This is already a restricted crime zone, it won't be turned into a no-crime zone. Factions that operate next to this area are going to be more brazen as they're in their comfort zone. The pier is barely used, it's been neglected even IC, there used to be very active businesses on the pier. The government could invest in security for the pier and fund businesses to get the tourist spots active again, IC businesses can spark up activity and sway away people trying to do shady business. If you're on a pier, isolated, there is no one nearby, you are going to be just as much of a target regardless of whether you're on the pier or you're in a shady alley. Crimes of opportunity are highly likely to occur if you're in a disadvantageous situation, not all these areas need to be protected by OOC rules. There are IC solutions, and plenty of them, to try and combat crime rates from a government/council setting.

Unfortunately your best bet is to try sort this out in-character if you're committed to pursuing this character.

This thread will be locked and combed through as it's no longer questions about the clarifications.

Please remember this isn't a discussion thread but questions - if you have a discussion about a rule change, it can go in a new thread.

"at admin discretion" is the key part here, otherwise there is no scale of what can be considered fatal and what can't due to everyone having a different take on it. If an admin can see that realistically you'd not have survived, you'll be left to PK. We actually made it more lenient and are making it so more lower end stores you do not need to go through IFM for, but heists, AKA high end businesses and gambling businesses, you do, which has always been the case. There was no new requests to make "more requests" for IFM, this is specifically what they requested to be put in place to make it easier for them.

You can steal a vehicle under /vdup and it does not count as a scam, /vdup vehicle theft.

This isn't a new change, the cim rules will just be added to the in-game command instead.

If it's not longer owned by a player, the cameras despawn, so there wouldn't be any to use - BUT in the event they are somehow there, then yes, they can be used for law enforcement. Rule 2, "Initiating a script action without any roleplay against another player (e.g stealing a vehicle without roleplaying it first, initiating a fight/brawl without roleplaying the initiation), once the action has been roleplayed it may continue scriptly by the initiating player. E.G, if you wish to attack another character, you would need to roleplay your attempt at the attack and then you may continue through the script. Script actions that automatically print a roleplay line through /ame do not need to be re-roleplayed unless otherwise stated in the rules (e.g. rule 15, scrolling weapons)." So no you wouldn't have to roleplay the initial part, but you would have to roleplay everything afterwards. If you can roleplay the door opening as well, even better. This wasn't something that was changed, but no, you can show them the image itself through the notes script or through images on SMS etc.

This is something we are looking at getting amended script-wise if possible, thank you. This will be added to the list - thank you. This is more of an LFM rule that needs to be passed over to LSSD/LSPD but we will forward it to them as it's common knowledge desynced cars should be despawned instead. This has been brought up previously and will be addressed, thank you. Rule 17 will have a rehaul to be much clearer on advertisements of illegal kinds. Please see above. You are allowed to enter a house if you find a door unlocked and you're roleplaying it, the players inside are subject to be robbed but they cannot be forced to take anything out of the property inventory. This has been added to be clarified in the rule 10 sections. This is not so much a server rule - but the thread on this has been updated 3 days ago to include this very clearly - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/28-player-report-information/. This has been added to the list thank you.

Hey, thanks for bringing this up. There is an element of this that will be clarified in the rules, however I will say here, that the server rules are not going to dictate that people MUST follow the traffic laws, that much will remain to be enforced in-character. However, blatant GTA:O driving with stunts, no regard for realistic physics and people driving in a manner randomly that is constantly teetering on the edge of playing like its cops and robbers may be clarified. This still needs to go through a discussion with staff so please take what I've said with a grain of salt as it is subject to change.
