If you post a video of gameplay anywhere, you're just giving haters ammo to report you with, even if you were alone.
The only way to enjoy this game is to find a small group of friends, because everyone else is just really angry you don't play the way they do, and will harass, bully, threaten, then dox you.

I don't see why people are going for personal attacks on someone who actively spends a lot of time on thinking through the negative sides of things, that may get abused, like the /fixveh command. Y'all just don't want the inconvenience of actually roleplaying.

Man, I remember when RP wasn't 90% of OOC fuckery.
People seem to forget that in LSRP, your cars actually took damage that you had to repair, you had to properly park your vehicles and couldn't just teleport them to you at a moments notice. Now everyone is just way too lazy to drive their cars back to their apartments or watch where they drive. People damage their cars and just /vp and /vg, pretending nothing happened.
all the same applies to /fixveh. Just ruins a lot of proper RP.

As a member of SD who is actually in charge of the northern half of LS, please don't add any more crime zones... I don't want to think about whether to report something, because it's against server rules every single time I witness a crime in a "well populated area".
Just get some more IC measures. Get G6, get property alarms, get vehicle alarms. Y'all are rich, so present yourself that way.

I've stated everything I've wanted to state. The summary of that:
- The /do which states that Rafael would be identified was made due to him being clearly visible in the dashcam, wearing sunglasses, as well as the vehicle being registered in his name. Thus after checking up on his MDC file, he would've been promptly identified. I've ever stated that the other two individuals would NOT have been identified right away, due to one of them not even getting out and the other not having any available info on him anywhere.
- The dashcam/windshield would not have been damaged enough to justify that the footage would be unusable. The windshield was hit twice in the top right, thus not damaging it in the middle at all and not compromising the footage.
- The sunglasses would not have been nearly enough to hide your identify, especially if you consider that the vehicle used in the murder was registered to your name.
- Your kill reason was also pretty lackluster and is the perfect example of deathmatching according to the rules, since you had NO indisputable evidence that the stop will lead to life or serious extended imprisonment.
- Your character was arrested 6 days prior to this shooting, so saying he "matured significantly since his last arrest" is not really an argument that you can use.
- I do, however, want to apologize for the footage accusations, as I've noticed the problematic with streamable and the footage being deleted after two days, if you don't have an account.

Just cause my character had gotten arrested once or twice before doesn't make him "a known gang banger" - Rafael literally /just/ got his put-on less then a week ago, how would he have been a known gang banger, when he had barely joined the set in a legitimate way? Along with the fact that identifying both myself and Derrick would've been 100 times harder due to the fact that the dash camera had been shot out the second Derrick got out of the car and shot - Realistically, the camera would've only captured Derrick step out, the windshield got shot up before Rafael even stepped out. The information you had provided in your /do was not "misremembered" - That's not a thing, when you have the possibility to ask us in /pm's for more information that you'd realistically have ICly. But instead, since you knew my characters name, you decided to jump over that task, and just drop it without bothering to even write up anything detailed about the shooting. Just because your "higher up's" said that its okay to do so, doesnt make it any better, it's still a rule break. All rules and regulations on the server apply to everyone, you as SD are not exempted from disregarding a rule just cause your higher ups told you to do so.This whole warrant was roleplayed horribly from SD's side as a whole. My name was metagamed in the dash camera without any investigating. Once I got arrested, all OSS deputies that were supposed to find me for questioning etc had disconnected without warning and left a different Deputy Sheriff book me for life. Do not say that this "could have been really good rp for both parties" - As there was no effort put in to roleplay anything from the beginning, and when I say no effort, I'm talking about the fact that there was nothing investigated, Randal wasn't even declared deceased in any documentation put up for the case. If this would've been done by someone from the illegal slide of roleplay, this would've never flew and it would've been handled instantly - Just because you're from the legal side of rp, doesnt make you exempt from the server rules.
Your last arrest before this shooting was on the 19th of July... That was 6 days before this shooting. My man, you telling me that within those 6 days you aged your character up a few years, almost making him unrecognizable to your prior mugshot? Yeah, no, I don't think so.
You being a "known gangbanger" is caused by you having a file on SanGang, one that was literally listed on the court case, so you are literally proven to be a gangbanger.
And about the windshield. It was shot up in the top right corner. Twice. While I do appreciate your research paper on the topic of shot up windshields, here's a few more examples of shot up windshields.

So, as you can see in the examples, shooting a windshield twice? Wouldn't have affected the footage as much as you make it out to be, especially if you hit it, where y'all actually hit it:
And yes, I did misremember. I asked your buddy with the rifle over pm's what y'all wore, what car you drove, what the plate was and so on. I skipped over the part of who had which gun, which I probably shouldn't have, but seeing as it was a mistake on my part, that this part was already voided on the court case and that the warrant wouldn't have cared anyways, since y'all just killed a deputy, I don't think that one mistake makes such a huge difference.
Also, like I said, you're in SD yourself, you're were recruited in the same batch as me and were still a trainee alongside me on the day of the shooting, so I don't see why your hostility is so rampant on this report, since you know that this is how we do things and that me asking the other deputies on that scene was very much warranted, since that was my first time being killed?
So, all in all, your face was very much known to us, I got told that since your face is both on the MDC and SanGang files, that I should just drop your name, since we would've recognized you. Regardless of that, the car y'all killed me in is registered in your name, so even if we wouldn't have recognized you "because of your rapid aging and blacked out sunglasses, face tattoos and so on", the car was still in your name and the plates were very obviously on the dashcam footage.
Now, I'd appreciate it if we'd let the admin do his work and see what's what, before we keep up our constant stream of repeats.

You're at fault for lying in your dash camera information and almost getting Jacob in huge amounts of trouble, it does not matter if you were "unsure" of what you could've remembered. It clearly shows that you guys did not put in enough effort to investigate and actually get the right information, rather just dropped my name in /pm's and put up a warrant for my arrest.
Like we said earlier, the sunglasses wouldn’t have done you much good in that situation anyways, nor is the dashcam that pixelated, nor would the shot up windshield (which btw had more than enough footage with you getting out before it was shot) do you enough good to not recognise you, a known gang member. Regardless of that, you’re also the registered owner of the vehicle, so that helped our investigation immensely as well, giving us the rest of our probable cause in the warrant.
Telling me that I lied in my dashcam is a tad bit over exaggerated as well, since, like I said, I had to go from memory and from the information given to me over pms by the other shooter. I simply misremembered and thus wanted the actual footage to be used in the courtcase, rather than my foggy /dos. Regardless of that, the only thing it changed anyways was who used the rifle and who didn’t. In a case of capital murder, that barely matters anyways, so it’s not that big of a deal, especially now since my /dos were voided regardless after the actual footage was brought up in the court case.
Like I mentioned earlier, I asked 4 other deputies how I should go about on describing y’all and I got told to check the MDC and just drop your names if y’all got a mugshot in there. You, as a fellow member of SD and part of my batch, should know that at the time of the shooting, I was still a trainee and using the information provided by me. So, if I get told by 4-5 senior deputies that I should do it like that? Then I’ll do it like that.

You metagaming this information determined the whole case against Rafael Carballar, otherwise it would've been a whole different outcome, and my character would've very well still been out of jail without any law enforcement chasing him down.
Rule 3 clearly states that using /do to describe a character is not to be used, as its considered metagaming, and it encourages a breach of the metagaming rule. And I doubt that it is allowed to be used within SD at all.

Yourself and Jacob were desperately trying to force us to not roleplay those dashcam and warrant statements out, as you both knew it was gonna get you guys in a lot of trouble ICly. You knew clearly who had the AR and who didint, its impossible to miss that, its not a small detail that you accidentally get wrong. You lied and metagamed in your dashcam footages and warrant reports, and when you got caught, you had to take an OOC turn just to get out of it, cause you both know you wouldve lost your leo characters.
Lets not say how play 2 win that is as well, pushing something to the brim just for a capital murder trial to go the way you want, even though you don't lose or win anything in return. It sucks this case had to take such an OOC turn, just because of how childish some of these SD members are, where you guys have constantly bashed our faction and oocly attacked my lawyer just cause of the fact that he was handling a TGS' member case.
The situation that we were in is definitely not against the rules. My IC friend had killed a different cop a couple days ago, and he was realistically roleplaying the fear of getting caught, and at that time he was armed heavily and in his eyes, shooting you was the best getaway chance he had at that time. It's not something we just came up with just to shoot you.
That clip was not deleted by me, and I will not take the blame for that. If you arent aware, streamable deletes the clips you have posted after a certain amount of time.
That is all from me, I wont respond or post anymore, unless an admin asks me to do so.
The /do on the dashcam was a little more than what was shown in the case. I explained step by step how it came to the traffic stop, that two guys hopped put and shot me. That’s where I mixed up who had what, since at the time y’all shot me, I was, to everyones surprise, trying not to die. So, I obviously couldn’t 100% remember who had what weapon. The only reason I even assumed you had a rifle, was cause of my damages, which stated rifle shots, and the fact that the other guy who hopped out with you, who I PM’d afterwards for information on what the dashcam had seen, stated that there was a rifle involved. I ultimately assumed it came from you, since I didn’t see a whole lot in that situation. Now, since drw already stated that your mugshot was rather new and that you’ve been known to our unit, I don’t think I have to explain why I identified you straight in that /do. The only reason the other guy wasn’t, was because he didn’t have any MDC mugshot up. If the /do wouldn’t have been allowed, then someone of that 4 deputy crowd would’ve told me so, since I was still in my trainee phase at the time.
I wouldn’t have lost jack shit on those statements, because as you may know, I kinda died, so that dashcam footage ain’t mine technically. However, I just cleared up that I made a mistake in the /do and wanted y’all to rp the proper dashcam, the one that you could’ve provided as well. The one that you deleted the second it came in handy for you.

Lemme go dissect this accusation by accusation.
Metagaming: So, I don’t have any recording device going on my PC, since it fucks with my textures, meaning I gotta /do my dashcams, instead of actually showing off a recording. That technique itself is very much allowed in SD and I even asked beforehand, since I was fresh out of academy when the shooting happened. I got my information from my memory and your buddy with the rifle in pms, since my dashcam would obviously catch the entire shooting. The fact that I mentioned you by name, was because I asked the fellow deputies, which were also detectives, how I would go on and describe y’all through /do. I got told, if any of you got their mugshots taken on the MDC, then I am very much okay to tell them that you’d be identified, so I went on and did that. The sunglasses are really not an excuse to say you wouldn’t have been identified, since Rafael is a known gangbanger in TGS.
Powergaming: I wasn’t trying to void the dashcam, I was simply saying that the deputies statements about the mix up of rifle and handgun were caused by me misremembering the situation, since didn’t have any footage of it back then. Now since this https://streamable.com/bfdxhk would be the dashcam, it would have been very much clear that the driver, you, had the pistol and the passenger had the rifle. It was a simple OOC mistake by me, caused by lack of information. Also, I wasn’t trying to RP a different perspective or a different dashcam footage, I wanted y’all to RP the proper dashcam footage, and not my /dos, which I misremembered.
Now, I want to also remind y’all that hopping out of the car and shooting a cop just because you think they got a warrant on you is also very much against the rules, as mentioned in
4) Deathmatching
A character may only murder a member of law enforcement when there is an active existing threat to life, or there is indisputable evidence that the stop will lead to life or serious extended imprisonment.
Oh and one might also be a little suspicious that you removed your own recording of the shooting on both the court case AND this report. Not sure how well that fits into the common courtesy of this server, honestly.
