You do not need a gun to roleplay a civilian...

This argument is null and void when you consider the quantity of the server who work in security or LEO agencies and still rely on FLD for issuance of various licenses accordingly.

Anyone who thinks that the FLD system isn't long overdue an overhaul is a joke. I've had no issue with CCW or GC exams nor the wait times for PF applications, Although the wording is difficult at times. (its very easy to say how easy the CCW exam is to complete when you have the answers).

FLD right now works, It just doesn't work very well. That's the main point here and if you ask anyone who actively has to deal with FLD regularly on the side of the civ in comparison to those who actually work for FLD, You'll see that everyone says the same thing. Its great to have people reviewing things essentially for free, And nobody's saying that the people reviewing should be stressed and getting these apps thrown through asap. However having something to streamline the process in comparison to what we have now isn't a negative thing, It'd positively impact both the players on the civ side and those who work for FLD.

If you believe honestly and truly that FLD is 10/10 great and there's nothing wrong/ no room for improvement,  You're smoking harder drugs that I am.

your friend was driving like a troll on the sidewalk in downtown LS, I wasn't following you ''randomly''. Hell, I wasn't following YOU at all. You just happened to be in the car I followed.

If you have an issue with my driving then report me for it, Don't drag my name through the dirt when it isn't relevant please.

  3. Evening - Stanley Here.

Appreciate you reaching out to show me the error of mine and david's ways in both of our RP, However Not only is this one of the pettiest reports I think i've seen, It also stands to question why it was posted in the first place aside from the fact that we didn't give Public works the chance to make a mountain out of a molehill ?

Firstly I'll adress my witnessed opinions in reference to your accusations regarding the hill and David specifically. I've taken the liberty to post a less biased photo of said hill below for admin reference.

    aHXItJR.jpg

Although I appreciate you believe that the truck wouldn't make it up said hill I'd like to point out for a start that the truck did in fact make it up the hill scriptwise. Now although I appreciate that you may believe this is powergaming accordingly, How in the world is a player meant to judge that? Does this now mean that when offroading, We're meant to assume that certain vehicles are underpowered vs overpowered based entirely on real life models that we attribute in comparison to script ability? Do we now have to ask in /do what the engine size RP'ed of each vehicle to attribute whether or not they could climb a particular section of hill without powergaming, Regardless of script ability?

I'd completely understand your concerns if the vehicle was low to the ground, A 2 wheeler, Or a really low powered vehicle, However these trucks (MTL FLATBED) Are none of the above, They're very commonly high powered, High torque vehicles which should have no issue making it up said hill, I've had MTL's and Ramptrucks on prior characters when doing SD tows in a lot more precarious circumstances and every time they've RP'ed that if the truck makes it up, it'd make it up IRL.  These are trucks we're talking about, Not 1ltr ecoboost fiesta's that are 2mm off the ground. Furthermore you never Pm'ed myself or David to ask how the truck could have made it up such a gap? Could have squashed this there and then...

Would your identification of the above issue also cover Bikes going up stair sets ? As your very own videos have proven you doing in the past. I have 0 issue with this RP but just checking to make sure that we're on the same page, As IRL there is no way a BMX bike could mount a stairset at 5pmh plus with little to no issue.

    https://medal.tv/games/gta-v/clips/1bDSxY5DghqXHZ/KayoJCIN3ZWD?invite=cr-MSxnYmIsMTg4MDA4NjM1LA

Although I appreciate your concern in this matter, I think this could have fairly easily been solved with a quick /pm to either establish how it'd get back up, or ask him to RP the vehicle as stuck as in your opinion you believed he couldn't get it up there, Instead David Rp'ed exactly as most reasonable people would expect on the server and made his way up the hill as the script allowed.

Now to address the allegations against myself more specifically.

"Stanley was driving a G6 scout He attempted to pull a tow truck backwards using the winch from the tow truck. This icly would surely cause the scout to pull forward rather than move the tow truck""

I'm unsure if you've ever used a winch in real life at all before, However contrary to your belief in this scenario, A winch can be loosened and tightening to be used as a tow rope accordingly. The winch was RP'ed as being loosened by David, for me to be able to attach it to the bullbar of the scout before I then asked him to tighten it back up. At this point I'm not relying on the power of the winch, Instead I'm relying on the power of the scout pulling backwards against the truck in order to move it back. Again another very common practice if a vehicle with a winch was to be  stuck whilst offroading and the rescue vehicle doesn't have a winch. (Please see the RP lines below)

    k0g7jr0.png

"They were then rpl'y going to use the scout to somehow drag the tow truck from being stuck which I don't think would be possible"

Again this seems to be a report based off of opinion in comparison to facts, Please see the video below which clearly shows a 4WD vehicle tugging a bus uphill in the snow, A significant distance further than the 2ft we needed to clear in the situation we were in. To be clear the conditions were once again dry, No adverse weather, The MTL needed to move about 2ft with 2 wheels suspended in the air. It isn't unrealistic to assume that a high powered 4X4 couldn't move that vehicle that far considering the circumstances.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zst7oLhZvUg

"The scout then proceeds to drive in front of the tow truck, falling down, and flipping over as it went. The driver of this then used GTA physics to flip their vehicle back over and then got a run-up and reverse-rammed the tow truck to release it."

And This brings me to the final part of the report and surprisingly the only part of this report that I agree with in hindsight.

The rolling of the vehicle and ramming of the MTL was arguably a rulebreak however my mindset at the time followed the fact that the scout should have never been in the position it was based on the RP considered, It'd have  never been in front of the MTL at all, The roll was accidental in me trying to get the MTL back on the land, And I didn't even think about it until this report was posted. I saw the moving in front of the MTL as an OOC solution to an IC problem however understand completely this isn't how it works IC.

The only other way that scout would have been moved was a /report which could have taken a while as realistically its pretty low priority, Or using a towtruck which again wouldn't have chimed in with the RP of the scene, nor would it have provided us any benefit due to the buggy script. Again to state I understand this part was daft from my perspective but never did I think it'd come to a situation where you believed that you needed to write a forum report seeking punishment for such an OOC mistake.

Long story short, Although I believe there was some error from myself (stanley) in this situation, I'd argue that realistically in the future this could be solved through a variety of ways in comparison to a forum report looking for a punishment. Had you PM'd me I'd have taken your feedback on board and probably RP'ed differently as a result, Instead, G6 chose to pull out due to the incident IC, Public works left for a reason unknown to myself, And nobody got any RP out of it, Just a sour taste from this forum report.

(The centre of this RP, The guy who needed his car towing, Actually left the scene shortly after without getting towed due to the fact that nobody wanted to RP the scene anymore)

    https://imgur.com/a/Fz6RBQA

One single PM is all it takes to avoid this happening in future, There was never a need for this to turn into a forum report.

  4. From a hood RP standpoint it makes 0 sense.

Why would anyone risk going to jail for a very long time over something as simple as a tag, I get its "respect" and "claiming an area" and showing people its a turf etc etc, But the level of disrespect doesn't account for a 15+ year spell in jail for some kid who's "protecting an area"

If a rival gang were to pull up on your area and start cleaning tags, I understand, But it makes no sense shooting someone from a security company who is most likely armed themself when they are fulfilling there employed position, Same goes for public works.

Gang on gang do what you want, Shouldn't be able to people literally employed to remove graffiti.

hey bud, i dont quite think i'm going to bother reading the reply of someone who "portrays" harvey brooks. have a good night tho

    As I said, Pressed bro.

If you ever feel elite in this server just remember we've got the same amount of bans my brother. Don't go acting like the king of RP when you have actively admitted ignoring others RP as it isn't fun for you.

If you can't think of a decent reply cause you know I'm right, Just say that, Until then stay pressed my man, Your last 5 posts have just been jabs at people personally cause you're pressed and can't accept that admitting that you don't RP certain things on an RP server isn't the best way to go about change.

Sidenote, If you got a problem with my portrayal, RPQM exists for a reason. Not that you've RP'ed with harvey since you raided him when you worked for FLD, Might actually report for a void on that as I didn't enjoy the RP.

    Have a great night.

your reply was so good that i'm going to ask kilerbite to let you back into prestige. incredible job.

You're pressed bro, Walk outside, Take a breather.

PD saying that they have 0 interest in Corpse calls as it provides no oppurtunity to roleplay aside from a couple of pre-written /me lines.

    Welcome to the world of:

    -Mechanics

    -Gruppe Six guards

    - Store Clerks

    -Bartenders

    -Truckers

    -Food Vendors

    - Public Works

And I'm sure i've missed some.

And great you're gonna say well "don't apply for those roles" - Surely the same would apply to yourselves and PD then no ? All of the above jobs have fun and shitty parts, but without a mechanic you're not gonna be able to spend your PD wage on getting your jubilee's painted with big ol' rims. (A seperate issue) However we enjoy making other people do boring shit, But only when it positively impacts yourself ?

Next time police arrest me as an illegal RP'er I'm just going straight to /b and cancelling the arrest as it doesn't provide me with any quality RP. Or we can get into a chase and if you guys win I'll do the same thing.  I call 991 for a question and never get a response, At all, I call 911 for the same question, Get a response and then arrested for misusing an emergency hotline, Make it make sense...

OOCl'y Attacking criminal RP'ers for shooting first and not developing their characters correctly literally provides no substance to this debate, That's exactly the same as what LEO's are doing by ignoring these bodies ? (ignoring the boring shit and focusing on the fun shit)

Plain and simply, RP as a leo and act like one or alternatively hop out of the fac and go RP as something else. Or even better, Get the coroners to start advertising consistently again in order to get people on board with Coroner RP, Delegate your shite workload that you don't want to do, Facilitate the growth in a department meaning you can focus on the fun shit.

G6 Guards I can tell you 9/10 would love to be mobbing around shooting at people and spending there whole time doing fun shit, But instead choose to guard businesses, Conduct installs and provide a positive impact on the server which otherwise likely wouldn't be filled, They chose G6 for the character development and therefore RP the roles accordingly, The RP might be boring but it has a positive impact server wide, The same goes for truckers, Trucking companies provide a substantial benefit to the servers economy, Fill a labour gap for a hell of a lot of people, And ultimately provide components to half of the server, And yet the jobs boring as hell... Maybe LEO's should start focusing on the fact that there is a serverwide impact to the ignorance to RP certain things based on them being boring, Yet once again it falls down to " We don't want to RP that part of our job so can you remove it from the server please ?"

I'm not saying that world should feel like a grind and everyones been at the point in world where it does and you have no interest in it, But saying that you don't want to RP it cause its boring and provides no beneficial RP is a joke, When everyone else is still meant to RP bodies being all over the gaff. Corpse's can stay, LEO's or coroners need to change to facilitate the new part of the script and work with what you've been given, Rather than removing a whole new aspect of RP for Criminal RP because its boring for you lot to deal with.

Yes, you can call it IC-issue, but it's hard to find security people that are willing to stand both inside and outside the Casino a whole night in-game.

Then you can call it an IC issue to rob someone inside a bank too, "just hire security inside the bank" - yeah right.

Usually it's only inside they are available to guard a whole opening, and it's not even possible to deposit money inside from a Casino like some people here suggesting.

If the robbery is well RP'ed its a literal non-issue, If you have a problem then report the robber for poor portrayal. Getting robbed right at the front door of a casino is questionable portrayal at best and probably doesn't need yet another rule to limit the RP of criminal RP'ers who aren't literal morons.

Security companies when requested will happily have guards who stand inside/outside for the entirety of an opening without issue, To my knowledge of working on both sides of the net, Getting ahold of guards is hardly an issue.

Instead of focusing on an OOC solution further limiting the RP of criminals cause it doesn't fit your characters time within casino's, Maybe you should focus on an IC solution, Start making it common practice for casino's to allow you to cash the chips and bank transfer you the funds, Or even better try and encourage world to allow script support for banking within a casino (Chip exchange etc)

Or if you can't seem to find a solution using any of the above, Make use of private security companies escort services and cash in transit, If none of the above work then consider not visiting the casino's that don't facilitate customer concerns in regards to robberies etc in the future, Boycott those that don't facilitate you and move on. In real life if you went to a casino and kept getting robbed, Its likely you'd either not visit that casino again or alternatively find an alternative safer way to move your money.

IC solutions > OOC solutions -  If you used the resources provided to you IC rather than trying to get an OOC rule introduced, You'd have avoided being robbed by now, Your set to lose a lot more being robbed than paying 10k for escorts to a security company furthering everyones RP in the process. Focus less on the criminal RP'ers and more on the Legal Rp'ers that put you into this situation in the first place by not allocating more funds to security in their establishments.

  10. Agreed it shouldn't happen on the property, but pretty sure in most cases that should be covered by Robbery rules.

Disagree however that casino's should be a no crime zone. If you get cash out at an ATM IRL your a target because your almost guaranteed to be handling cash, Only reason people don't sit outside casino's IRL is cause most people walk out with losing money, its more than often not the case in world.

Another OOC limitation on something that could be handled IC isn't something I'd say is necessary honestly, Get casino's to hire more guards/ Provide ways for you to safely transport cash/Receive casino funds. If you're not happy with how a casino is helping you manage your winnings when leaving the property, Take your own measures or stop using that casino.

The only reason this seems like such an issue right now is due to the rise in the amount of casino's consistently opening across the server, It isn't necessarily a New player foundation to get rich quick and OOC limitations just make it super easy on biz owners and customers and super hard on criminal RP'ers trying to make money.

  11. Seamus o'leary was the other party involved.

I RPed torching the vehicle however have no screens to back the event, from memory we sat in the lot of Vehicle rental morgernstern preparing, drove into the lot, I RPED dousing the car in fuel before throwing the can underneath and then lighting it up.

  12. So sorry to double post but I just want to make something clear also in reference to the attack in general, This will hopefully clear up some IC issues.

Posts such as the one above have been referenced a lot more recently mentioning the use of Molotov cocktails and as such the justification of IMEX employees shooting as said Molotov's could have been thrown in there direction.

This misdirection seems to be by someone within IMEX who has decided that as they didn't see the RP, It is of there best interest to RP it as a Molotov. I am unsure and therefore hold no opinion as to whether this is to strengthen the case of Rufus May in the appeal for his PF licenses back however intend for this to be publicly known OOC should any CCTV be formulated or Chinese whispers force this into being RP'ed wrongly should the torch hold as per this report.

The RP held by Harvey in the torching of this vehicle was not of a molotov cocktail as both LSNN and the IMEX discord would have described, It was a gas canister held between the legs of harvey as he entered the premesis and then thrown underneath shortly before the match was thrown, I don't remember the RP line exactly but Molotovs were never involved and this could have easily been figured by just throwing me a PM had nobody seen the RP line, Rather than people just assuming it must have been molotovs

I understand this may be just common confusion or assumption by the IMEX members who witnessed said event however I don't want it held that molotovs were thrown, It was a simple gas can and No RP was undertaken in relation to creating molotovs.

Although I agree people can lie or mislead in witness testimony, I would just like it to be known should this case hold IC'ly depending on the outcome of this report that on CCTV for court for Rufus and potentially harvey in the near future,  No Molotovs would have been thrown by either myself or my accomplice.

  13. Evening and sorry in advance for the amount of text your gonna have to read below, I just wanted to cover everything as I genuinely feel this is an unfair report designed to try and stop significant development of my character moving forwards.

So to start and provide some context, Harvey was an Ex employee of IMEX logistics, He's been fired (Bullshit reason too but understandable based on the circumstances)  for a while now and is permanently trespassed from the PPS site, This isn't a case of me just targeting a trucking company cause they're active like so many people would have you believe. Harvey has been arrested on multiple occasions due to escalations from the IMEX team, He's a criminal but not the smartest, He makes rash decisions and ones often without thought, This is reflected through his continual spur of convictions and his inevitable downfall from being employed by IMEX in the first place. He has a strong vendetta against IMEX due to the terms of his firing and has since caused many an issue (not so significant as this one)

    Quote

Harvey Brooks found it a good idea to come drive around a convoy of IMEX in his own personal vehicle and drive very recklessly around it. Without any fear for his own life or his car shown, Harvey cuts in front of Pounders and drives in the wrong lane of traffic where trucks are driving. He eventually drives towards the terminal to start doing donuts in the middle of the road where we need to pass.

This happened and under no uncertain terms was it designed to be Non-rp as you put it, I came across the convoy on my way to Patel quality taxi, Noticed Nikolas who I shouted out to, No reply. I then tried speaking to Lisalotte Morgernstern, Who replied with "What" x3 and then drove off without talking to Harvey. Not only is this disrepectful but its downright rude, Harvey took it to heart and made poor attempts to distrupt the convoy to the best of his ability, Note that I didn't attack anyone, I didn't hit anyone, I didn't threaten to kill anyone, I simply tried blocking the road and causing a nuisance to the convoy to distrupt the business flow.  Just to mention aswell, shortly after this I noticed I was no longer apart of the IMEX discord, (I was previously in there as IMEX retired) I spoke to noobie in Discord PM's and you advised me this (even after the convoy incident)

    wkw0EEm.png

At this point before the fire, You yourself already admitted that Harveys constant distruption of IMEX has been built up and it makes sense for Harvey to be portrayed like that. I took this as a non issue and that we were squared off, I thought that the RP was consistent with what you'd expect as a member of the management team and thought about ways in which I could build on this based off of Harveys current circumstances.

The event at the port through my distruption once again led to Harvey being arrested, Multiple members of the IMEX team called harvey in to the police and as a result it cost him $10,000, A 4 day impound and a 7 day license suspension alongside of course time in jail and more to his criminal history. Harvey made it clear to the arresting officers at the time that he'd be going after IMEX, And this is the last straw, To the point that one of the officers actualy encouraged me to start my own trucking company before she PM'ed me after the event had passed stating that it was great RP.

    Quote

Accusation 2 (50 words): Powergaming: no fear RP

Harvey has literally hit rock bottom at this point, He sold his taxi company and went a bit crazy with the money, He spent a lot and more recently decided to get a job again. Upon doing so he realised that its literally almost impossible for him to gain willfull employment from any legal biz in a significant role. He has no interest in going back into bartending or bare bones trucking and due to his history with IMEX he has almost 0 chance of getting another job in a big business to the same level he once was, He's literally hit rock bottom and see's IMEX as the sole reason for this. (Clearly not true but he has to have someone to blame right?) He already has a significant record, Limited employment prospects, A terrible relationship with the police and local businesses and has spent a significant amount of his recent time in Jail or on a driving ban, What does he have to fear aside from death ?

From an outside view, IMEX is a trucking company, not a criminal organisation, The chances of death are relatively slim assuming that G6 aren't on site and the local "trucking" employees don't decide to be heroes, The only risk is jail which harvey is more than accustomed to and not afraid of, He has no family, Limited friends and no employment prospects. Precautions were put in place by harvey prior to the event And again to my knowledge IMEX internally have 0 proof of who conducted the fire and never will due to precautions taken by Harvey on the lead up to the event, Same as PD.

    Quote

Later that evening, we have Harvey Brooks along with a friend, who roll into the IMEX parking lot (a restricted crime zone) and torches a random vehicle on fire from someone that is not related at all to his own escalated arrest. I find this whole scene very poorly escalated

This is the part of the report that confused me the most due to a variety of reasons.

    1. Restricted crime zones

    Quote

Restricted Crime Zone — any area where mugging or asportation (transporting a person from a location to mug them) cannot occur without clear permission being given by an admin beforehand. Other crimes in these areas, particularly crime that grabs attention such as shooting, are held to a higher standard. e.g; the burden is on the person deciding to shoot to prove that the situation could not have been done in a more secure location, or that the situation was pressing enough that it demanded immediate action. No other crimes are limited within this zone.

As far as I'm aware I didn't mug an individual nor did I transport someone to the port to be mugged, Harveys aim was Vandalism and Distruption, Both of which were achieved to the best of my ability and not in breach of the Restricted crime zone rule.

    2. "Torches a random vehicle on fire from someone that is not related at all to his own escalated arrest"

Your missing the point of the fire, I wasn't targeting an individual, The target is IMEX and its employees. Creating a sense of unrest and disruption amongst the organistation, The more employees feel they can't trust a company and slowly move away from supporting it, I wanted to see the RP development of the Old IMEX and the wars it used to have against outside bodies who stood to try an take down the company walls, Only one car was torched as a warning and it didn't matter who's it was, It could have been a randoms as long as it was parked on company grounds, The purpose was more a scare tactic on the build up to much more from a guy who's lost everything and blames a few distinct individuals who represent a larger company which is easier to target.

    3. "I find this whole scene very poorly escalated"

You said yourself that the build up was slow and over a great period of time, This wasn't poorly escalated in my opinion whatsoever. If I had turned up with a gun and shot down a member of the IMEX team I'd agree, Its daft and not worth a murder charge, Arson again isn't a nice charge to have but weighing up the risk vs reward harvey would taken it all day.

    Quote

    301. Arson (F)

A person who willfully and maliciously sets fire to or burns or causes to be burned or who aids or advises the burning of, any structure, forest land, or property.

This offense shall be liable under a Class A (5) felony punishable by no less than 7 Days of imprisonment.

Escalation has been slow and I agree out of the blue this wouldn't make any sense, But with how harveys character is developing more recently to the point of contemplating suicide ((CK)) due to limited IC options, Harvey deems that the only way he can make himself whole is to get back at those who he believes took his rights away and essentially his way of earning a living moving forwards, He has NOTHING to lose.

I personally don't believe any rules were broken whatsoever in this build up.

An Ex employee, Slowly losing his will to live because of what he believes to be his ex employers fault, taking distruptive revenge action in order to try and encourage employees to lose faith in the security and leadership of the organisation isn't too far fetched to be believed. All of the RP leading to the event and furthermore the result of the event was in Harveys favour and he ultimately succeeded in achieving his goal. An Employee had there car torched for being apart of an organisation. A member of IMEX is now in jail as a result of the actions due to a shaft violation. And Harvey is still free and roaming around, Safe with the knowledge he has distrupted the organistion to some extent (he obviously wouldn't know that a member was jailed IC )

Random Evidence you may find interesting.

https://streamable.com/tgvn0q - "CCTV of the event" I had nothing to fear aside from truckers to which to my knowledge were unarmed.

Harvey never had the intention of killing or even hurting an individual, His intent was to disrupt IMEX operations as he did well. The actions were built up over a period of many months and this saga only began because he finally hit rock bottom whilst searching for legal employment. He felt like he has nothing to lose and planned on continuing these events over the coming weeks to months in order to try and distrupt the company as much as possible and take away the progression that the company has seen since Harvey departed.

I apologise if this event wasn't fun for anyone involved however I'd argue its a significant step in Harveys character development, I'm more than happy to kerb this if an admin deems neccesary or even trial a different path for RP, I have plans for the future development of this "saga" and should this report prove unsuccsesfu0 allowing me to continue with IMEX as a target l wouldn't mind talking to an admin in regards to what they'd deem as acceptable escalation in order to avoid a report like this in the future.

  14. 100% support the idea of mileage rollback, not for dealers though.

I agree that the ability to rollback odometers should be an option available, IRL I could make a call in the next hour and get it done before end of tommorow on my own vehicle.

I don't think it should be readily available to anyone however and especially not dealers, mileage rollbacks are far more common on private sales than dealer cars and although IRL its easy, there would need to be some form of limitation to ensure that people aren't taking advantage of it to avoid servicing.

The device could become something similar to narc devices and card skimmers found in pawn shops, and could be held at a high price, laws could be put in place to restrict the sale/possession of said devices to add to the risk, they could be priced high/given as a strawman scheme item to limit the amount of people to well trusted Rpers with correct backgrounds.

Servicing could be solved through having a displayed odometer vs actual behind the scenes that the player can't see in order to ensure that it is tracked and cars still break down at service intervals.

Long story short, I'm all for it but really and truly, it's a lot of work to implement something which would inevitably become abused by dealerships/ overused by street urchin resellers and has limited impact on a vehicles actual price point IC.
