  1. Agreed with above. It just makes more sense, and if people don’t like the idea of changing it because of the “luxury car” dilemma, then have both implemented, but have one be significantly cheaper than the other so as to not bleed players dry for their cars.
  2. Supporting. I’d love legal factions to have more to distinguish people apart/make rank more obvious at a first look.
  3. Nothing. It's just the same reason someone would want to go inside their own house rather than stand in their garden. Similarly, the only reason people would have to leave their house is to go shopping, go to work. or go to an event of some kind.
  4. Only acceptable colour to be tbh
  5. A good approach to fixing this would be attempting to encourage exterior roleplay. One good example of something was the outdoor warehouse rave they did a few weeks back. If there were more reasons for players to roleplay outdoors then they would, which can be tackled both OOCly and ICly.
  6. I'm going to start this off again with saying that I mean none of this to sound attacking or rude. Clearly from the amount of people that have brought up issues - people's displeasure with the way things are handled is a trend, and from what I can see in this thread here, you're.. not exactly taking what they're saying on-board at all. It should be a sign to admins that this many different -groups- of roleplayers have similar issues, and whether you agree with them or not, you should at least be trying to take what they say into account rather than brush it off and disagree with them. Sitting and attempting to discredit every point brought up by this groups as "just not true" is again, part of the problem. At the end of the day, this is a video game. It's a server that people play in their free time to have fun. Yes, we need rules and guidelines on what's allowed and what's not, but the level of policing I and many others have seen towards illegal roleplay in general is.. frankly ridiculous, and I can completely understand why people are completely and utterly turned off of the idea of even attempting to create an illegal group.
  7. Short description: Similar to the current /attribute system, I believe that a small addition to the server could add quite a bit to people's day-to-day roleplay. Adding vehicle/property descriptions so that players can describe the interior of their car/house adds another level of richness to Roleplay that I believe people would enjoy. Detailed description: To expand on the above point- I believe that adding these commands gives players another way to define their character with small details, and also gives people valuable information when interacting with said vehicles/interiors. For example; Someone is in someone's house. Currently, the object streamer is very unreliable, so say someone stores a rifle in their house - They then use /pdesc to describe that the gun is hidden under their mattress. It can also be used for much simpler but character-defining things, such as little details along the lines of "The house would smell of roses."/"There would be mud tracked across the floor." This not only adds a small level of depth for players interacting in interiors, but it also opens up the server to another few possibilities. Currently, there is no way to leave descriptions behind when not there ingame, as the relevant commands are broken, and as a result players have to rely on things such as PMs to describe situations. This feature would allow people to describe.. say for example, a home invasion over /pdesc. If the player was killed/kidnapped, they can update their property description to reflect the incidents that occurred there for investigating police to use. /vdesc Can be used in the exact same way. For example: "There would be a crumpled up pack of cigarettes stuffed haphazardly into the glovebox." It also allows people who aren't with the vehicle's owner to see details about the car. Where the inventory of it is stored, etc.. Commands to add: /vdesc, /pdesc, /pinspect, /vinspect Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server?: I feel that adding the commands /pdesc,/vdesc and the associated inspecting commands would add roleplay to the all three types of roleplayers. (Legal, Illegal and Civilians.) For example. It gives all players a little bit more depth to work with and helps ease players from having to quickly describe the details of their car every time a player needs it. Similar to /attributes. Additional information: N/A
  8. While I agree to an extent that the valuable players for servers will just appear and choose to stick around of their own volition, it can't be ignored that many people in the world aren't keen to try something and immediately cling to it for better or worse. And, forgive me if this seems rude at all - I don't intend it to be, but having a "Whatever happens, happens." attitude about it is part of the problem. We should be trying to encourage people to stick around rather than just letting players come and go willy-nilly.
  9. I think myself and many others in the community can agree that there are a fair few "overcooked potatos" that have been brought to the attention of both players and admins alike - It's just a case of wait and see as to whether or not admins have any plans/ideas to fix said problems.
  10. Absolutely not. The immersion breaking of hearing a squeaky 15 year old boy's voice come from his creepy lesbian ERP character is just.. too much to handle.

    /ad queue

Personally would like to see this implemented with restrictions that allow players to queue one ad at a time. I can't count the amount of times I've had to have an /ad copy-pasted ready to go and had to sit and wait just to catch the next free /ad spot.
  12. Gonna say 5/10, Because 5+10 is 15, and it reminds me of a 15 year old's art class project.

    What phone do you have?

iPhone 8. Don't really care for all the extras that come with most other phones.
  14. Not too big of a fan of this. It's UI looks.. heavily out of place with GTA's current UI, and not only that but I feel as though feature like this do nothing to improve Roleplay but instead encourage people to speed around the city in a non-rp fashion. We don't need fancy car meters on our screens when driving, this isn't a racing game.

    Will you marry me?

On one hand, I support this because there's no feasible reason not to implement it, on the other the fact remains that name-changes are one of the Server's only ways to make money. Also, namechanges themselves aren't terribly pricey anyway whatsoever - so I feel as though this is a somewhat redundant suggestion. haha yes!
  16. Agreed. As a member of PD, I can't count how many times I've heard people say they can't do anything because they're dead scriptwise and you have to get an admin or just let them respawn. Moving bodies would be a fantastic addition to the game, people wouldn't have to be /heal'd and awkwardly walk alongside FD to be "dragged" or transported by gurney to their ambulance and whatnot.
  17. Great idea. In addition to this, I'd also like to be able to toggle XM off altogether. I really strongly dislike the use of boomboxes, and people regularly changing the channels affects RP as it bugs your chat out and makes you start kicking/punching the person next to you whilst you're trying to type.
  18. Repost from the forum rollback. Created this due to the buggy preview for the Moles/Freckles section of the plastic surgeon shops. I noticed that the Moles/Freckles section of the face customisation area didn't seem to work very well for a lot of people, so I went through, screenshotted each of the Moles/Freckles options at 100% opacity and compiled them all into this handy little guide. Hope this helps some of you, as I myself found freckles to be quite the pain to experiment with without wasting money on purchasing them over and over to preview them. So here it is!~
