big part of his character arc that he wants to RP, not just a side-story. So it's just boring and stupid roleplay. I mean in this anecdote and the OP it seems like you're forgeting that you could also just draw a gun and even fire a warning shot or something if it is neccessary. You're making drawing a gun synonymous with actually using it.
  3. this is funny as shit man keep it up oraleee
  4. Oh yeah sorry. I guess a language barrier could create misconceptions about a character's heritage.
  5. So we should gatekeep who can play a nationality based on their out of character nationality? Sorry just seems like you're all a bit nitpicky about other people's RP. Your vocabulary is really trivial when it comes to whether you can or cannot create good RP. How are you going to learn anything about how to play your character if you don't actually play it? What difference does your character's cultural background make when you roleplay in a setting you're unfamiliar with?
  6. I mean nobody is ever going to hit it perfectly when it comes to roleplaying a different culture than their own. I think roleplaying a different culture (not even a foreigner per se), in a different setting than your own is a big part of roleplay and what the server is going after. So don't see why you would want to discourage people from doing that.
  7. I love your character! ❤️
  8. Leslie Louie's film project SUPER WOK EXPLOSION crumbles as tales of walk-outs and ineptitude regarding paychecks circulate. A small group of crew members apparently walked out during the filming of a scene in San Fierro last week. According to a source, discontent has been brewing for months after the producer (Leslie Louie) failed to pay the workers on time and allegedly left staff members "with owing payments for more than a month." During the show's development, there were allegations of budgetary and finance issues. With Leslie's cinematographer Sue Doyle supposedly resigning, the film suffers a setback, and it's unclear whether it will be completed at all. We don't know if the payment issues are limited to a few members of the production staff, or if actors, unit production, and the AD have all been affected. While Leslie Louie was unavailable for comment, a source said "morale has hit rock bottom." SUPER WOK EXPLOSION is Leslie Louie's debut domestic film effort, and it's an avant-garde criminal drama about a gang of American-born Chinese teens in a fictitious Chinatown

Contact Let’s drink coffee! 248-626-86 [email protected] OOC This business tries to depict a film production office and attempts to create a roleplay setting for people who want to roleplay characters that have professions in the film industry. While we also draft machinimas ourselves, it is not the keystone of the faction to maximize output. Our main goal is to depict the stressful environment of getting a film made on time. So you don’t need actual experience to roleplay the starving artist or a glamorous film star. We’re here to create a platform that allows you to roleplay characters working in and around films, and the challenges that come with it. We can do everything to help you roleplay around making a film. If you want to roleplay something that exists in the film industry, whether it’s a cinematographer, a director, a line producer, an assistant CD, a Hollywood accountant, or a theatre tycoon, you can do that with us. If it doesn’t exist in the server or within our business yet, we’ll figure it out together! The film industry is a really complex and vast industry world-wide with a pretty rigorous structure and workflow. There's tons of companies involved in making a film. It would not be immersive to have a company that does everything by itself. There's dozens of suppliers that cater to and collaborate with production companies. We really encourage people to take the liberty roleplay this environment. In order to roleplay with us and be a part of us, you don't have to be an employee in this business. You could roleplay owning or being part of an art studio that can be hired as the art department, you can roleplay an actor represented by a talent agency, or roleplay an agent yourself that represents actors and actresses, or you could roleplay a shady Hollywood accountant or a screenwriter that gave up everything and moved to Los Santos in order to start their career as a screenwriter. All of this is possible and creates for more engaging roleplay opportunities. We’re specifically not a studio that only drafts their own material and is competitive about it. We try to permeate the media scene and facilitate roleplay there.
