  10. Instead of pushing this to be a rule, it should be developers priority to make recoil for these guns when shooting them out of a vehicle.
  11. Have you taken San Fire's FTP system? Because you're spreading incorrect information about it.
  12. You can't compare San Fire and State Parks to what LSPD and LSSD does. What Sheriff's and Officers see in a day, Parks and Marshals see in a month. The training phase within those factions are way different and so are their entry exams. People have done this in the past by entering recruitment in other agencies and doing laterals to PD or SD to bypass the exams, despite that they had to go through the field trainings because the roleplay and situations they encounter are very much different. This isn't a bad thing at all as it guarantees that people need certain knowledge to get into the faction and then pass their probation. It ensures a certain standard and serves as quality control. It makes faction hopping less appealing. And I'm saying this as someone whose currently in San Fire and has been in both PD and SD in the past for quite some time.

  16. That defeats the entire purpose of the main frequency, its a radio that EVERYONE within the department has access to and is meant to use it for updates, be it what they are doing, their location, etc. Units need to be aware of what's going on, of any operations so they don't cause suspicion or even bring any marked units into the area to potentially disturb the operation, be it whether they are doing simple covert surveillance or a drug bust for an example. Every unit already has their own radio which only the unit has access to talk internally. Detectives can do covert operations in plain civilian clothes with no visible badges and civilian cars with normal 6 digit license plates with no visible lights. You're mixing up unmarked and covert term. You're very unlikely to spot a covert car, which is the entire point to blend in with the rest of population.
  17. If the information was harmless and not supposed to be confidential to a degree, then the faction leaderships would've probably agreed with it the last time. I disagree with you and still think the main channel should be off limits. Nothing stops you from befriending a cop and squeezing information out of them or asking for updates or active scenes. You're free to be of different thoughts of course. I understand that, but sadly we're all limited due to game scripts in one way or another. Even if something is possible in real life, it sometimes shouldn't be the case ingame. Media outlets having access to these channels is one of them in my opinion.
  18. Them having 911 access would be generous enough as it is, as long as caller ID is hidden alongside the ID of the call. Realism card could be put on just about any subject on this server yet 90% of them still don't make sense. If nearly all the factions were against giving radio access to media factions, then why would you think this would change now? I can see this ruining LEO's roleplay more, especially the people who do undercover work and such, and still have to update their location and status via the main channel. In the end, I'm sure the faction leaders of LEO factions would happily comment their thoughts on this here.
  19. Don't know that one, sorry. But it should still be up to faction leaderships discretion if this is to move forward... not forced upon.
  20. I'd much rather them very limited access to 911 calls rather than faction's radios, if we even have to go down this route. I'm pretty sure nearly all legal factions disagreed to have this system in the past, and I don't see this changing.
  21. You'd still need to be within a certain group of individuals in that case... which is harder to find. Depends what you really like doing, or what your goal is.
  22. You need to be in a friend group or else you're more or less doomed, there's really no alternatives on it. Joining factions is one of the solutions, finding people with same interests as you helps too.
  23. I don't believe so, it existed for a very short period.
  24. The IRS faction they tried doing was a complete flop, but I agree that people shouldn't be able to deposit large amounts of money like that, but currently there's really no alternative to it.
