    i hate admireme

Well, to be fair that is kind of the point of the website. Before AdmireMe the forum/Facebrowser/IG were filled with such content. Now it's all concentrated in one place and it's really easy to avoid seeing content like that - just don't go to the website. I imagine that shutting down the site won't do much, those people would just move back to the forum/Facebrowser/IG and continue there, like previously and more people would come across unwanted content. I'd call it a "necessary evil" and I think it's better as it is right now.

  5. Tor and the hidden side of the internet There is a part of the internet that remains invisible to the average internet user: services running in an area called the deep web cannot be identified. To view these, you need a program called Tor, which was originally a U.S. Navy project. It was created to encrypt public communications. Today it is open source, and anyone can download, use or develop it. By BRITTANY COLLINS The purpose of the Tor proxy network is to hide the true identity of users and their often illegal activities. It can be useful for users in censored countries, but many also abuse the opportunity and use it for illegal services. It’s important to understand how things work before throwing ourselves into it. For example, the JavaScript found on websites can even fetch people's true identity from behind Tor, so it doesn’t hurt to disable it. After joining Tor, users can connect to websites running under the .onion domain that cannot be accessed from the base internet. The websites behind .onion are called hidden services because it is technically impossible to identify them. This is exploited by sites that turn to the Tor, not because of a restriction on free speech, but because they engage in an activity that is prohibited by law. Such is the case with a popular online drug dealer website that has an average of 100 vendors throughout the year, and the site has a monthly turnover of around $1 million. If we pay attention, we can notice that certain illegal organizations in San Andreas are already actively using or providing such services through Tor. While drugs are the main product, they are not the only thing that can be ordered, for example, there are books or music. In general, most of the things you can imagine can probably be found on it. Of course, users won’t be able to pay with their credit cards because everything is sold for Bitcoin. If more criminals start using these sites to conduct their business, police officers in our community will also need to come up with new tactics to prevent these deals. > Comments are enabled Username: Comment:
  6. Social media and our online image By BRITTANY COLLINS The influence of social media on our society is undeniable, and as it becomes easier and easier to stay in touch with the online world, it will have a significant impact on the lives of more and more people. We can see the positive and negative consequences of all this not only in the online world, but also around us. There's many different social media sites, but the most popular in San Andreas is Facebrowser. This social media site has been around for quite some time and thanks to it we can already feel its effects in our community. Social media has positive and negative benefits, but there are more negative benefits than positive ones. One of the main disadvantages of social media is cyberbullying. It is a phenomenon that most users have already encountered, either as an external observer or as a sufferer. Young people who are easily affected are particularly affected by this problem, as anyone can register a fake profile, through which they can then harass other users. Cyberbullying can range from simple harassment to specific threats and intimidation and is a serious problem on social media to this day. Stealing personal information and sharing it publicly on the internet can also ruin someone’s financial and personal life. Furthermore, each element of the social platform is designed to make users return regularly and browse as many times as possible. This can quickly become addictive for many. The primary goal of social media is to create and nurture valuable relationships between people. People can engage in useful discussions with users with similar interests without local constraints. Furthermore, social media provides an economical and simple interface for companies who want to reach a larger audience with their ads. Most of us instinctively blame the media for having developed a reality picture in us, and as a result, we strive throughout our lives to keep ourselves to these ideas. Models retouched perfectly from the front pages of magazines smile at us, and at the sight of celebrities living a seemingly flawless, glittering life, our everyday lives look dull, gray. We can notice these perfectly retouched photos on Facebrowser and the newly released Quickdate websites. Most people create a false self-image and they post selfies that have been edited with Photoshop. We seem to have become our own greatest enemies by conveying distorted visual and verbal messages about our lives to our acquaintances through social media. Of course, the effects of social media are not exclusively negative. These sites can also motivate people. Many people use social media as a way of getting attention, but you do not have to depend on others to feel confident and to feel good about yourself. Avoid seeking attention.
