It's more this than anything. Time and time again people have proven they can't handle certain hot topics and will bleed their OOC stuff into their IC RP so when it's a big current hot topic like this is that effects people in the way it's doing, why give them the chance to do so

Shouldn't have to just deal with it and having to have that approach with everything that's motivated by people's OOC agendas to do things that'll cause others distress ain't the way the server should be at all. Letting people get away with it because some guy (not you) cries "but muh roleplay will be stifled" as their excuse to chase headlines or throw out a slur ICly because they know they can't get their ass beat like they would in real life is the stupidest of moves.

if anything then just have it be security companies that have to install the house alarms so 1) not every house has one, 2) people wont want a security company walking around their drug lab and 3) it brings more RP to the process

Yeah, I know. I'm saying the way the lists work right now extending the time could leave you with a shit list for almost a week with how it current is set up. I like having the lists for longer but the system itself needs an overhaul first otherwise you'll end up with a list of low part cars mixed with cars nobody drives for several days. It's not particularly putting a bandage on it as of now, would be closer to using a single thread on an open wound

List needs fixing before it gets extending because with how it is right now if it was extended you could get a list of just vehicles that are completely shit and/or never appear and you'd be stuck with it for days

Maybe if there were more taxis it'd be feasible, but as of right now sometimes it's difficult to even have one respond

The list of vehicles that comes is ridiculous and half the time has 0 part PD faction vehicles that just waste time. The list/system needs an overhaul from how it was made back in 2017/2018 to something better and more realistic. Car alarms are bugged like pople have said and only sometimes show for people, the anti-theft is currently extremely overpowered and the despawn timer on cars overall makes it difficult to find cars. Honestly the list should only really show cars that appear on the streets because half the time it's cars literally nobody drives. (Also add stuff that appear frequently driven by players but never on the list for some stupid ass reason like the Elegy and fix the vehicle names considering there's 8 different types of Gauntlet with barely a difference sometimes and two types of comet retros with the only different being one has bolts on the arches and the other doesn't.)

Only problem I can see with this tbh is that one pod is very much dead compared to the other so it'd just be the people in there having to do idle rp to actually be able to leave.

The way I was told back in staff was that the suggestions forum is more somewhere Devs can look for ideas than where they actually go to do things. Might have changed in the past two years

not an impossible thing to do, just adjust the prices of cars that are way too expensive tbh
