  1. u the only person here advocating for ppl to waste their time n sanity on meaningless bullshit in the pursuit of fictional job duties, chill bro
  2. imagine getting a job where ur supposed to preserve crime scenes, handle evidence, interview witnesses and investigate death but ur testimony in court isnt even hold up that high cuz ur not sworn. kinda based.
  3. coroner investigators get FUCK all n the incentive to be one is low -no peace officer status as they are irl -little respect or authority -constantly sidelined by detectives -huge caseload why do the job
  4. Hey, this is an incredibly minor discussion topic but I'd like to hear some collective opinions. We just received new map icons for first responder bases/LEOs, I'm not really fond of them myself as I feel they break the aesthetic that everything else in the UI offers. Thoughts? I respect the idea behind this and think on paper it sounds great but the art styles just clash a bit too much in my humble opinion and it ends up looking distasteful.
  5. maybe i understand what your point is and disagree with it? not everything you do IC has an intended outcome, someone can play an (M) and ask something rhetorical almost knowing full well the answer will be no but do it anyway for a measure of character building or you know, just generating story.
  6. its not just (m)s and crusading against them over the number difference isnt going to fix your problem, its player mindsets that are the issues. people that play minor characters and have no respect for the limitations of the rules as they are and engaged in harassment are going to do the same thing as adult characters regardless. you do not punish the whole for the actions of the few. mind you this is the opinion of someone who has not and will never play a minor.
  7. what u explained in ur example is a failure to remain courteous on their behalf, as well as a portrayal issue or something--i wasn't there but the point is at that the issue is a person's wanton disrespect. i personally dont think we need to be so fucking orwellian as to now restrict harmless speech thats accurate to human behavior, i just dont see the point of more restrictions when the current rules are fine enough to prevent any sexualized behavior. but if you're telling me that a 17 year old finding a 21 year old attractive and trying to ask their number, being shut down, and going separate ways is rp that needs to be culled then im going to show you the blocks littered with the corpses of those same 17 year olds all laid out after blasting one another, something i find more reprehensible
  8. no im not creeped out by a virtual 16 year old hitting on an older woman. i was 16 once. i did it too. do you know how many juniors and seniors in high school tried to add my math teacher on facebook (that was the big thing at the time)
  9. this is literally human nature. young men are known to brazenly and immaturely catcall, so long as it isn’t inherently sexual then there isn’t a violation. If you personally feel affected by it ooc then you really oughta ask the person politely to stop oocly and move on
  10. theres a difference between sexual remarks and just getting hit on tho, one is against the rules and the other isn’t and it’s a common enough theme among todays youth so they aren’t exactly out of pocket for catcalling or something
  11. 17 year old murdering half the block and pushing enough coke to fund a latin american dictators military: i sleep 17 year old says “girl u fine as wine”: REAL FUCKING SHIT
  12. what business would sapr have in a foreign country
  13. A vehicle is typically financed thru a bank so the repo man in this case is working on behalf of Flecca or something who are the actual owners of the vehicle law enforcement wouldn’t be repoing a vehicle, they only seize vehicles used in a crime or along those lines. the thing is not a lot of people lease at player dealerships especially because the script makes it so easy to just do it automatically now.
  14. tbh it shouldn’t be so heavily moderated imo
  15. idk about every day I think that’s an exaggeration especially if there’s a consequence attached to failure
  16. in classic gtaw form im basically throwing up a suggestion on the newest update before it’s even arrived tldr statistically speaking most armored truck robberies are not extensively planned and occur in plain view, they’re also extremely frequent and highly dangerous. I feel the need to have this process locked behind a request system is unnecessary and simply put should a crew wish to take the risk upon attacking one instead automatically offer their CK perms or something should they be killed negligently, as to allow the risk versus reward ratio to be increased just my ravings tbh
