  3. There has been a lot of things said, and a lot of them are rather complaints than suggestions. Someone who has been in Medical RP for ages, multiple characters, multiple specialties in Medical, I have encountered a lot of players, and their RP road to diagnoses and treatment, or just ones that came in for a simple preventive exam or a well-woman exam. The stereotype has always been the same from other people who were never or barely in MedRP as physicians, nurses, etc... and that stereotype is "Doctor chars are prude, they are snobbish and have god complexes thinking they know everything all the time" without even knowing the physician/nurse/whatever character off-duty. The same thing goes for when people outside of said RP circle say "PHMC is an elitist faction", when we are truly not... And I am not saying this because my character is involved with them, but I am saying it because it is the truth. As long as your backstory and educational background meets the requirements, and you pass the interview and criminal background check, you are most likely to be hired. You do not have to know everything about medicine, nobody does, you do not even have to be an IRL physician, nurse, EMS, etc... You can join PHMC and the MedRP community with 0 knowledge but in a realistic background by doing your research. If you are passionate about a character in medicine, you will of course do research in the area of specialty you RP in, whether it be Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine, Surgery (of any kind), etc... Saying something about the activity of PHMC... We cannot force our players to go on duty and be on it 24/7, neither can we chain someone to their PC all the time just so that everyone will be satisfied. We do not have physicians and players specialized in all of the areas of medicine, sure, but we still try our hardest to facilitate the RP for everyone, NPCing some doctors in certain areas like Ophthalmology, which we do not have at the moment. Not everyone wants to roleplay being in the medical field, hence why we lack staff members to every specialty. Those that complain about the inactivity are free to join our staff team over at https://phmc.gta.world/ and make a difference! After all, we cannot increase activity with everyone having IRL responsibilities and understandably having to take care of them... But if those people that complained actually tried to join the faction, would see the day-to-day struggles. We do not force people to RP out every single of their injuries, nor speak "mumbo jumbo" to them. At least not me, since everything is explained in either /do in /b if the patient does not understand the medical terms OOCly, and if ICly, then it is explained to the player ICly. Of course between physician interactions, they will use medical terms because they are professionals... But as far as I know, everyone explains the procedure to the patient as well. After an ER visit, patients are NOT forced to stay "X amount of days in recovery", they are asked whether or not they would like to RP it out, or NPC the recovery. 99% of the time they NPC their recovery which is alright. As for surgical procedures, it is the same... "Would you like to /do your surgery or would you be interested in the RP aspect of it?" we let them choose their roleplay, and not force them. And someone above me said earlier that a lot of people log on, get injured, come to the ER, and then ask to NPC their entire treatment, log off and then five minutes later log back on like nothing happened, which is fine as well. Speaking about the "forced" injury system... Although an injury system would be handy and neat, and would allow us to have more roleplay altogether, possibly even motivate our current staff members to log on more... I find that it should not be as enforced as we already have a health bar which does not replenish automatically, but stay that way until you seek further treatment. However, I do feel like we should have a /setcondition that would allow players to write the attributes of; Temperature, write down any physical/visible injuries, rashes, redness, etc... - That way it is not forced, but voluntary, and players that do want to RP out a said medical condition, could set it and at the hospital, physicians and other healthcare members could check the symptoms via /checkcondition. I know that we already have /injuries, but that is mostly used by other factions when the players are dead. Of course players can already tell us their symptoms via the /do option, but the above mentioned possibly new commands would allow us to determine what tests need to be done, diagnoses, treatment... and so on. Pharmacy Script... has been a long-time requested thing, it would allow players to buy medicine from any pharmacy... The never-ending problem would arise again... "Where would we be able to get staffing for it?" The main issue here is the lack of players wanting to RP being in the medical field, and naturally, people cannot be forced to play a character in the field, if they do not want to. Also take into consideration how we are all in different time zones. Of course it would be amazing and beautiful to be able to RP whenever you walk into the ER or the hospital with a professional, but it is not realistic with the amount of staff members we have. So once again... If you want to see a change in activity, you want to see how MedRP works, you want to know the day-to-day struggles, then join PHMC and see what we are dealing with on a daily basis. https://phmc.gta.world/viewforum.php?f=106

Cervical Cancer is a cancer arising from the cervix. It is due to the abnormal growth of cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Tune in to listen to Dr. Marzia Cattaneo's voice over and enjoy the slideshow! ๐—ฆ๐—ฌ๐— ๐—ฃ๐—ง๐—ข๐— ๐—ฆ Early on, there are no symptoms experienced or seen, however, later symptoms may include abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain or pain during sexual intercourse. While bleeding after sex may not be serious, it may also indicate the presence of cervical cancer. Symptoms of advanced cervical cancer may include: loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, pelvic pain, back pain, leg pain, swollen legs, heavy vaginal bleeding, bone fractures, and even though rarely, leakage of urine from the vagina. Bleeding after douching or after a pelvic exam is a common symptom of cervical cancer. ๐—–๐—”๐—จ๐—ฆ๐—˜๐—ฆ The common causes are smoking, long-term using of oral contraceptives, or having multiple pregnancies which put you at a high-risk for serrvical cancer. Treatment goes from chemotherapy to combined chemotherapy and radiation therapy, a radical trachelectomy which is the removal of the cervix and the upper part of the vagina. There is a huge risk of infertility after this type of cancer and the rigorous treatment process, however, there is always a chance for In-Vitro Fertilization, or even adoption. It is best to consult with your OB/GYN, if you're looking to get pregnant. Cattaneo Women's Health wishes you pleasant Holidays and a Happy New Year!

We strive for quality roleplay, but also to have fun on the server and try to reinvent ourselves all the time if we notice a decline in patients, players, and general interest of people wanting to roleplay with us. DO NOT APPLY IF you are sensitive to Women's Health roleplay, as some people might find it disturbing. If surgery, primary care, and more roleplay-related things bother you or are sensitive for you, do not apply. Also do not apply if you have ill intentions, which would bring not only you but us as a practice into admin trouble. Women's Health roleplay is very intimate, and we try our best to normalize it on the server so that people who would like to roleplay different types of illnesses, disorders, surgeries, and pregnancies... have the opportunity to do so at our practice as we offer as realistic roleplay as possible. If you are new to Medical RP and would like to start off at a smaller practice at first before applying to a faction like Hope Health Group, Pillbox Hill Medical Center, or the Los Santos Fire Department, we encourage you to do so, as we are more than happy to teach you the basic ropes of Medical RP, as well as we offer many many guides and experience, even if only in the entire aspect of OB/GYN, it is still considered Medical RP. We also will not stop you from working at our practice part-time if you choose to work at PHMC full-time. The sky is the limit, and we want you to have fun. Apply if you would find OB/GYN RP interesting, apply if you would like to get started in Medical RP at a smaller place at first, or apply if you already know the deal and are experienced in Medical RP, and just would like to support a small office. We're all here to have fun, not to compete. โ™ฅ
