  1. Name: Rico Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: Another quick efficient service, thank you for everything.
  2. laws do yes, especially when it effects a large given area, however it should be tried IC first. That's what I'm saying. Us having OOC limitations on masks doesn't make sense. I'm not wanting to ban someone because they're wearing a ski mask, I much rather people acted in an in-character way.
  3. laws are IC, if say for instance there's a huge influx of people wearing ski masks going around robbing people, I see a reason for something to happen IC about it. It's the same with anything. That in itself would create more RP. I rather see that, than have people reporting because someones wearing a mask if that makes sense.
  4. If I see someone walking around with a mask I'm instantly suspicious of them and will watch what they do. That's because of my IC experiences with masked people. If it's an open business it should be handled IC. If I see someone coming towards me with a mask? You bet I'll start looking for a way to leave or exit. Same if I'm ina car, masked people towards me? I dip. I'm not going to wait around to find out what happens. I've been robbed before and the times I had been robbed well nothing I could do about it (The truth is most of these robberies were before the rules were clarified so people did the classic drive their car, leave round the corner, jump into yard). I prefer this was solved in character. Don't want people to be suspicious of you? Don't wear a mask. I rather not have any more ooc restrictions.
  5. My dms or discord (.fenris.) is always open for those who have questions/concerns. I think the closest I've ever done to medical stuff IRL was run a tank of O2 upstairs when I was a dental nurse for someone who was having a panic attack (people get scared of the dentist literally).
  6. Hey there, our academy has completeeely changed (I'm the Lifeguard Chief). I focus on roleplay given its a complete game. Our academy itself is roleplay only, I don't want people remembering a bazillion things when my own memory is a sieve. I don't do medical stuff IRL (I'm a teacher), and I don't want people stressing about stuff regarding a game. We mainly focus on roleplay aspects, work with the community IC, events and so on. So if you ever ARE interested, hit me up 🙂
  7. Enjoy our store? We'd love to hear from you! Please leave a review in the comments.
  8. The Los Santos County Lifeguards "Serving with Courage, Integrity, & Pride" Introduction (( The Los Santos County Lifeguards is part of one of the oldest factions on the server and is heavily influenced by the Los Angeles County Lifeguards. We primarily focus on ocean search and rescue, Community roleplay and also provide medical services alongside the Los Santos Fire Department for both the City and the County where needed. We do our best to portray the LACoFD Lifeguard Division to give the community a realistic and enjoyable experience when it comes to Lifeguard & EMS roleplay whilst also using inspiration from other real-life Lifeguard teams such as the Waverley Council Lifeguards, who are often seen in the Bondi Rescue videos. Our main goal is to ensure all our members have fun roleplaying within the team both on duty and off duty. )) About Us. The Los Santos County Lifeguards is a division of the Los Santos Fire Department and is responsible for providing lifeguard services for public beaches and coastal areas of San Andreas. The Lifeguard operations safeguard all of the beaches in San Andreas with the main area of Operation being Vespucci, Del Perro. Lifeguards focus not only on ocean search and rescues but also paramedic response, marine firefighting, marine wildlife rescue, and fire boat services to the state. The Los Santos County Lifeguards currently hold to the following ranking structure(from highest to lowest): Becoming a Lifeguard Lifeguards have to go through rigorous training prior to becoming a full Lifeguard, yet before they go through their probationary period all applicants must take part in our application process and academy. This consists of medical examinations, interview, general fitness checks within our tryouts, criminal background checks and also tested on our course material. From the stage of applying all the way to the Lifeguard certification, you will be trained and tested to ensure you have what it takes to join the team. Stage One: Anyone interested in becoming a Lifeguard with the Los Santos County Fire Department is encouraged to fill out our Application Stage Two: After passing the background check, each candidate is scheduled for a detailed physical examination at a medical office. Physicals include vision, hearing, strength, flexibility and fitness testing. ((Please note: This phase is done passively but you are welcome to schedule an appointment IC if you'd like.)) Stage Three: Tryouts. This is where you will be tested in terms of fitness to ensure you have what it takes to become a Lifeguard and also questioned on the course material you are given access to. The tryouts consist of: Pool Exercises: Swim underwater from one side of the pool to the other side and then back again all underwater. (Can rise for Oxgen once hands touch the far wwall before returning) Weighted swim - This involves holding a brick whilst you swim two lengths of the pool. 500m Beach run Quiz on Lifeguard protocols including flags, zones and vehicles. Pressups/Crunches 500m Ocean Swim Stage Four: Graduate the Lifeguard Academy. After tryouts, you will complete the medical training to get your EMT-B Certification and learn how to do water rescues. Both courses are vital to passing the Academy. Once these have been completed you will get inducted and sworn in as an Ocean Lifeguard Candidate. Here you will need to complete basic certifications and be on probation for a 30 day period. Lifeguards recommend a minimum of six months of training time prior to applying and going through our tryouts. The best way to prepare for the 500-meter ocean swim and the pool exam is to train with a masters, school or club swim team. At the very least, swimming three to five days a week is advised. Tryouts are very competitive, so try to be in the best swimming shape possible. Ocean swimming can be very different from pool swimming, so practising in the ocean is also a must. When you train in the ocean, remember to ask a lifeguard about the ocean conditions and any possible hazards. ((These lengths of time are for portrayal purposes only. Applicants are encouraged to roleplay around some type of training/readiness during their processing phases and interview.)) Current Leadership: Lifeguard Chief Rico Marshall - (( @Fenris )) Lifeguard Section Chief Valerie Parker - (( @Aluiries )) Lifeguard Section Chief Dexter Marshall - (( @Vindicator )) (( This thread serves to showcase the roleplay of the Los Santos County Lifeguards and the events/calls they get up to. For any questions on applying or other matters please reach out to faction leadership. ))

  11. This would be great, means item names don't have to be so long to try and explain what the item is. +1
  12. Already listened to the songs a few times, but it's nice seeing people bring niche rp together in general and use their IRL skills to produce something amazing. No luck needed, hard work pays off. Keep it up.
