novel idea incoming but a disclaimer first: i do not speak for any official factions or represent them, the opinions below are mine and solely mine with that outta the way why doesn’t LFM loosen boundary line for San Andreas Stare Parks peace officers around the hills. “but RAD, there’s no state parks!?!!” but there is. Part of the hills are already allowed to be patrolled by state parks peace officers surrounding the station of beaver bush and galileo park which is a state park. if the line was expanded just a bit more the rangers could comfortably patrol the rest of the hills and overlook as well as provide a more consistent presence without worrying about being shit on for breaching agreements this area is monitored by LA city park rangers which are also leos irl as well as has highway patrol units and state park peace officers in and around it. i fail to see why we cant use the literal third patrol rated leo faction that is trained and capable of responding to statewide calls for service in theory put into practice for homes bordering a state park am i crazy

ive been an admin a few times on a couple servers, up to and including the latest rdrp one (what a shitshow). its a tough gig but like u said u do tend to sign up for it. granted theres burnout, but the admin team should look into expanding its members with new supports and ppl willing to work on it. i mean me personally i put in for the support team fully expecting to be denied and i did, but i wasnt even offered a reason to improve on which makes it tough to figure out how i can help the server further. im sure theres others in the same boat.

be it as it may dmec is/was a self-sufficient amoebae, once you're already in there isn't a lot of oversight necessary.

not sure this is the right hot take, there's plenty of 911 calls that go unanswered during certain hours of the morning especially when the population is low. dmec was liable to this same issue, when call volume was high and staffing was low. it happens, but it doesnt mean a faction should cease to exist imo.

there was a lot of movin elements in dmec, plus a big workload. investigators, forensic attendants and medical examiners. they all provided different experiences. that said a faction being around dominantly or not shouldnt necessitate if it stays or if it goes, especially if keeping it isnt a net negative as far as i know. the fact is dmec has always done more with little as their motto and provided a good starting experience for newbies

hi, as a player formerly in dmec i am curious as to why this faction was dismantled. i have always liked DMEC as a faction and feel that despite the periods of inactivity it served as a good introduction to the world of emergency services, as well as an outlet for some dark and demure gritty rp, plus there is the fact that it served a semi-prominent role. i dont see this as being a net positive move for the server but im also not management, id simply like to hear what happened and why it had to go down this route to remove what i felt was an enjoyable enough experience and tbh pretty harmless too.

its like sopranos-esque levels of shitposting but overall it’s a good guide. something important to really drive home is to know your audience so to speak, if your character is from a certain demographic or background with limited exposure then poking the proverbial bear anonymously over FB is one thing but to continue to do it in person is another. that said i also find some of the wanton criminality occurring within the countryside to be crazy, like people upset that they flock up from the city and r met by a 2nd amendment wielding homeowner just protecting their land or their neighbor n believe that isn’t good rp. very poor mentality. it’s also pretty important 4 people to remember that bein in a gang doesnt make you superhuman or superior, just inherently more dangerous as a result of a lack of respect for the rules laid out in society. this issue is endemic on both sides of the coin
