  1. Whilst this response is not coming from a member of staff, the interpretation of scamming would still fall within your question. At this stage, cloning of a key to get access to someone else's vehicle, and it wouldn't be for permanent ownership, is a grey area. There isn't a rule in writing that says what this would fall under. Technically, you are not depriving someone of their property (in this case, a vehicle) permanently, and you aren't really tricking them into 'giving' the property to you permanently. If you are 'not returning it' as you said - that falls under scamming, as you are permanently depriving someone of it. It would most definitely be a niche aspect of roleplay made available, and would most definitely be interesting with some sort of a script. I am not aware of any decisions or comments made on this from above either and have kept up with rule changes and the player report section. I'd advise you to be on the safer side until there is a ruling made by someone in orange to clarify this and go with what the response to your ticket was. Yes, there is roleplay to be explored and experimented with, but at the same time, this is not clarified within the rules of whether 'scamming' means scamming the ownership of the property (requiring the ownership to be transferred to you) or it also applies to things like key scamming.

The union did not fail to fight for the idiot's rights, he chose to proceed all by himself. 3. Name: BingChilling Comment: How pathetic this so called 'former officer' has to be to go to the news the moment he voluntarily chose to resign? He is a psychopath, not fit to hold this role, and clearly a schizophrenic — these voices in his head telling him how people 'hate' and 'abuse' him. Thank fuck you resigned, thank fuck you ain't ever gonna come back after this shitshow. Good for the department for putting you back in your place when you're acting like a child during serious situations. ** This comment has been sent through a VPN. **

  11. @Wuhtah Thank you for your response. I don't think no rational person expects the activity to be dealt with straight away, as some of us are just getting back onto our feet after the holidays, but hopefully more of the attention will be paid to it as we tuned into the new year. I am absolutely with you on the part where some administrators want to roleplay, and those nasty reports can take an unknown amount of time — in turn people opt-out and prioritize those which are easy to deal with, while others are sat there. Been there, done that myself, and an administrator would be lying if they said 'no, I've never done this'. DM reports are the nastiest ones and will always be, but as you mentioned that it is up for an administrator to really interpret the rules the way they are written and determine whether a rule is broken or not. It is much easier said than actually done, again, been there myself and seen a lot of others going through the same. Probably one of the biggest reason why it will continue to be this way is just because whenever you see 'ah shit, this is big' you immediately want to vomit inside your mouth and move onto the next one — a report is a statistic, whether it is DM or a combat log. I've seen it being the focus myself. I am not blaming anybody or want to shift blame to anyone, but that is the reality with big reports — nobody wants them because they are; A headache to deal with, especially if it involves a lot of people. They consume a lot of your time as an administrator trying to read and understand what people say. You keep on seeing the same people breaking the same rules, and it becomes redundant. I know this has been a thing for a while, but I like to see how TAs partner up with another administrator (usually who supervises them) and they both work together through it, so having more than one mind from the very beginning can be helpful whilst looking into different areas of the report and eventually coming together, especially for those larger reports. Hopefully, however, like you mentioned people start taking an initiative and understand that not every staff report is a bad report, and not every decision on a report is necessarily the wrong one. There will never be enough administrators to handle all of the reports, whether they are forum or in-game reports, and we have to live with it, there is no way to otherwise dispute that. Regardless of what sector you look at, there will always be shortage of people; people leave and then reinstate, others come in to replace them and so on. I feel like it is always easy to put approximate numbers on the blank piece of paper, but then there is one report that does your head in and all you wanna do is just bash your head against the wall and cry while listening to Taylor Swift — so statistics automatically get thrown out the window. But then again, it'd be nice to see everyone contribute, just because the numbers on paper look kinda hot. 🥵 I don't know if it being directed at me, I am yet to complain about a report not being taken — I guess it is something you realize when you have been on both sides of the isle; as a player and as an administrator you understand how challenging it is to see the /reports section flooded with the most random and complicated reports, but then at the same time you came in-game because you have an In-Character meeting with your faction — now you gotta choose! The self-voiding would be a great addition, as long as there is some sort of criteria made up. For example, that one of the parties did not incur a financial loss or gain, that there are no needs for refunds and so on — like you said, as long as administrator's intervention can be avoided and possibly kept to the very basic minimum. Thank you very much, dawpi.
  12. Very easy to say, yet once we say that — we are also the ones to smash the report section with player reports against our own killers. Sounds good on paper and in this thread, does not work in reality. Whenever your character dies, you lose your 'memory' in relation to what led to your death, you lose items that you had on you prior to your death, you respawn at the hospital and start your day again. Nobody wants that, and some of the shootings I have seen and been involved in? Absolutely clear as a day deathmatchings — people do could not care less for even coming up with a reason to shoot, or there is one, but extremely poor (i.e., he hit my car — pew pew AK shots fired). It takes a good time to sometimes grind and earn some of the things you can lose upon death, so yes, people are absolutely in the right to seek refund and have players who are here not to actually roleplay have them reported. People who come in here to purposely break rules should be punished, and there are many. If it's accidental or whatever? Not hard to reach out to the other person, but again, if the complainant believes that a rule was broken, they should have a right to have it investigated by the administration team, and if we don't? Might as well just remove DM out. Rule breaks should be punished, not slapped on the back of their hand.
  13. Trees were pretty cool looking, but so was the old dawpi. I actually dislike continuity being on a wiki, I know it's more compact and easier to find, but absolutely hate it compared to how it was on the thread.
  14. I think this has to be the only ever general discussion threat I read through, all 13 pages and I will never get that time back, but lets bark (ARF ARF) on this matter from both sides of the isle. If we look back, there always has been the issue of 'not having enough administrators on duty to handle the reports for the playerbase in-game at the time', I don't know if I am dreaming or just became delusional over time, but I have seen similar threats before, and the creator is absolutely hitting the nail on the head. It is always easy to say 'admins should really pull their weight' — dealing with someone else's problems and issues sometimes can take 3 minutes, and then the next report you take, even after 2 hours of sitting in the same spot, you're just barely dipped your toe into the whole situation and end up sending it to the forums. Sometimes it does not matter how much weight a team can pull, there will always be reports to answer. One week it is much slower, but then the next week you constantly have dozens of reports in-game that you have to deal with, sometimes they are redirected to the forums without even taking a look in-game, just so the roleplay can continue from that point onward — and yes, some people just decide to 'pause it all now, I made a report to the administrators' type beat. I liked the response @Wuhtah provided, and there were too many to really read, but the very first one (third one from the start). I do hope that what she said will be acted upon and that sctrictness will be enforced, because it hasn't been. Sure, you don't meet the basic numbers — you will know that at the end of the month, but nobody will bust your balls for it (if you have them, that is). One month, two months, three months... it used to go on and on. I think when it comes to DM reports, as @Wuhtah mentioned, it is not the training that really does it, or rather makes administrators to avoid it (including me, when I was one), but rather the lack of understanding of internal illegal faction dynamics. Never understood it, probably never will. Sometimes the escalation was so borderline, but when you look into the history between people, and the history would never be told by the reporting party or the reported party, but rather I'd have to drag IFM in just to get the most basic 'history' lesson on a group or a gang, those guys actually know way too much. We tend to see the same names picking up those DM reports just because they aren't afraid to ask others, they aren't afraid to inquire and aren't afraid to sometimes make a mistake, even if the decision in the end is overturned. But then again, @Wuhtah highlights something that sat with me for months — being burnt out. Imagine, you come into the game to play. You see there are 20 reports, people are roleplaying or it is early for the normal peak hours, and so you handle one report. That one report took you an hour and a half, and yes, you were in-game. Do you really want to even roleplay anymore? And that report was just a headache, people lying, trying to lie like their actual life depends on it and if they don't lie — they will lose a kidney. Yes, I had those. And this is a very big aspect of the administration team, how to get that burn out go away — you cannot, it is just working on yourself. It does not matter how many TAs you take in, it does not matter how many people handle reports, at the end of the day there will be people falling out, there will be people going away and reports will be once again full. We all, and I speak for myself, had that moment when we were 'oh, I'll clean all reports' — aha, three months in you barely want to look at one. There are also so many things we could trust community with, but we cannot for obvious reasons. Numerous mentions of /breakin. I am absolutely in support having this administrator approved only thing, otherwise sh*t will hit the fan. They take time, they take administrators away from actual reports, but it has to be done. Time and time again I have seen, and investigated myself for 7 hours a player's breakin who again, lied consistantly to try and avoid the logs. Wasted my time, wasted the time of those people who had reports in-game — can't blame it on the administrators, though. It's the lack of common courtesy in some of the players here, which is disappointing, but it is true! Again, I will look like a stalker, but I did like @Wuhtah's idea with the forum submissions when it comes to /breakin. I think this may be something worth pushing up the chain and have it discussed, because on paper it seems logical and easy to understand, and heck it, if I could — I'd take it, and schedule it whenever I am home in a heartbeat. But then again, I have seen breakins where not even guns or drugs are the target, yes, they are valuable, but people stole dildos (and there were many of them) and other valuables. I skipped the part where this thread became a 'I complain about bans and the punishments' part, so I will leave that one out. I think a good point made by @Murat as well, a green name does look good. There are a lot of genuine people, and people who are willing to take an extra step and walk three extra miles just to make this community a better place, but there are those who are just there... for the different colour in their name, and that is sad. It is always easy for us, people who aren't administrators to judge, but that has always been a thing, and we all have seen it. We know who are active, we know who we see handle our reports, and sometimes we all wish (not all, but those who want to do good) that we could switch shoes and help them handle those reports, but we can't. People should also be accountable for their actions and their disinterest, which hopefully will change following @Wuhtah's very first post on this threat. It'd also be nice if some people actually solve their issues themselves, because it is possible. Yes, if you see a rule break you can report it if you'd like, but nothing stops you from saying 'Hi, I'm dawpi, can I talk to you about earlier today when I think you DMed me?' and take it from there. You don't have to throw slurs at someone straight away, you don't have to call them names — just tell them that you think it is a rule break, try get a common resolution. You need it to be voided? Put a report in saying 'I want X voided' and have an administrator approve it, as both parties agreed — no point investigating further (unless there's like a trilliong dollar refund, we know you scam). But I do hope what @Wuhtah has said, and mentioned @Adv on numerous occasions, that those changes are actually rolled out and not simply 'pushed for discussion with management' — because I have experienced it with previous team, and hopefully this time it will change. OK, I just had to kill some time so I vomited this out. Thank you very much, dawpi
  15. Absolutely, I'd like to see this being added, it'd alert people in advance of what may need maintenance instead of waking up to a red wrench and oop, too late.
  16. @leonnzzz what if you use command /surgery? This used to be old command to open the old UI for surgeries?
  17. I never said it had to happen or has to happen, it's a topic for suggestions, so I threw it out there. I am sure there are always people who are more than happy to help with categorization or otherwise assist the development team in assisting with things as long as shown how to do it and what exactly to do, which I think would be a much greater exploration and consideration instead of 'if you want to sit and do X, Y and Z, else it doesn't happen' being put forward.
  18. In all honesty, I'd love to see the rework of the whole UI to make it more available for smaller details. I mean, I don't know how it works and how many things on a singular body part a player can have, but having a friendlier UI instead of numbers from 0-600 on certain things would be cool.
  19. @State Farm I'd advise you to carry this over to discord since that's where people are more active, and are more readily available. Reach out to a member of support or an administrator to see if that account does even exist and what it shows to them on UCP. If the issue still persists, you may have to escalate to web developers or Nervous himself. I know it has happened to someone in the past, but was handled by passing them through application and got to play the game again.
  20. Do other UIs show for you? Any others that may not show? Like phones, clothing stores?
  21. I am surprised we've managed to keep this on topic for this long. In all seriousness, there were some great points provided within the discussions relating to forum reports, those who handle them and the imbalance between some of them and the administrators. I do hope that some of that will be taken in, hopefully as the shift happened within the administrative staff management, some of those things will be taken into account if (hopefully) the system is reworked, altered or otherwise adjusted to fit the current days of the community. I just wanna see what 2023 has in terms of the development, with the 3.0 push there were some epic things that came out, especially with animations where you can sit, move around and so on, kinda poggers. I'd also like to see dawpi the cat return (we're making it there).

    UCP.

No, I do not follow his schedule. He shows on discord as not online, however, if you message him, he will respond once he can, just remain patient - he has done it to a couple of people in the last couple of days who have had the same issue.
  23. dawpi

    UCP.

You'll have to reach out to Nervous, whether you do it via forum private messages or Discord PMs is up to you. He has done it for a couple other people, but that's gonna be your best bet at trying to get it back.

    Hacked Account?

I'd advise you to shoot a message to Nervous via discord, earlier today he assisted someone else and recovered an account for them.
  25. dawpi

    Hacked Account?

So your application got denied because you are connected to two (2) other UCPs. If they are not yours, as it states in the denial reason do the following. If you lost your access to the account, you can try and get it back either via the password recovery or reaching out to management/Nervous who can assist with password recovery. If those accounts aren't yours, or one of them isn't, then follow what was said. You should not be creating account on top of another account just because 'you think' it is breached — it can be recovered.
