It is, but stupid measures have to be taken to counter stupid situations that people make when they turn into loot goblins and forget the fact it's a roleplay server. People going as far as transporting injured bodies in cars to dump them somewhere just to loot them after or running into police scenes just to loot a damn body. It's stupid, it's unrealistic and people have unfortunately shown themselves as uncapable of treating a corpse riddled with bullets properly, all because there's a possibility they have a gun or drugs on them. What else could be put in place to counter the looting issue?

People often forget about roleplaying fear and being nervous when conducting robberies... breaking the rules themselves tbh. But that's not spoken about cause its normalized fr. People get killed literally over anything these days as well... which should be looked into, not taking a potential murger charge into account when killing someone over 300$ which they dont wanna give over.

No it's not a ridiculous thing to expect. There's been a few adverts of people offering legal services ingame and on forums. Why would you need to sit through 3 weeks of court room roleplay? And being locked behind bars for a shitty reason? Im majority of cases unless it's a required case, you can plead no contest, do the time and lawyer up after without losing the chance to appeal. You're out after serving the jail sentence if one is given to you. Seems like you don't know how the system works.

You don't get just thrown in without a reason, at least from LSPD's side it needs to be assigned to an investigative entity and approved either by a supervisor or a detective as you're suspected of a crime, which may need further digging and interrogation in the end. Nobody is going off the ''feeling'' that you've done a crime, there's always some backing required to be put into it. The only problem I've faced with these holds in the past is the fact that the investigative entity is in a different timezone which makes them unable to schedule anything, or if the person in the investigative hold decides to not log on during those 48 hours, essentially ruining the potential investigation. If you're held in without a proper reason, then lawyer up and make a lawsuit and get that easy paycheck. Battle it out IC instead.
