  1. for every gang rper frothing at the mouth screaming insults at LEO, there's one that will sit down and have a quiet, well mannered conversation with them before telling them to get off their block for every LEO rper pulling over a gang rper because they ran a desynced red light, there's one that will pull over a car full of people armed to the teeth, masked up with the only complaint being that their insurance is out of date and they politly inform them of such before leaving. It's both sides which are the issues, both LEO and criminal. Why? Because that's just how it is. One side has a bad interaction with the other, it becomes part of their character development, now they dislike the other side for whatever reasons, and bam. The cycle continues... There's no way to stop it. It's just down to who you RP with and who you RP.
  2. Forget the command, make it a rule that if you want to engage in a fist fight, you have to /me first.
  3. When you reinstalled RageMP, did you make sure to delete the folder RageMP was located in first? If not, that might explain the issues. If you think there's some ENB files lurking in RageMP/GTA5 (most likely your rageMP folder, since singleplayer is fine) it's best to uninstall rageMP, then delete the folder that RageMP was located in, then reinstall of RageMP. Make sure the folder you install RageMP to has nothing in it.
  4. Can you post what your GPU is and your current graphical settings? Does this glitch also carry over to other parts of the game, like the menu, your phone screen, ATM's etc...? Does it also happen in interiors? You could try messing around with the texutre options, shadow options or even anti aliasing to see if that helps at all.
  5. I feel like this is going to create more and more headaches... I gotta wait for an admin for yet another thing? I already wait long enough for the most basic of reports half the time and needing a gun/needing a revive are both things which are both highly time sensitive. I've seen people wait nearly an hour for mundane reports before, waited even longer myself, and with the amount of gun fights there are, this is just going to take up so much more of an admin's time as they gotta look through the revives, talk to players, check logs, ask what other admins think, make sure what's happening is truthful or not, etc, etc.. Not to mention, what admins can do this? All of them, or just a few of them? Do I gotta wait for a senior admin who may not even be online to do this? A better solution would be putting a timer on how long you have to wait before a gun is lootable, maybe ten minutes or more. It doesn't make sense, but it's way better than just straight up breaking a weapon in a way that makes zero logical sense and also leaves a completely useless object that can't be used for anything. It means that people would have to hang around the body, so if the cops were coming, they wouldn't have time to loot it, while also rewarding players who pick their fights in more secluded locations that are less likely to attract attention.
  6. I've had my stash disappear before with a bunch of items in it. If this happens to you, just best to /report it and get admins to comb the logs to see if it was stolen, otherwise you'll be able to get a refund pretty easily. As for stashes inside of houses? I think they're now disabled (using the /stashitem command inside a property, that is, not stashinfo)
  7. Detailed Description Basically a copy of the CIM/createinformationmarker system, but one that only works in businesses and is tied to said business. This will give player's who own a business/ work at one an opportunity to drop a 'BIM' at the property without using their allotment of CIM's. These 'BIMS' could have a different colour, such as blue, to show that they're relevant to that property. This BIM could be used simply for a menu, signage, decoration or so on... It could even be tied to the business, so that when a player uses /startshift it causes the BIM to appear, and when they /endshift it disappears as well. In order to prevent abuse of the system, it could be limited so that only the owner/manager/supervisor can place/remove these BIM's, and these BIM's would only work inside of/near buisnesses. Relevant Commands/Items /createbusinessinfomarker /bim How will it benefit the server? CIMS are incredibly useful in setting the scene for any roleplayer, providing them with information that wouldn't be otherwise obtainable unless asked OOC or through a /do- both of which depend on people being there and knowing what has happened. When players are limited to only one, they have to really think about when to use it. Do they drop it at their business to create a menu, or do they save it later for something else, such as tagging? This system would mean that businesses that rely on CIMS (to show a menu, or art, for example) wouldn't have to ask their employes to use one of their personal CIMS to create this. If it's also possible to cause 'BIMS' to disappear when no one is working at said business, that means there will be less strain on the server from rendering CIMS (I read that too many CIMS can cause strain, hence why players are limited to one) It may also help alert players to businesses that do not have a blip because the player cannot afford donator, as the owner of the store could simply pop a BIM outside their front door and passing players could see the blue question marker and immediately know there's a business there/nearby. These business markers could even be tied into the donator system, meaning if you're a plat donator, you get 3 normal cims and 3 business cims, adding even more value to the donator perks at no real cost.
  8. Currently the way the rules are, if you inform another player that they hear gunshots while they are inside of a property, through use of /fchat, /pm or other OOC means, it counts as metagaming. The only way people inside a property can know if there was a shooting outside would be if a shooter, or someone outside, decided to do a door emote about the shooting...Which rarely happens as it's usually next to impossible for a player to do. This usually leads to a situation where you're chilling inside somewhere and when you leave, you walk into a slaughter, practically slipping on the amount of casings and pools of blood about, or even walking into an active firefight. A rule change like this would be a great QOL change and would be useful to both legal and illegal RPers. I suggest we alter the rules to allow this within reason, meaning that players who witness a shooting/are part of one are allowed to inform players that they know are inside of a property nearby about any shootings. I understand this could be ripe for MG, so in order to trial the rule change we could only allow factions to do this at first, as it would be logged in /fchat, and from there we implement changes to the rule as needed. A command could be implemented called /reportgunshots or /rgs. It would message a player that they hear gunshots outside their property, but doesn't name the player who used it in order to cut down on metagaming. This could also be extended to properties, so you could do /rgs on a local bar or apartment and it'd inform everyone inside they hear gunshots. A command like this could be abused, so in order to discourage abuse, when /rgs is used it could screenshots the user game (similar to the /camera function), meaning the user has evidence in case they are accused of metagaming or abusing the command.
  9. How are you launching the game? Through steam, epic or rockstar launcher? If it's steam/epic try launching the game directly from the rockstar launcher. If that doesn't work, or you're already using the rockstar launcher try reinstalling the rockstar launcher. There's a bunch of youtube videos surrounding this issue so I've linked one below for you; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWTS2lgKW6Q
  10. honestly this'd be great, whenever you want to 'hang out' as a homeless person, you're forced out of the public eye, where you rarely meet any other RPers. +1
  11. proper taxes, bills and shit. let us destroy other player's vehicles, permanently. also fuck ajails. Just slap people with a 12 hour ban/day ban at the minimum.
  12. im never doing crime if it means my tamagotchi goods item will be stolen by pd
  13. coinflip to see if you're the dad or not
  14. Yes please, it's basically just a reskinned wrench anyway.
  15. hope this gets stickied at some point, very useful. You may want to split it up into two parts, one for the city and one for the county, for visiblity purposes.
  16. I was RPing a drug addict for a while and I gotta say, the system was pretty cool to play around with. Things I didn't like were some of the visuals (Like the weed one, I couldn't type /stopeffect fast enough) and the visuals I did like didn't last long enough. Withdrawl's a joke, honestly. You fall over, maybe, and take 15hp damage...So you just drink some soda and continue your day. I get it's supposed to reflect your character being weak, but the punishment to it is so easily overcomeable it leaves you wondering why it's even in the game. Make it -15hp to your max health until you take said drug again, that way there's some lasting effect.
  17. It may not be about world points, but it's very close. My main gripe with the donation system is business blips. If you want to run a biz, (And not one that comes with a blip, like a 24/7 or a hardware store) not only do you have to give up your own time and in game money, you also have to pay out OOCly to ensure that people come to your biz, otherwise nobody will have any idea that you're open. It's always baffled me...Businesses are there for roleplay, yet for people to know they're there and roleplay within them, the owner HAS to pay real money. I speak from experience too, I RPed in a gym for a little while that had no blip. We tried advertising and bringing people in off the street, but without the blip we got no one...Soon as one of the other employee's got plat' and used the blip on the gym? Would you believe it, people actually started showing up. Then the owner sold the gym because they couldn't afford platnium and moved on else where.
  18. Please GOD no, don't make this a rule. If my fire alarm goes off or my dog starts barking like mad I NEED LOOC to tell the other person/persons what's going on. Allowing people to block LOOC just blocks an avenue of information for them. Sure it's gets annoying when people chat in it, but just ignore it, ask them to stop, and /highlight the people you're attempting to RP with. Imagine if I had blocked LOOC as a police officer or something and a suspect was telling me they had to disconnect, for IRL reasons, but I had no way of recieving that information? I'd end up filing a report, wasting peoples time, for something that would ultimately go nowhere.
