I completely agree, however, when fellow faction members of yours come into this thread in bad faith to demean or straight up be offensive to other community members, it doesn’t look good. I still, however, wholeheartedly agree and the core issue here is one of mentality, so I think being in favor of a more lax usage of K9s (mind you we survived without the k9 script for years just fine) would at least mitigate the consequences of a bored/annoyed K9 officer messing with someone’s roleplay when they wanted to take it serious, even if it’s a rare occurrence, like I said, a PD member not finding a gun isn’t a catastrophic loss, someone getting arrested over it can. yeah

Completely agree, however, the instances where leeway was given in favor of a good interaction between LEO/illegal rper have been close to null. Illegal rpers aren’t saints, as a matter of fact, I’d say 80% of them are absolutely horrible, but you, as a LEO, have much less to lose than someone who might just catch the stray effect of either someone’s annoyance or inability to take a loss. It goes both ways, however, one party will always have the upper hand, and that is the LEO rper.

You need to take a break from the internet if you're this pressed about someone trying to take away an OP script feature from you. I get it that you guys over at PD love your K9s very dearly ever since the unit's inception, as it has been proven over the years, but please, do yourself a favor and relax brother.

all I read is a bunch of waaa waaas from legal rpers and shitty illegal rpers trying to make up for their shitty roleplay, none of you are right. robberies do happen, there's been a spike of them ever since post-covid, however the issue at hand is HOW they're roleplayed, often by new players who just rush through emotes and all their dialogue is "HANDS" "ALLEY" & so forth. make it a rule where the roleplay has to actually be substantial or else they're liable to get punished

The excuse of wanting to roleplay a pre-teen in a gang environment because "it's realistic" is thrown out the window the same moment these 13 to 16 year-old characters spawn in with a gun, ready to shoot, do not roleplay fear at all and more often than not end up being cookie cutter NPC characters or straight up drug lords moving ounces a day. 9 out of 10 times age isn't roleplayed accordingly.
